The "Past" of Svetkara? Yes, that is an interesting twist. Svet meets Om after she comes to work for Oberoi empire. They date on the sly hardly anyone knows of it. But then one day, Om finds her with his Dad. Actually, HE sees them, they don't, but he breaks up with Svetlana. Tej never knew they had been an item. Hence the ever present under-current between SvetKara. He was also betrayed like his Mother.

There was a New Zealand film called "In My Father's Den". That was the movie debut of British actor Matthew McFayden who later acted as Mr. Darcy in the Keira Knightly version of Pride and Prejudice. (I was his fan since UK TV series Spooks). Anyway, in that story, Matthew's character's GF has a fling with his Dad. He finds out and leaves home when he is 18 and goes to the UK and becomes a journalist. Then 15 years later he comes back when his Father passes away and meets the girl again. Now she has a daughter. But who's child is she? It was an interesting story.

You know what? Even I thought married Omkara meeting Gauri would be a GREAT plot twist. He marries Svetalana, but leaves her and moves to another city, where he meets Gauri. He has no interest in her, but eventually starts to fall for her. She falls for him too, and just when he is about to tell her of his past, BHAM his "Wife" comes to town. Gauri hates Om when she finds out he is married and thinks he was playing with her feelings. Rich, spoilt, entitled guy etc etc. She will accuse him of being a cheat. Om wants to explain but she won't listen. Svetlana plays her games as usual. Calls Om "Darling" in front of Gauri and holds his arm in that clawing way that she does! I can SO see all this play out! 🤣 I think this will be a great move, if the makers are brave enough to go there. I think it's fine, coz it's not like Om wants her. SHE wants him! Hope Harneet is reading this! 😆 After all they DID show SvetKara. So that means they knew they had fans! 😆
