Once upon a time there was a sun flower, left alone in a corner. The sunflower remain wilted because n one paid it any special attention but then a gardener came in and nourished the Sunflower so much that the flower started sparkling and glowing. Except one day the gardener just disappeared. The sunflower waited for the gardener for a day, a week and a month but the gardener never came. Sunflower wilted again except a year later a sun came into the sunflower's life.
The gardener had treated the sunflower with special care while he was with the flower but ultimately the sunflower needs sun to rise. When the sun came, the sunflower didn't wait for the gardener to come back. The flower was strong enough by just sun itself to glow. It was a miracle impossible that became possible.
Sonakshi didn't mention Suhana to Dev when she told the story, or when Dev questioned her twice about the Sun. She didn't because he didn't deserve the right to be told in her opinion. It's really really messed up that she not even after birth she had informed Dev about an existence of his child but she didn't do so because in her eyes, the gardener left on his own decision. In her eyes, the gardener didn't value the sunflower anymore so obviously the sun that would shine on the flower would be irrelevant to the gardener as well.
Previously when Dev broke up, he reached out to Sona to inquire if she was okay before he turned into a immature bratty teenager and asked her to be in his life in any other way possible. This time, after the last words between them, Dev didn't seek Sona out as she had been expecting him to. After all, Dev is the only one who can revert Sona out of her shell that hides her beneath all the expectations. Dev instead focused on the only broken promise of Sonakshi's, overlooking all that they endured together. Dev didn't seek out to clear misunderstandings regarding the house or prenup. He instead made things more messy and tangled in his last interaction.
Dev would have to earn he right of watering the sunflower again before he can get Suhana in his life.
How is that going to be accomplished, is something I am excited to see.
