Before setting off to Australia to give company to her current flame, Yuvraj Singh, Deepika Padukone had been busy house hunting in Mumbai with Yuvi's mom, Shabnam Singh.
A close friend of the Om Shanti Om girl revealed to us, "Yuvi had introduced Deepika to his mom, Shabnam a few days after his birthday party that took place on December 12th at a Mumbai star hotel. The two ladies had hit off quite well and had been in touch since then. When recently, the south-paw's mom came down to Mumbai, she met Deepika. Both, apart from jointly shopping together, also went house hunting together."
The friend adds, "On various recommendations, the duo checked on flats together in Mumbai's posh suburbs ranging from Bandra (where Deepika presently stays) to Lokhandwala, Andheri. One such recommendation had got them very excited and they reached Mumbai's Versova area where the sky scrapper was located. But so appalled were they by the immediate building surroundings that they even refused to step out of their car. The estate agent and the flat owner were waiting in the flat but the twosome went back without informing them. Their hunt is still on and in Deepika's absence here, Yuvi's mom will be short-listing a few flats, the final decision on which shall be taken by Yuvi and Deepika."

Deepika is now in Sydney as her shoot for Yash Raj's yet untitled next with Ranbir Kapoor in the main lead begins there soon. She had in fact brought forward her visit down under specially to spend her birthday with the flamboyant cricketer.

"The two are very serious about each other and marriage might be on the cards in around two years time. Both are not in a hurry now as they are presently giving full attention to their career which is on the upswing. Their respective families also don't seem to mind their relation and have given the couple their thumbs up. The joint flat hunting done by Yuvi's mother and Deepika might be done keeping in mind Yuvi's need to settle down in Mumbai as soon, instead of making constant up and down from home city, Chandigarh to be next to his lady love," chips in our source close to India's one day vice-captain.

Just because Deepika went house hunting with Yuvi's mother does not necessarily add up to "marriage on the cards." What is it, do unmarried people simply camp out in the open when they are dating😕

I remember reading an interview of yuvraj mom clarifying on rumours of deepika and yuvraj dating,

his mom simply says "deepika is a well mannered girl and yuvraj deepika r gud friends and nothing beyond that 😊
but media loves spectulating and believes in making their own stories like how they said ranbir deepika ignored eachother at sfk awards and if i m correct then they also took that information from their close sources 😆 😆 but in the interview, ranbir denied these rumours and called it BS.

its getting tougher day by day to believe these reliable sources 🤢
