Chapter 38 - The Day After

A few days later...

"Hurry up Meher," said Ashlesha.

"I'm coming! I'm coming!" sighed Meher. She had a duffle bag slung on one shoulder and was struggling with a very heavy suitcase with both hands. "I don't see what the rush is. The sangeet program is not until this evening."

"The haldi is later this morning and mendhi in the afternoon," Ashlesha pointed out.

"Yes, but Heer Didi said both the ceremonies are going to be small and quiet affairs," said Meher. "No one expects anyone outside of close family and friends to really show up."

"Well we're not just anybody," Ashelsha corrected her. "I'm Veera's future sister-in-law and you are her friend. And I don't want to miss a single ceremony."

Hmph! Thought Meher. Some friend you turned out to be...abandoning Veera and the rest of us at the nightclub, and then lying to your mom about your whereabouts!

"Meher! What are you thinking?" asked Ashlesha.

"Um...I just remembered I have some things to take care of. Why don't you go on ahead, and I'll catch up with you later," suggested Meher.

"Really...and just what do you have to do that is more important than accompanying me?" asked Ashlesha.

Meher grew quiet.

"You know if I didn't know better, I'd think you were trying to avoid going over to the Junejas place," said Ashlesha.

"No, I'm not, lied Meher. Actually she was. She hadn't seen or heard from Preet since her little drunken episode. Work and Veera's wedding preparations had kept him away these past few days. Was she missing him? Yes, terribly. But what was the point? Even though Ashlesha didn't deserve him, his family was firmly committed to their union, and nothing would change that. She would have to continue to keep her distance from him...he would feel hurt...but in the long run it would help them both get over each other once she left for Ludhiana. So, spending the entire day with Preet roaming around would not exactly be a wise thing for her to do right now.

"Yes, you are," chuckled Ashelsha. "I can understand how you feel...considering how you made a fool of yourself the last time you were there...but you have to go. I don't know what's wrong with mom, but ever since we stayed out all night she won't let me go anywhere any more without an escort. For the time being that means you." She reached over and tweaked both of Meher's cheeks. "Because you are such a good girl. Now pick up that suitcase and follow me."

"Uff!" cried Meher, as she picked up the suitcase again. "What do you have in here? Bricks?"

"No of course not silly," chuckled Ashlesha. "It's just clothes. You know how mom is always telling me to dress more traditionally at these Juneja events...well I packed all sorts of traditional stuff this time. Now with all the beading, lacing, and embroidery, each designer lengha is quite heavy."

"Each?" said Meher. "How many did you pack? I mean, you only really need one good outfit for the sangeet tonight. You can just wear regular clothes for the other ceremonies. In fact, I'm sure you'll regret it if you get mendhi or something your designer outfits."

"You see Meher, that's the difference between you and I," said Ashlesha. "You make do with what you have and I never settle for anything less than the best. Whether it's the mendhi or the sangeet, Ash is going to make sure she looks absolutely mind blowing. After all, kisi ka mind jo blow karna hai (I have to blow someone's mind away)."

"Whose?" asked Meher.

"Preet...who else?" Ashlesha toyed with her earing and smiled at the thought.

"Of course," Meher said quietly. "Well...can we at least get one of the servants to take this bag out to the car? It's really heavy."

"Oh...yeah sure," giggled Ashlesha. "Why didn't you say so before?"

A short while later...

Preet walked into the large ballroom in the Juneja's mansion, carrying a basket full of decorative garlands. He handed it to a servant. "Kishan, these just came in," he said. "The florist is unloading the rest of the flowers right now. I want you and Gopi to go outside and help unload the truck, then have everything brought back here so we can start putting them up."

"Ji Saab," said Kishan. He gave Preet a slight nod then hurried out.

Tonight was Veera's Sangeet. It was going to be a slighty smaller and more personal affair than her engagement party at the hotel. The guests would include mostly close friends and family rather than all his father's various business associates. Preet was in charge of decorations and he wanted to make sure everything was just perfect for his baby sister. He looked around admiring the beautiful colored fabric draping the walls in shades of white, gold, purple and pink, then walked over to 2 men working on the other side of the room. One was on top of a ladder, while the other was handing him a string of colored lights.

"Ramu, did you guys test those lights before putting them up?" asked Preet.

"Nahin Saab," said Ramu.

"Come on guys," sighed Preet. "That's just common sense. Get down and test everything out before you put up anything else. I want this place looking absolutely spectacular tonight."

"Ji Saab," the 2 men said in unison.

Preet looked around the remainder of the room, then checked his watch. Everything seemed to be under control and on time. Well this boring, he thought. He had no major role in the haldi or mendhi ceremonies. And his friends weren't going to show up until later in the evening. How was he going to keep himself occupied until then? Video games? Nah! If the kids saw him playing, they'd insist on joining him. He didn't mind the boys so much, but Chahat and Tanu...they would just want to play some dumb cartoon animal game. He could call someone. But who? Meher. He took out his phone and contemplated the idea. He had tried his best to take Gaurav's advice and give her some space. Surely she wouldn't mind him calling her now after so many days. He took a deep breath and dialed her number.

"Hello," answered Meher.

"Hi Meher, it's me," smiled Preet. "Got a minute?"

"Well...actually...," said Meher.

"I...uh...just wanted to find out how you were," said Preet. "I mean, you've been getting your rest and drinking plenty of fluids right?"

"Preet, I'm not sick anymore," said Meher.

"I know...but I just wanted to make sure you were okay after the hangover," said Preet.

"That was 3 days ago," said Meher. "And yes...I'm doing fine."

"I wanted to come by and see you...but it's been really hectic over here," explained Preet. "I mean, I know you'll be coming over tonight...but...I guess I just wanted to hear your voice."

"Listen, I can't really talk right now," said Meher. "I'm with..."

"Oh come on Meher," protested Preet. "I haven't seen you for so many days now. The least you can do is spend a few minutes on the phone with me."

"You don't understand...," tried Meher. "This isn't a good time."

"What? Why not?" frowned Preet. "Don't tell me you're with Viren."

"Actually she's with me." Preet was surprised to suddenly hear Ashlesha's voice on the other end.

"Kya Preet...," Ashlesha said sarcastically. "Kabhi hum se bhi baat kar liya karo (Come on Preet, how about giving me the time of day sometime)."

Preet rolled his eyes. "Ash...Meher was sick...so I was just..."

"Yeah yeah...I know...," said Ashelsha. "I know everything Preet."

Preet frowned. Not that he really cared, but just exactly what was she implying?

"I mean...that you're her friend," Ashlesha chuckled. "It's only natural for you to be concerned for her. But I have a surprise for you." Moments later she walked into the ballroom along with Meher and Sam. "Ta dah! I bet you didn't know we were coming over did you?"

Preet shook his head. He smiled softly as he glanced over at Meher. It was so good to see her.

"Preet...," Ashlesha snapped her fingers at him. "I'm over here."

"Oh...yeah," sighed Preet. "You got me Ash. I had no clue you guys were coming in so early."

"Well I wanted to get the full wedding experience," explained Ashelsha. "After all we're next in line. But we'll have a destination wedding of course." She patted him on the cheek.

Like hell we will, thought Preet.

"So...where's Veera?" asked Sam.

"She's upstairs in her room," said Preet.

"We should go up and see her then," said Ashlesha. "I have to get ready too. Oh and we should definitely rehearse our dance moves for the Sangeet tonight. Preet, be a dear and have someone get our stuff out of the car and take it to the guest room upstairs?"

"Okay," said Preet.

"Come on girls, let's go," smiled Ashlesha. "I want to see what Veera's wearing tonight. I'll decide which of the dresses I brought with me to wear accordingly. Oh God! What if I don't like anything and need to have something brought over from home?"

"Oh wow Ash!" Sam rolled her eyes. "Rehearsing dance moves...deciding what to wear...so much to do...and so little time! How will you ever get it all done?"

"Ha ha Sam," Ashlesha looked at her with narrowing eyes. "You think you're a comedian. don't you?"

"Well you do give me plenty of material to work with," chuckled Sam.

"Look you...," began Ashlesa.

"Guys...we're here for Veera...remember?" Meher stepped in between the 2 feuding girls. "And we're suppose to have fun...together. So let's not fight over trivial things."

"Oh that's right," smiled Sam. "It's Dulhan's side versus the Dulha's side tonight." She looked at Preet and smiled mischievously. "Nihal better be ready, because we are totally going to slay tonight."

"That's right," smiled Preet. He and Sam exchanged a high-5. Ashlesha held up her hand and Sam gave it a tap also.

"That's the spirit...we're all on the same side," said Meher.

"Come on, let's go upstairs," said Ashelsha as she headed out the room.

"Just so you know...I still don't like you,"" said Sam, as she followed her.

"I don't like you either," retorted Ashlesha.

Meher shook her head. She was about to follow her friends out, when Preet took hold of her hand and held her back. She tried to pull her hand back, but he held on firmly and instead gave it a slight tug pulling her closer to him.

"Preet...," gasped Meher. "What do you think you're doing? What if Ashlesha...?"

"Do you have any idea how happy I am to see you?" Preet interrupted her. "It seems like ages since we last met."

"It's only been 3 days," Meher reminded him.

"Na-ha," Preet shook his head. "Not just 3 days...72 hours...that's 4,320 minutes...which is 259,200 seconds...and each second felt like a lifetime." A smile formed on his face as he gazed down into her eyes. "So...did you miss me too?"

Meher quickly looked away, but it was too late. She could feel her cheeks grow warm. "No, I did not."

"You didn't think about me at all?" asked Preet.

"No," lied Meher.

"You're lying," grinned Preet.

"I...I am not," cried Meher. Her blush deepened into a deep red hue

"Then why are you blushing?" he teased her.

"Because you keep on staring at me, like...like...," replied Meher.

"Like what?" asked Preet.

Meher gasped as he took a step towards her. "...Like...the way you always do," she stammered.

"Meher where are you?" Ashelsha called out.

"I'm coming!" replied Meher.

This time when she pulled her hand back Preet let her go. He smiled as he watched her run out of the room. He and Meher were going to be under one roof for the entire day. His mood had just gotten a lot better.

Later...

Preet looked around. There was no one in the hallway. Both Kulraj and Heer were in the kitchen. This was his chance. He quickly walked down the hall with a tray of glasses full of juice. He reached Veera's room, and was just about to turn the door knob, when someone tapped him on the shoulder.

"Ah!" he cried out in surprise when he turned to find Heer standing behind him with her arms folded in front of her. "Heer Bhabi? How did you get up here so fast?"

"I took the back stairs up from the kitchen. But just where do you think you're going?" she demanded.

"Me? I...uh...juice...," Preet held up the tray. "I thought Veera might like some."

"Looks like you brought enough for more than just Veera," Heer said with a raised brow.

"Well...of course," said Preet. "It would be bad manners not to offer some to the others. Sam is in there too...and Ash..."

"...and Meher," said Heer.

Preet gave her a sheepish grin.

"My dear sweet devar ji, I know exaactly what you're up to, but I can't allow you to go in," said Heer. "The girls are getting ready."

"But Bhabi...,"" said Preet.

"No buts Preet, we don't need any distractions or disturbances," said Heer, as she took the tray away from him. "Go away."

Preet frowned as Heer went inside the room and closed the door behind her. He stuffed his hands inside his pockets then slowly walked down the hall. He paused in front of Chahat's room as he heard his nieces giggling. He thought for a moment, then knocked on the door. "Hey girls, how would you like to do a favor for me?"

Moments later...

Meher sat on the floor with a small basket of tiny white flowers, and another one with yellow and red petals in it. Tanu and Chahat ran into the room and sat down in front of her carefully watching her every move.

Meher strung the last of the tiny white flowers she needed to complete the garland she was making. "There," she smiled. "It's all ready." She showed everyone the necklace and earrings she had fashioned out of flowers.

"Ooo, that's so pretty Meher Maasi," Chahat clapped her hands in delight.

"I want to take a picture of it," said Tanu. She pulled out a phone and quickly clicked a picture, then exchanged a smile with Chahat.

"Tanu, did you take your mom's phone again?" asked Heer. "You know that's not a toy. Please go put it back before she gets upset."

"Okay Heer Mammi," smiled Tanu.

"I'll go with her," said Chahat.

Both girls ran out of the room. Preet was waiting for them in the hallway. "Well?" he asked.

"We only managed to get one," said Tanu.

"Mom caught us," sighed Chahat.

"That's okay," said Preet. He held out his hand for his phone.

Instead of giving it back to him, both girls held their hands out. "Aren't you forgetting something Chachu?" asked Chahat.

"We had a deal," Tanu added.

Preet shook his head. "You 2 are getting too smart for your own good," he chuckled. He reached into his pocket and pulled out 2 bars of Cadbury's dairy milk chocolate.

The girls took the chocolate and ran back to Veera's room. Preet checked his phone, looked at the picture Tanu had taken of Meher and smiled. He couldn't get into Veera's room to see Meher, but he had her picture. And for the time being, that would do.

Meanwhile...

Veera picked up an earring made from flowes, put it on, and checked her reflection in the mirror. "I love these Meher, thanks so much." She smiled and gave Meher a hug.

"I guess it's okay, if you like that kind of stuff," scoffed Ashelsha. "I'm wearing real diamonds with my outfit."

"Uh...yeah...but Veera is going to get haldi put on her," explained Meher. "By the time everyone is done with her, it will be all over her face, hair, and clothes."

"Ew!" Ashlesha frowned at the thought.

"The last thing she'll want to do is clean out haldi from every nook and cranny of her expensive jewelry, continued Meher. "This is a fun alternative."

"And it's better than not wearing anything," chuckled Sam.

"Correct," smiled Veera.

"Meher Massi can you make me something too?" asked Tanu. "Please, pretty please."

"Me too...me too," said Chahat.

"Come on girls...let's not bother Meher," said Heer.

"It's no bother Heer Didi," chuckled Meher. "We still have plenty of flowers left over, and girls are so small. I'll have something ready for them in no time. You both can help me too."

"Yay!" Chahat and Tanu jumped up and down.

They sat down next to Meher and began to hand her the flowers they wanted one by one.

Meanwhile, Heer and Sam began to adorn Veera, with the rest of the things Meher had made.

"Mommy...is Veera bua really going to leave us tomorrow?" asked Chahat.

"I'm afraid so sweetie," said Heer.

"I think it's really unfair that Maasi has to leave, said Tanu. "Nanu is really going to miss her. Why can't Nihal Massa come and live here?"

Everyone in the room laughed.

"Because that's just how it is," smiled Heer. "The girl always goes and lives with her husband."

"Whoever made that rule probably didn't have any daughters," sighed Sam. "Otherwise he wouldn't have made the girls go away."

"Or maybe he wanted a daughter so badly and that was the only way he could think of getting one," said Meher.

"That's so weird! Only you would think up of something like that," laughed Sam. "We're supposed to be boy bashing here."

"Did anyone say boys?" said Kulraj. She and Maya walked into the room just as Heer finished pinning the last of the flowers in Veera's hair. "Listen the haldi from the groom's side just arrived...and..." She paused to look at admire Veera. Tears welled up in her eyes as she walked up to her. "I still can't believe my baby sister is all grown up. It seems like only yesterday...Kiran and I were setting up the canopy on her princess bed and now..."

"Kul Di...don't you get all senti on me now...," said Veera as she fought back tears of her own.

"That's right," sniffled Heer. "You're going to make her mascara run."

The trio broke out into laughter and hugged each other.

"Don't worry mommy," said Tanu, as she squeezed in between the group and hugged Kulraj. "I'm not going anywhere."

"Neither am I," Chahat piped up.

Veera pulled both her nieces close to her and hugged them. "You both have to promise me you're going to make your parents bring you all to visit me in California real soon...okay. Then we'll all go to Disneyland."

"Yes!" giggled Tanu and Chahat.

"Wow guys...Karan Johar would be so proud of you all right now," Maya clapped her hands loudly. "I really hate to break up this Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham moment, but we have to go down now."

A short while later...

Veera sat on a small stool. Preet and Herman stood on either side of her holding up ends of a red dupatta over her.

Family and friends took turns applying haldi to her face, arms, and feet. When it was Meher's turn Sam pulled out a phone and clicked her picture. No one noticed as she slipped the phone back to Preet. They were too busy laughing at Ashlesha as she put on latex gloves before dipping her fingers in the haldi. At the very end, it was Prem, Herman and Preet's turn.

"I'm going to miss you gudiya (doll)," said Prem. He applied haldi on Veera's cheek then gave her a kiss on the side of her head.

"Me too," smiled Herman. He picked up a small spot of haldi with one finger and applied it to Veera's other cheek, then squeezed her nose affectionately.

"Kya baat kar rahe ho Bhaiya (You've got to be kidding me bro)," chuckled Preet. "Iss chipkali ko kaun miss karega (Who's going to miss this little lizard)? By the way I'm moving into your room tomorrow," he teased Veera. "It's got a much better view than mine."

"Don't you dare Bhaiya!" cried Veera.

"Preet!" Prem grabbed hold of his brother's ear. "Tu Veera koh tang karna bas kar aur usko haldi laga (Stop teasing Veera and apply the haldi to her)."

"That's like my good brother," laughed Veera. She gave Prem a thumbs up sign and stuck her tongue out at Preet.

"Alright...alright...everyone out of the way," said Preet. He rolled up his sleeves, rubbed his hands together and sat down before Veera.

"No tricks Preet Bhaiya," warned Veera.

"What...why does everyone automatically assume the worst from me? Does it look like I have anything up my sleeves?" joked Preet. He picked up a small dollop of haldi and tapped his sister's forehead with it. Then before anyone knew what was happening, he scooped up 2 handfuls of the yellow mixture and rubbed them thoroughly into Veera's face. "Ab acha sa glow aye ga (now you'll really glow)," he laughed.

"Ugh! You are so dead Preet Bhaiya!" cried Veera. She got up to hit him but he grabbed both her arms and hugged her tightly.

"I'm going to miss you chipkali," he whispered into her ear.

"I'm going to miss you too Bhaiya," Veera threw her arms around her brother and began to cry.

Prem and Herman came up to them and joined them in a group hug.

Meher stood on side smiling at Preet and admiring the closeness he shared with his family. She hadn't seen too much of this happy and carefree side of him. It suited him so well. She tried to imagine what it would be like to be part of all this. But no...it wasn't possible. Preet's father would never accept her, that was a given. And Preet was a fool if he thought he could leave all this for her. They wouldn't last 2 days before he would realize that he had made the biggest mistake of his life. She saw Heer leave for the kitchen to get refreshments and decided to go and help her.

Preet picked up a towel and wiped his hands clean, but the yellow color still remained on his hands. Great! He thought. Not only was he going to have to change, but he'd have to shower again too.

"Arey wah beta...ab toh tumhara number jald hi aane wala hai (Son...your number is next), said an aunty sitting nearby.

"Ji?" said Preet.

"You've got some haldi on your cheek," the old lady pointed out.

"Oh," smiled Preet. "I must have gotten some on me when I hugged Veera." He was about to wipe it off with the towel when the aunty spoke up again.

"Kehtain hain dulha ya dulhan ki haldi kisi kaware ko lag jaye toh uski bhi jald hi shaadi ho jaati hai (It is said that if the wedding haldi gets on some single person, they will soon be married too).

"Is that so?" said Preet. He picked up the bowl of remaining haldi and handed it to the lady. "Phir to aunty achi tarah se haldi laga dijiye (Then rub it in good aunty)."

"Chal hatt besharam (naughty boy)," laughed the old lady as she pushed him away.

Dulha to ready hai (The groom is ready), thought Preet. Bas ab meri hone wali dulhan maan jaye (now if only my bride to be would agree). He glanced in the direction Meher had gone of in and smiled.

Meanwhile...

Heer took out a tablet from a medicine bottle and swallowed it with the help of a sip of water just as Meher walked into the kitchen. "Aray Meher, what are you doing here?"

"I came to help," smiled Meher.

"That's nice of you," said Heer. She passed the medicine bottle to Meher. "Can you please put this back in the cabinet behind you?"

"Sure," said Meher. She looked at the bottle. It was a prescription. "Are you okay?" She tried to read the label. "Dr. Komo..."

"Dr. Komolika," smiled Heer. "And yes I'm fine. Those are just prenatal vitamins." She placed several glasses on a tray then began to fill them with sherbet. "Just let me get one more tray ready and then you can help me take this out. The haldi ceremony was nice wasn't it? Leave it to Preet to make it a memorable one for Veera. Ha! Did you see how much haldi he rubbed onto her face?"

Meher smiled. "Preet is very close to his brothers and sisters, isn't he?" she said. "I don't think I've ever seen a bond that strong in any of my acquaintances."

"Yes," smiled Heer. "They're all very close. It's one of the things I love most about being a part of this family. Everyone is trying to put up a brave front but we're really going to miss Veera. Especially Preet. They were both so young when they lost their mother. And they've been masti partners forever."

"I noticed," smiled Meher. "I haven't really seen much of this side of Preet before."

"Yeah...a lot has changed over the years," sighed Heer. "But there was a time when Preet was known as the prankster prince of this family. And Veera was always his partner in crime. " She looked at Meher and smiled. "I hope someday someone will bring the old Preet back to us."

"Um...we should take these drinks out," said Meher.

"Right, smiled Heer. "I'll grab this tray and you can take that one on the counter over there.

"Sure," said Meher, as Heer headed out. "I'll just wash my hands and be right out." She walked over to the sink, rinsed her hands clean of the remaining haldi, then dried them with a towel. She then picked up the tray with drink and headed out. She had just reached the door, when Preet appeared and clicked a photo of her.

"Preet, yeh kya kar rahe ho tum (what are you doing)?" asked Meher.

"Yehi toh main jaana chahta hoon (that's what I want to know) Meher, what are you doing?" He waved his hand and a servant appeared. "We pay people to do this." He took the tray from Meher's hands and handed it to the servant. "Isko ja kar serve kar do (go and serve these)."

"Ji saab," said the servant. He gave Preet a slight nod and walked away with the drinks.

Preet turned and smiled at Meher. He took a step towards her forcing her to step back inside the kitchen. He closed the door behind him, then took another step towards her.

"Wha...what are you doing?" stammered Meher. "Why have you closed the door?"

"You know what I just heard an aunty say about this haldi?" He pointed to the yellow spot on his cheek.

"What?" asked Meher.

"That who ever gets it on them will get married soon," grinned Preet.

"Ha!" said Meher. "Since when did you start believing in old-wives tales?"

Preet didn't answer right away. Instead, he continued to walk towards her until he had cornered her against the wall, both arms caging her as his palms rested on either side of her head. Meher gasped as he leaned down closer to her forcing their eyes to meet, then rubbed his cheek against hers. "I'll believe anything that tells me you and I are meant to be together Cinderella."

"Fairy tales are a lot different than reality Preet," said Meher.

"I'm old enough to know the difference between fantasy and reality Meher," smiled Preet. "And my reality is standing right here in front of me."

Meher could feel the color rising in her face. "I have to go," she whispered. She quickly ducked from under his arms and headed out of the kitchen. She had just made it to the door, when it flew open and Sam and Heer walked in.

"Hey Meher, I thought you were bringing the rest of the drinks," said Heer. "But when I looked back you weren't there. What happened?"

"I...uh...woh...," stammered Meher.

Sam nudged Heer with her elbow and pointed to Preet. He had opened the fridge and was doing his best to look busy finding something.

"Preet, what are you doing here?" asked Heer.

"I...uh...I was just getting something to drink," said Preet. He held up a can of soda as proof.

"You have haldi on your cheek," said Sam.

"I do?" said Preet. "Oh...yeah...wow...I must have gotten some on me when I hugged Veera."

"You have haldi on your cheek too," Sam said to Meher.

"Hmm...I wonder how that happened," teased Heer.

"You know Didi," said Sam. "My grandma used to say that if the wedding haldi rubs off on a single girl or boy it meant that they would be getting married next."

"You know I think I've heard something to that effect too," remarked Heer. "What a coincidence that we have 2 single people with haldi on them standing right before us."

Meher's face turned red as she watched Heer and Sam exchange a knowing smile. "I...uh...I have to...uh...excuse me...," she stammered before rushing out of the kitchen.

"What do you think Sam...did we walk in at the wrong time?" said Heer.

"Defintely," chuckled Sam.

"Bhabi...aap bhi na," Preet smiled shyly as he too quickly walked out of the kitchen.

"Hai Rabba, what to do with these two?" sighed Sam.

"Hmm," agreed Heer. One refuses to give up and the other refuses to say yes."

Fatimaaa such a beautiful update. Loved everything about the update. Meet is always too cute to handle. How much I love Heer and Veera in this story. The Veera of Adha Ishq is my most favourite and I am thinking of her after this chapter. Well I think I should stop here because if I start talking about Adha Ishq then I think I can never stop.

I just can't wait for the next part. Finallly some news will be out of the bag. Yeeesss.

UPDATE SOOON. LOVE YOU A LOT. Muwaaah. ❤️🤗

woohoo your fighting back 😎 that's the spirit Fatima - no comment means no update. I mean why waste precious time for ppl who don't have the ability to comment. Proud of you. 🤡 Even though you're updating next week - still you made your point! 🤗

I'll always read your story so long as it's filled with masti 🤣👍🏼

No lolipops I'm afraid...😭...but I love my dentist...she's super sweet.

Yeah readership is really down...don't know why...

I mean I can understand being busy.. am too...but people are not even bothering to hit the like button.

Oh well...I'll finish what I started...but I guess I'll retire after this FF. 😕

Yes...I can imagine Preet doing that too 😆

Actually this part, when I wrote it, it came out to like 60 Word pages long 😲 I had to break it into 2 parts due to I-F limitations...so the next part is a continuation.

Thanks for reading, liking, and commenting 🤗

Ah yes...every character of Aadha Ishq...is my favorite too 😃

The Junejas are a really nice tight bunch.

The more Meher sees this the more she feels she it would be wrong to cause a rift between Preet and his family.

Thanks for reading Nikhad 🤗
