Chapter 18
By the time Jalal comes back inside, he sees his beautiful wife who has fallen asleep by then.
Walking towards their bed, he crawls on bed giving her a calm and peaceful stare.
He knew she's asleep. He puts the blanket over her and gives her a sweet peck on her forehead before he lays down next to her. She later then turns around and hugs him in her sleep.
Jalal just smiles looking at her.
"Thank god everything is fine. I was too stressed..." He whispers to himself.

As the door of Jalal's BMW open, the watchman ran to them to hold up the umbrella from saving them from getting wet. Jalal and Jodha both slowly got out and walked towards the door.
As they both stopped right in front of the door, the lightening once again struck with a heavier wind which made the door open with a thud.
Everyone looked towards the door as it suddenly opened.
They slowly stood up seeing the newly wedded couple dressed as a bride and groom.
Mr Bello then arrived with Humayun's coffee placed in a tray he was holding. He too looked up and stood quietly watching what everyone was.
Hamida, Humayun, Mirza, Bakshi and Mr Bello understood what the situation right now at the mansion was. They all know these two have got married already by the dresses they were wearing and by the way they both were holding hands.
The cold fill of Jodha was shivering from the weather and fear of what will happen next. She stood next to her husband holding his hands tightly, drenching in the rain and staring at her new family.
She knew Jalal had not told his family about this marriage, she knew a drama was just around the corner for them.
Jalal stood quiet like a wild tiger, staring at his father. He was confident, he was ready to fight what ever came in the way of him and his wife Jodha.
Humayun's mood was already not too good. First the electricity, second; the headache and now this. His anger took a second to reached its peak. He knew what happened but he didn't say a word. He wanted to see what Jalal would say. He wanted to see with what guts would they come and see him with.
He waited.
Hamida was feared. She was shocked to see this. She was not at all ready for all this. That moment, she only wished she knew this was going to happen so she could mentally prepare her husband for this. But she did not have a guess something like this would've occurred.
As much as patients Humayun had, he tried using it impatiently, waiting for a word to occur from Jalal or his own wife Hamida. But, he failed waiting. He could not be patient anymore.
The first thing Humayun did was, grabbed his coffee mug from Mr Bello, and threw it on the floor crashing it into millions of tiny pieces.
'Jalal.' Jodha whispers as she gets scared.
Jalal looks at Jodha and assures her everything will be okay. But Jodha wasn't being assured. She was too busy thinking what will happen next. She couldn't stop blinking in this heavy rain.
But when the new couple looks back at the family who were tensed, they saw Hamida's hand reaching her husbands shoulder. But before that, Humayun decided to leave without saying a word to his son. Everyone else just stood watching him walking back upstairs.
"Jalal what have you done." Says Hamida as she slowly shook her head looking at him with disgust.
"Ammijaan.."
"Bas." Hamida yelled showing her hand to Jalal, not allowing him to even state his explanation.
[Enough]
"I don't even want to hear a word from you. At least, not now." She stated and followed her husband to their room.
Mirza and Bakshi waited till their parents were completely gone. Once Hamida was out of their views, Bakshi ran to Jodha giving her the tightest ever hug she could while Mirza went to Jalal with a bright smile.
"Jodhaaa!!!" Bakshi squeals, squeezing and giving a bone-crushing hug to the soft and tiny Jodha in her arms.
"Hey congratulations Bhai!" Mirza whispered to Jalal as he gave his brother a manly hug.
"I'm so happy for you and Bhabhi. After all, you got what you wanted. I am very happy today." He added.
"Bhaii, congratulations!!" Bakshi then congratulated her brother hugging him.
"Thank you idiots!" Jalal replied.
"Bhabhi!" Mirza touched Jodha's feet.
Moving a step back, Jodha quickly stopped Mirza.
"Mirza!! Come on. I know I am your Bhabhi now. But I am not that old. Please don't touch my feet and all na."
Mirza laughed.
"Haha. No Bhabhi. It's not about being old or young. You're my Bhabhi now, you're elder than me according to the relationship you now share with this family.
Rule is rule." He smiled as he finished stating his reasons.
Jodha Jalal and Bakshi smiled.
"Okay." Jodha nods replies in a soft whisper.
"Jodha, this is Bello uncle. Our cook. Meet him. And uncle, this is Jodha; my wife." Says Jalal smiling very proudly
------------------
"Bhai, can you just give us 10 minutes. Just wait for us here. We'll be quick." Mirza said while running for Jalal's room with his sister Bakshi.
"Mirza what the hell? Hurry up!" Jalal yelled back.
"PLEASE WAIT BHAI!" Mirza shouted back.
'Oh god. I wonder what they will do..' Jalal whispers and looks at Jodha who was a bit upset.
"Aye, what happened Jodha? It's our first day together after getting married. Please don't be upset Jo."
Jodha looks at Jalal when he pulls her for a hug. She hugs him back resting her forehead on his manly chest.
"Jalal.. Do you know how important it was for me to get your parents blessings. How can we be happy without their blessings"
'I'm sure Jodha they will soon agree and give us their blessings as well.' He whispered back at his beautiful wife.
Lifting her head up, she whispered.
'I really hope so..'
She gets a smile as a response from her husband.
At this same moment; Abdul walked in.
"Hey bro"
Jodha and Jalal turn around to see Abdul there.
"Ah. You're finally here idiot." Said Jalal.
"First of all, many many congratulations to the both of you. And I apologise I could not attend your wedding today."
Abdul was sorry for not attending.
Jalal then introduced Jodha and Abdul to each other.
"Welcome to the family Bhabhi" Smilingly Abdul bent down touching Jodha's feet with respect.
Jodha who was emotional today, was touched by her wedding, and her family.
"Thank you Abdul." She happily smiled back at him.
"ABDUL BHAI COME UPSTAIRS PLEASE." Yelled Mirza and Bakshi both together.
All three looked towards the voice echoed.
"These two idiots, I don't know what they're doing. And now they are calling you Abdul." Said Jalal.
Abdul chuckled and nodded his head to Jalal and Jodha, indicating them to excuse him.
"NOW!" Yelled Bakshi.
"COMING!" Abdul shouted back at Bakshi and left running up.

"I think this is it now. Is there anymore we can do Abdul Bhai?" Asked Mirza.
"Hmm. Let me have a check again." Said Abdul, scanning the beautiful room filled with rose petals, candles and vanilla scents.
"I think bhaijaan and bhabhijaan will love this! And they would have a great time romancing in this beauty." Says Bakshi.
"Yup!" Stated Abdul.
"It's perfect." He added.
"Yes!" All three whispered together.
"Now let's turn the lights off and call them up before they end up coming up." Bakshi said.

"Khuda ke vaste aap shaant ho jaye" hamida worriedly told her husband.
[For the sake of God, please calm down]
"NAHIN" He yelled back at hamida.
[NO]
"Do you have an idea what and where I will be now? I will lose everything now. My house, my business, my money, EVERYTHING GOD DAMN IT!" Again he shouted throwing the beautiful antique glass vase on the floor, crushing it into billions of pieces.
Hearing the sounds of crush, everyone knew that Humayun is really angry at this moment. Everyone decided to ignore it.
Jodha was really guilty.
"Jalal I am not liking this at all. It's my first day here in my new home as your newly wedded wife and already my parents in laws are fighting and arguing. This is all because of me."
She shut her eyes tightly to push out the guilt in her.
"Forget it Jodha. I know my father. He will calm down in a few days. I'm sure everything will be fine then. We both knew this would happen anyway." Jalal tried consoling Jodha.
Jodha was still feeling guilty. Jalal could see her, he could feel what she's going through.
He slowly wrapped his arms around her waist and slowly pulled her closer to him.
Jodha slowly relaxed her arms on his arms and held onto his biceps. She looked at his ocean eyes, she loved them. She loved his ocean like deep eyes, she always wanted to drown herself in them one day.
'Stop looking at me like this Jalal'
She blushingly whispered.
Jalal smiled at her rosy pink cheeks and whispered back at her.
'You've never been this shy before. You're blushing baby. I never knew my sweetheart could be more adorable and cute.' He smirked at her and pulled her more closer, not leaving a space to even breathe between them, Jalal pulled her body on him with a little force.
"And as far as your first day here as my wife, I promise you darling; our first night will be unforgettable, for you and me both. I promise, our first night together will be the best night of your life, you will never regret it. I will only give you love, happiness and only love." He sensually whispered right next her to ears, blowing away her silky black beautiful hair that fell in front of her rosy pink cheeks.
The view in front of his eyes was just priceless. Lights were gone, everything else was blue inside, since they have a black out. Candles around them, Jalal in a white sherwani and his beautiful bride in her magenta coloured lehnga, with her transparent dupatta over her head, making the jasmine flower visible through her dupatta on her hair. A perfect gorgeous bride. She was blushing like no tomorrow.
This view, was priceless for Jalal. He couldn't help but smile brightly; showing his teeth.
Blushing Jodha couldn't take it anymore. She quickly hid her face in the arms of her husband, trying to save herself from drowning in him.
Hugging him tightly and breathing in heavily; she whispered back at him.
"I know I won't regret it Jalal, I too can't wait for that moment where we both will become from two to one soul."

"What a night. Blackout, and bhaijaan and bhabhijaan's romantic night. Wow, just think about it" Squeaked Bakshi.
"Aha. Look at them, looks like they've already started romancing from now!" Said Mirza, pointing at the love birds from upstairs looking down at them smilingly.
Bakshi and Abdul chuckled looking at Jodha and Jalal.
"I love you so much Jodha." Said Jalal.
"We love you too Bhai" said Mirza, Bakshi & Abdul all together.
Jodha quickly jumped off Jalal and both looked up at the three of them who were making fun of their current situation.
Bakshi Mirza and Abdul burst out laughing while coming back down.
Jodha turned her back to them, facing Jalal; she covered her mouth with the back of her fingers holding her laugh from coming out while Jalal was greasing and hating his brother and Abdul right now.
"Ruined my romantic moment you 3 idiots." Jalal annoyingly told.
Bakshi came and relaxed her elbow on Jodha's shoulder, rising an eyebrow at her.
"Hayee my brother is very romantic Bhabhi" she winked.
"Aree Bhai. No one will ruin your romantic moment tonight. We all have set your room up for you and bhabhijaan." Mirza naughtily said, showing his teeth at his brother.
"Yes, and you guys are ready to go for your first night romance now" added Abdul.
Jodha couldn't say a word. She didn't know her lovely new family would be this open and embarrassing. She was embarrassed knowing everyone knows what will be happening in the next few hours. She just lowered her beautiful eyes and looked down.
"Enough now guys, you all are scaring my beautiful wife now. Leave that job for me man." Says Jalal.
Jodha looked at Jalal with shock and now was even more embarrassed, when everyone just broke into laughter.

"What's happening to you?" Hamida asked her husband worriedly.
Humayun was sitting on the couch breathing heavily.
"Are you okay ji?" She asked again.
Hamida rubbed her husbands back as she could see him breathing with a lot of difficulties.
"Do you want some water?" She asked.
Humayun couldn't talk, he was clearly in pain. Hamida got up and grabbed the jar of water and poured some in a glass.
"Have some water, you might feel better." Hamida again said while rubbing his back with one hand and trying to make him drink water from the other.
While Humayun tried to grab the glass to drink water, he suddenly dropped the glass and quickly held onto his chest.
Sweat drops were dripping down his forehead, the whole room was turning upside down and blank.
Hamida was shocked with what happened, but she knew her husband needs to be taken hospital on spot.
"JALAL MIRZA" She yelled, calling for help.
The youngs outside heard Hamida's loud cry for help. Jalal, Mirza, Abdul, Baksi and Jodha, all looked up and knew something happened. Everyone looked at each other and ran up making their way into their parents room.
__________________________________________________________
"Doctor, is everything okay?" Jalal asked as the doctor walked towards them, coming out of hospital wardroom.
"Mr Mohammad, your father has had a stroke. There are a few blockages, which we have to remove through an open-heart surgery." The doctor declared.
Hamida was in tears listening to the doctor.
"Is their any danger? Please save my husband, doctor." Hamida spoke.
"There are many risks during the surgery. Please come aside so I can explain first." Said the doctor.
"Ammijaan, you stay here. I will go with the doctor. Mirza, Bakshi, Jodha, you all stay here and take care of Ammijaan. Abdul, come with me." Jalal quickly said and walked inside with Abdul.
After all explanations and discussions with the doctor, the open-heart surgery for Humayun had started.
Everyone sat outside the operation theatre waiting for the surgery to end.
Hamida's tears were dried. She was sitting in the middle of Mirza and Bakshi on the chairs against the wall. Everyone was quiet. Abdul was sitting across them, Jalal was standing up in the corner with Jodha with him.
Bakshi stood up and went to Jalal.
"Bhai, dad will be okay na?" Bakshi asked as her tears filled her eyes again.
Unfolding his arms, Jalal pulled his little sister for a hug.
"Of course he'll be okay Bakshi."
Bakshi started crying hugging her brother for support. Jodha caressed her head and decided to leave the brother and sister alone for a while. She saw Hamida sitting like a statue.
"I'll be back." Jodha whispered to Jalal and she got a nod as a response from him.
Jodha walked to Hamida and sat next to her where Bakshi was a while ago.
Jodha puts her arm on hamida's shoulder,
"Ammijaan, I'm sure everything will be fine. Would you like some tea or coffee?" Jodha asked.
Abdul looked up and saw Jodha asking Hamida for tea or coffee.
Hamida quietly got Jodha's hand from her shoulder and brushed her arm away from her. Jodha's arm dropped down.
She looked at her mother in law and said to herself that her mother in law is very tensed.
"Ammijaan.."
Hamida then shut her eyes and leaned her head back against the wall, ignoring Jodha's words.
Jodha stared at Hamida while Hamida ignored Jodha.
Jodha quietly got up and walked away.
Abdul watched Hamida's behaviour but remained silent seeing the situation in front of him...

After 6 hours of surgery, the doctors came out of the operation theatre.
"Excuse me Mr Mohammad" says the doctor.
Jalal and everyone gained doctor's attention and stood up.
"How is my husband now?" Hamida ran to him.
"Ma'am. Operation was successful. Though, his blood flow is really low. We will need to keep him in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and under observation."
"Will he be okay doctor?" Bakshi asked with tears in her eyes.
"Not at the moment. But we have to keep him under observation, and let's hope he wakes up in 72hrs."
"Mr Mohammad, I suggest you should take your family home and come back tomorrow. Your family needs a rest."
The doctor added patting Jalal's shoulders.
He nodded in response.
"You all can leave. I am here to take care of my husband." Hamida stated.
"We all are leaving, and that's final Ammijaan." He replied.
"But Jalal.."
"That's final Ammijaan. This is a private hospital, every doctor here is professional. They can take care of dad. We will come back tomorrow morning, I promise."
"Doctor, if anything happens, do inform me" added Jalal.

Mirza, Abdul, Hamida and Bakshi were in one car, and Jodha and Jalal in another. Jalal had told Bakshi to go with Hamida.
While driving, Jalal took a glimpse of his wife who was still in her bridal dress, but did not look like a bride anymore. Tiredness and the situation had taken over her mood and day. He softly held her hand.
"What's wrong Jodha?" he asked.
She looks up at her husband...
"Nothing Jalal. I'm just tired" she said.
A lone tear escaped from the corner of her eyes. Jalal had stopped his car on the left side of the road and looks at Jodha.
"I know Jodha, our wedding, my parents not accepting it, their fight, then dad getting a stroke, this all was unexpected, I know how you would feel at this moment. But nothing is your fault baby, what had to happened, has happened. It's my fault, I never told my parents that I'm getting married. But I didn't know my father would end up getting a great shock over it. You're now my wife, he will have to accept it no matter what."
"I know it's not my fault Jalal, but everything happened after I came to your house. Don't you think this would never have happened if we didn't get married?"
"Stop there Jodha." Jalal cut Jodha in between.
"You're my wife now. If Ammijaan and dad can't accept us, then that will be their problem and they will deal with it. But right now, I want you to ignore everything."
"Jalal, I feel as if Ammijaan is upset with me. Do you know what happened at the hospital when abbu was in the operation theatre? ..." Jodha explains what Hamida made her feel.
"And because of that, I feel as if Ammijaan is really upset with me Jalal.. I felt as if she is not liking my presence here and in this family..." She wiped another tear that trickled down her cheeks.
"Hmm I'm sure Ammijaan was tensed that time. We will see tomorrow, I'm sure she will be okay. Now stop crying, you know I hate when you cry. Let's go." He replied placing a kiss on her forehead.
"Hmm.. I hope what you're saying is what happens .. " She whispered.
__________________________________________________________
It was already 4:30am when Jalal and Jodha reached home. Others had reached half an hour earlier.
"Why are you all still up for? It's nearly 5 in the morning, I want everyone to go to their rooms and sleep. At 10 we will go hospital again." Jalal said boldly.
After seeing everyone leave, Abdul comes up to Jalal.
"Jalal, if you need anything; I'm just a phone call away. I will meet you all tomorrow at hospital again." Said Abdul.
"Come on Abdul, just stay in your room here. It's already late now, stay with us tonight and leave tomorrow if you want." Relied Jalal.
"Jalal, I am going up; I really need to change my outfit..." Jodha told Jalal.
Jalal nodded.
"Oi just stay here for tonight. Let me go to my wife now." Said Jalal and ran to catch up to Jodha.
Abdul smirked looking at Jalal knowing his plan already, after seeing Jalal and Jodha disappear, Abdul made his way to his room in the Mohammad Mansion.
__________________________________________________________
Before Jodha opened her new room, Jalal hugged her from behind, making her jump in fear.
"Omg." Jodha whispered.
"Jalal!" She added.
"You almost gave me a heart attack."
Jalal chuckled as he rested his chin on her shoulder.
"Hah, how can you leave me for a second wifey." He gives her a smooch on her smooth silky neck.
'Jalal what are you doing...' Jodha whispers as she closes her eyes to relish the beautiful feeling.
Jalal smirks seeing her reaction.
"Let's go in now baby..."
"Hmm yeah." She replied.
Opening the door and entering her new room, she looked around the huge room that was filled with rose petals everywhere on the bed, tables and floor, with a beautiful vanilla aroma. There was only 2 more candles that was left, the rest had went off.
They both stood there staring at their room. Jodha looked back at Jalal.
"They did a pretty good job" she said smiling.
"They did too." Replied Jalal.
"You go change now, outfit and jewellerys must be too heavy to still have them on. Do you want to shower?" He asked.
"Yes please. I want to take a shower first."
"Alright come." He says.
__________________________________________________________
"Damn, our first night is ruined. But I promise you Jo, we will do our first night soon." Jalal said to himself when Jodha was in shower.
Soon Jodha had came out of the shower wearing a silky light purple night gown with her went curly hear open.
"Ahh Jo, come here, next to me." Jalal patted on the space right next to him on bed. He was waiting for Jodha to come out, resting himself on bed, leaning against the bed head, he just called Jodha to accompany him.
"Hmm..." Jodha crawled on bed and leaned against Jalal's body hugging him sideways.
"This is heaven.." She whispered breathing in deeply.
"Is it?" He asked.
"I mean, staying in your arms is heaven, especially like this, with such a beautiful decorations around us."
She closes her eyes and relaxes in her husband's arms.
Jalal smiles at her cutely.
"You should've dried your hair Jodha. You might get sick." He said.
"Hmm no, I like letting it naturally dry."
Hamida walks in Jalal's room without knocking.
"Jalal..." Hamida stopped right away.
Jodha opened her eyes hearing her mother in law in her room. She moved away from Jalal a little.
"Oh. I'm so sorry. I forgot my son is married now." She stated.
"It's okay Ammijaan. You don't need to be sorry, come in. Is there anything i can help you with?" Jodha said with a beautiful smile on her face.
"I needed my son." Hamida replied rudely.
Jodha's smile slowly vanished hearing Hamida's reply. She looked at her husband, talking to him through eye contacts.
Jalal quickly spoke to his mother.
"What is it Ammijaan?"
"I have a headache Jalal. My tablets are finished. And Mr Bello is also sleeping, if you have any, can you please give me some."
"Of course Ammijaan.." Said Jalal.
"Jodha, there's a draw next to you, can you give Ammijaan some panadol tablets please."
"Haan, sure." She smiled.
Taking out the tablets, she went to her mother in law and gave the tablets.
"Ammijaan, would you like me to give you an oil head massage? You'll feel ..."
Hamida turned her back to Jodha and left the room closing the door, not allowing Jodha to finish off her words.
Jodha felt really bad this time. Tears pricked through her eyes, but she quickly wiped it.
Jalal too felt bad this time, his mother's behaviour was really rude this time. He got up and went to Jodha.
"I want you to sleep for a while. I'll be back." He said.
"Where are you going?" She asked wiping her tears.
"I am going to talk to Ammijaan. This behaviour is unacceptable. You're my wife now."
"Jalal no." She quickly stopped her husband holding his arm.
"No Jalal, I don't want anymore drama. Especially at time. Let few days go, I'm sure Ammijaan will be fine."
"No one treats my wife like this Jodha. I will spare this today, if she repeats it again tomorrow or so on, I will talk to her and you will not stop me." He said.
"Not at this moment Jalal, it's not the correct time. Please." She pleaded.
Mainly, Jalal was angry from inside. He was getting annoyed and frustrated with his mother's behaviour towards his wife.
"I won't keep quiet if she does it again. Anyway, now we should sleep. Let me lock the door this time" he smiled.
"Yes please, I don't want Mirza walking in next." She giggled
"Hah. If Mirza came in and saw us like that. He wouldn't have left without making you embarrassed as hell."
"Yes I know. I couldn't believe what Mirza Abdul you and Baksi did before." She greased Jalal off.
"You embarrassed me so much Jalal. Dare to do that again, and I won't let you touch me for a whole month." She giggled and ran to back to bed making Jalal shocked.
"What?!" He said.
"NO NEVER." he shouted a little and ran behind her.
"Yes yes." She said as she took her gown coat off and slipped herself under the cold white silky sheets
"No, no." He also said slipping himself under the sheets as well.
He puts his arms around her waist and pulled her back against his chest. The coldness of Jalal's chest gave a shiver to Jodha. She quickly shut her eyes.
"God.." She whispered.
"This feeling Jalal..." She leaned her back against his chest and head against his neck.
"I love you so much."
"What feeling baby?" Jalal sensually asked her, while planting soft kisses from her milky neck to shoulder from a line.
Her breath stopped for 3 seconds. She finally breathed again, and this time, she made sure she was breathing in and out heavily.
"I don't know.." She breathed.
"I feel strange.." She breathed again.
"in my stomach. Perhaps it felt good. Just like the day when we had our first kiss."
Jalal listening to her and smiled.
"Getting butterflies aye?" He smirked at her.
"Tomorrow, you will get the best butterflies, I promise. Goodnight baby, let's sleep now."
Jalal gave a kiss the side of her cheek and pulled her closer to him. Jodha puts her arms over her tummy and Jalal's arms and slowly falls asleep in her husband's arms...
__________________________________________________________
"Everything that happened today, is because of you Jodha!!" Hamida screamed.
"You're ruining my happy family. You've only stepped into this house and you've already ruined many things. The relationship between the son and father, because of you; I also had a fight with my husband. And because of you, today my husband is in the ICU. No Jodha. If anything happens to my husband, I will not let you live happily with your husband. I don't care if your husband is my own son; I will never forgive or accept you." Hamida angrily said and wiped her tears away.
