Its not a matter of them finding it outdated or not, it is what it is and if someone is practicing in actual life they are going to follow it regardless. So yeah the "many muslims" that you are talking about are not "muslims" by the book or definition. I guess you are a non-muslim to so non-chalantly make such insinuations.

Anyways, i don't wanna turn this into a religious debate, was just curious. Thank you for replying.

Sholay was flop for first week. It was because of AB, Sippy did not remove it from theatre. Luckily next week was Ganesh festival which is huge in Maharashtra. The dialogs of movie were released and heard in every pandal. And history in Bollywood was created.

Karz wavers between semi hit and flop. Depends on who is speaking.

Good job on showing the hypocrisy of people like you who only denounce Islamists for P.C purposes.

Sholay in 1st week was already a potential hit. We were in Delhi at that time...there was huge line for tickets and people were begging for extra tickets and some guys were selling tkts in black!

In the 70s, 80s, 90s the first week only did not decide the fate of the movie like it does nowadays
Films ran for 25 weeks, 50 weeks and became silver and golden jubilees

Sholay was such a rage that the dialogues were on everybody's lips. Even we know them till now by heart, especially Gabbar's dialogues 😆
Guys in Delhi used to ride pillion like Veeru and Jai...one would stand up behind the other driving the bike. 😆
Mehbooba O Mehbooba was a rage, every scene,. every dialogue of Sholay was etched in people's memory
We watched it 3 times in the theater.

As for Karz it came later but at least in my hometown Kolkata I can say it was a superhit!
It ran for 2-3 months and we watched it twice, loved Simi as the villain and the songs were very good too...also the reincarnation theme
Just because a movie didnt run well in Bombay doesnt mean it was a flop
These Sippys and Rishi all have memory loss, ask us general public who have seen the craze for Sholay and the liking for Karz when these films actually released!

Rishi never wanted to get marry, be it Neetu or anyone. He was forced to marry her because she got pregnant. They had a tumultuous marriage which affected Ranbir deeply.
