PRESENT DAY
Seeing Geet's tears Yash and Arnav were very angry with Sushant and as he was Sid's choice, on Sid as well. Yash and Arnav explained the reason for their anger to Rishabh and Neel. Hence, Rishabh in cold and no nonsense voice told "Sid aur Sushant, tum dono ke kaaran Geet royi hai toh tum dono ko usse hassana bhi hoga." (Sid and Sushant, you are the cause for Geet's tears, hence its your responsibility to make her smile.)
"Magar bhai-sa, hum dono jaante bhi nahi woh kyun royi hai?" (But Bhai-sa, we don't even know the cause of her tears.) Sid asked confused.
"Woh humari problem nahi hai. Agar agle do ghante mein Geet apne kamre se bahaar nahi nikali aur hassi nahin, toh tum jaante ho Sid hum sab bhai tumhara kya haal karenge?" (That's not our problem. If in next two hours you are unable to get Geet out of her room and smile, you know what your 5 brothers can do Sid.)
Sid and Sushant kept knocking on Geet's door and saying "sorry" but it was of no use. In between Sid also lost his temper on Sushant and said, "Sushant maine tumse kahaa thaa ki zyaada acting ki baatein Geet se matt karna magar tumne meri baat suni nahi." (Sushant, I had warned you not to become too technical about acting but you didn't listen.)
"Sir mai bass apne flow mein beih gaya hai. I'm sorry!" (Sir, I'm sorry! I just went with the flow.)
Sid gave Sushant a muderous glare and again knocked on the door. Finally Sid took Sushant with him and left. After half an hour there was another Knock on the door and Yash said,"Gudiya, kya tum bahaar aa kar dekh sakti ho ki yeh "Suzy" kaun hai jo Neel bhai-sa ko pareshaan kar rahi. Maa bhi abhi ghar par nahi hain. Please." (Gudiya, can you please come out, there is someone by name of Suzy who is troubling Neel bhai-sa. Even Maa is not at home.Please.) First there was complete silence but after 5minutes door opened and Geet came out looking pale but with red eyes and red nose. She went to the living room and saw a young man and young woman dressed in green and black. Seeing Geet the woman at once came and held her hand saying, "See, dear this man is troubling me." Before Geet could say anything, the woman made her sit on the sofa and the song started...
"Suniye, Suniye aaj kal ki ladkiyon ka ..."

Sushant played the narrator as well as the boyfriend of the girl and Sid played the role of a girl. Unable to keep a straight face for long, first there was a slight smirk on Geet's face
then a smile and finally she started laughing much to the delight of all her brothers.
Thereby relaxing Geet and her brothers.
A MONTH LATER
It was a month since Maan had been away from India. Not only India, but from Delhi, his family and most importantly his miffed, beautiful and cute wife whose glimpse he so wanted to see for past month. But for sake of his country's honour and safety he had to forego meeting her. Maan during his this mission realised that he was not cut out for "on combat Commando" role as he missed Geet too much which was interfering with his job. And he was THE MAAN SINGH KHURANA, who believed in being perfect in everything. Hence he spoke to his seniors and it was decided that he will do an advisory role and train new cadets instead of going for combat operations as IBI refused to let their one of the most priced agent leave. Agent 010 had extremely quick reflexes and sharp brain which was needed in IBI. Maan also agreed as he could work from Delhi and would not have to leave their family business to his slowly health deteriorating grandmother and father. He knew Vicky could handle business in time of need but business was not his passion especially the construction business.
As soon as Maan entered his room in Khurana Mansion, he was greeted by a known yet unknown fragrance of lavender. Maan hollered, "CHANDU! CHANDU! CHANDDDUUU! "
"Ji Chote sahaab!" (Yes Sir!) Chandu came running.
"Mere peeche mere kamre mein kaun aaya thaa?" (Who entered my room in my absence?)
"Koi nahi sahaab." (No one Sir!)
"Chandu jhoot matt bolo." (Don't lie!)
"Nahi sahaab, hum jhoot nahi bol rahe hain." (No sir,I'm not lying!) Chandu said shivering.
"CHANDDDUUU! "
"Chandu, tumhei Dadimaa bula rahi hain."(Chandu, Dadimaa is calling you.) Vicky said coming into Maan's room. Once Chandu left, Vicky answered Maan's question, "Aapke peeche bhabhi aapke kamre mai aayeen theen." (In your absence, bhabhi came to this room.)
"BHABHI??"
"GEET bhabhi." Vicky left winking at Maan's direction.
Maan wanted to leave for Mumbai today itself hearing about Geet. But as it was Adi's wedding tomorrow, he could not hurt and disappoint his one and only true friend. Adi had fallen in love with a girl much younger than him, just like Maan. Adi's fiancee was from Mumbai and her name was Priyanka Manchanda or Pinky for short. Just then Savitri Devi came and saw Maan in deep thoughts. "Yeh kya Maan, Adi ke ghar se do baar phone aaya hai aur aap abhi bhi tyaar nahi hue hain. (Pointing to Maan's track pant and black vest)
Ek toh waise hi ek hafta kaa keh kar ek mahine baad camping trip se wapis aaye hain aur abb... Chaliye, chaliye jaldi tyaar huye! Yeh kurta pehan kar aayega, apna business suit nahi. SAMJHE!!" (What is this Maan, you are still standing like this? Twice we have got phone calls from Adi's family and you are still not properly dressed. You said you are going for a week for camping and returned after a month. Now hurry and get ready. Wear this kurta and not your business suit. Understood!!)Savitri Devi ordered. Then continued,"Bechari Sulochona akele sab sambhal nahi paa rahi hai. Hum aur Ranjit abhi jaa rahe hain, app aur Vicky tyaar ho kar saath-saath aayega. ABB JALDI KARIYE!" (Poor Sulochona, is unable to handle everything all alone. Ranjit and I are going now, you and Vicky get dressed and come quickly!) Savitri Devi nudged Maan in the direction of the washroom and then Savitri Devi left hurriedly to see to other things.
In this one month, lot happened in Geet's life as well, she was shown lot of boys. First her Neel bhai-sa introduced her to a boy named Gautam who was like Neel, religious, soft spoken and real "baal bhramchaari".
Geet liked his quite and soft nature a lot totally different from THAT MAAN SINGH KHURANA. But she was furious when he did not help a young girl who was being teased by some ruffians saying that, "Humari hinsa mein aastha nahi hai." (I don't believe in violence!)
Fuming Geet left him and went and helped the girl. Seeing Geet other people also came and thus saving the girl. Furious Geet went and told Neel, "Bhai-sa, jo vyokti ek naari ki raksha aur uske maan ki raksha nahi kar sakta woh apni patni ki raksha yaa patni ke maan ki raksha kya karega?" (Bhai-sa, the man who cannot protect a woman and fight for a woman's self respect, how will he protect his own wife and fight for her self repect?)
Next was a "chef" chosen by Yash, his name was Jignesh Patel (FICTITIOUS NAME!).
He was a master in making delicious recipes and cuisines but that was all. When Geet asked him which movie he likes? Jignesh said "Salaam Namaste", but only Saif's role as he is a chef in the film; then he spoke about film "Bawarchi" in which Rajesh Khanna is a cook etc. in half an hour Geet became aware of all Indian and Western movies which were based on chefs! Geet got so bored that when Yash came to check on Geet and Jignesh he found Geet sleeping and Jignesh just blindly talking to himself as Geet was in deep sleep.
Geet was recently introduced to Karan by Arnav. A highly westernized but extremely good hearted youngman.
He got Geet laughing within 5 minutes of their meeting much to Arnav's relief but was cause of unhappiness to other brothers as they found him too westernized. Geet and Karan's closeness was growing by leaps and bounds since two weeks they were introduced displeasing Rishabh, Neel, Yash, Veer and Sid. It was one evening after dinner when Geet knocked on Arnav's door. On opening the door, Arnav was shocked to see Geet standing with two mugs of steaming black coffee. Arnav asked anxiously, "What happened baby doll? Are you alright?"
"Yes bh...I mean bro."
"Then what's bothering you so late at night?"
"Bro, I have something to discuss with you."
"Come in." Arnav opened the door wider and let Geet enter. When both brother and sister were seated and Arnav was sipping his coffee he said, "Now tell me what's the problem?"
"Arnie, I like Karan a lot but not as my future husband or life partner but as a friend. I have never had a friend who was of an opposite sex due to our parents orthodox nature and my six brother's possessiveness." Anav quirked his eyebrow. "Yes you too Arnie. Therefore, I need your help. Can you please tell others that I like Karan so I don't loose him as a friend and our friendship continues."
"Also by saying this you will not have to be paraded in front of another set of wierdos!" Geet smiled at Arnav's correct assumption.
Geet has been in Delhi for a week now and enjoying November's pleasant weather. She is in Delhi for one of her best friend Pinky's wedding. Geet, Pinky and Meera were three very close friends in college and school called as "Angels". Meera was wise, sensible, mature, responsible, slender built with feminist idealogies, hence was called "Sparrow". Geet was intelligent, naive, innocent, graceful, beautiful and full of life hence was called "Swan". Pinky was carefree and was only interested in comforts of life i.e. eating and sleeping but had a sweet voice and hence was called called "Robin"! But three of them were very close no one was able to seperate them. Angel's closeness was often tried to be broken by their seniors called as the "Vixens" i.e. Naintara, Sasha and Tasha. Geet had come to Delhi with Radharani and Sid for Pinky's wedding. Geet often met Savitri Devi and Ranjit Singh as they were often invited to Khurana Mansion (KM). Although Geet never wanted to go but Radharani always pulled her along saying that Khuranas are close friends of Pinky's sasural and we have to be nice to them. Thankfully Maan was never in KM not even Vicky. Once during talking, Radharani mentioned that they have fixed Geet's alliance with a boy named Karan making Geet choke on her tea and spilling it on her dress. Before Savitri Devi could ask Nakul to guide Geet to nearest washroom, Vicky who had just come from office took her to a room on the upper floor. The room was large and magnificent but interiors were done in dull and nuetral shades of black, brown, beige etc. After Geet had cleaned her dress, she found Vicky waiting outside to guide her back. Vicky was expecting Geet to ask whom the room belonged to but she kept quite, disappointing Vicky.
Unknown to Vicky no one knew about Maan more than HIS Geet. Superficially Geet may pose to be angry and humiliated with Maan but in reality the reason was that not only her heart but also her spiritual being has accepted Maan as hers! Her brain, her ego, her pride and even her conscious mind may not agree to accept Maan but her heart, her soul (aatma) and her unconscious mind had accepted, has accepted and will continue to accept Maan as her life-partner, her soulmate and her husband. Otherwise why is it that Geet did not even once felt drawn romantically towards any of the youngmen her brothers made her meet. The truth is that Geet is more traditional than anyone in her family including her mom. Her mother is more into superstition than true religion. Neel is using religion to hide his attraction and love for Gauri. Geet knows the sanctity of "maang bharna with sindoor" and tying of "mangalsutra" around an unmarried Hindu girl's neck. Maan may have filled Geet's hair parting with vermilion and tied mangalsutra or a string of black beads around Geet's neck to calm his insecurity and jealousy but for Geet its a bond of next seven births. Geet is still applying sindoor hidden in her hair and still wearing her mangalsutra which fortunately looks more like a gold chain less like a mangalsutra!
The truth about Geet's sindoor and mangalsutra even Radharani is not aware of.
TWO HOURS LATER THAT DAY
Maan had just entered with Vicky at Adi's home when he was hit by a soft feminine body and the thaal (stainless steel plate) of rose petals she was carrying bounced upwards
and now the rose petals were falling around them like heavy shower of rain .
