I want to know what Meera and Veronica saw in Gautam actually.

Also, how come Veronica fell for Gautam simply because she wanted traditional things like marriage. It was as if she wanted to be his wife so that she could have Dimple as her mother in-law. 😆

Anyway, I think Gautam was never interested in Veronica romantically, so irrespective of her sexual habits, he was never going to commit to her.

B/c she wasn't hypocritical enough.

The real bitch was Meera who happily stole away her bff's love after said bff opened her home & heart to Meera, all the while crying & apologising that Gautam fell for her.. The real good girl of the film was Veronica who did what she did straight from the heart & was totally straightforward about it. It was Meera who was a right bitch but no one saw that b/c she was "such a good girl." LMAO. 🤡

i know we always interpret it this way but i have a diff take on it

i feel meera had a calm aura around her..that tranquility and peace which gautam was lacking..that sense of calmness he found in meera..he was a party animal..so was veronica..and they both were just too strong for each other..meera brought that stability in gautam's life ..veronica and gautam together would have been too destructive..and that imo has nothing to do with her character as such..more of them being too strongly alike to the point of destruction

^^Thats a different take alright but the way it was portrayed through character behaviour & dialogue, it was b/c Veronica was "used & loose girl" while Meera was the girl to marry. Nah which way you would look at it, that's the way their characters were meant to be received.

mainly for his mom or fam? but for gautam too? i don't think that was ever his reason to fall for meera coz she is sanskari..i mean if sanskari is all he was looking for he would have gone for an arranged marriage long ago as his mom was very keen..

i know how at many places this character thing was thrown..but i really don't think gautam picked meera and rejected veronica coz of this..i am striving to dig deeper to remember if something like this was shown/hinted from gautam to meera ..

What they wanted to show probably was that Veronica and Gautam were too similar, while G and M were different so opposites got attracted...the same reason why Meera and Veronica gelled so well too because they were opposites

But what came out of the scenes and dialogues, was that Gautam chose Meera because she was the sanskari type, the type u can take home to Mom.

I didnt like the film much...the songs were good though.
