Hm. I didn't get a direct scene 🤣 But thank God that despite knowing what had transpired and that his father was insulted, Kunal's first concern was still Karan and, of course, Naina both of whom were being forced into this relationship. Agar ye Maasi Maa na hoti toh he could have directly talked to Karan 🤔 Btw, did anyone else feel that Sandhya sounded like she was talking for Kunal more than trying to convince Karan? Because, honestly, Karan looked anything but convinced - and am sure Kunal saw how unwilling he actually is for all of this (btw, sword ho, jo bhi ho, Karan only needs the chaata! 😉)
And then, Sandhya manipulated Kunal very cunningly. It's not that she twisted anything, that she tried to instigate Kunal against the Solankis, no - she cleverly played his love for his brother. Honestly, I was annoyed by what she said but I already felt that NK had this in mind, too, when he proposed his shart - thinking, Who would marry Karan knowing about all of his issues? Sadly enough, it is a truth of our society that people like Karan who are handicapped in any way or form, do have difficulties in finding a life partner, let alone a suiting one. Still, it should be their decision to do, freely and without any pressure. And chatt se, Kunal was caught in the trap set by Sandhya - it's not that he was being mean or anything pondering over her words, but that he was thinking about the reality, or what he perceived as reality, and his worries suddenly changed their directions. It had been on his mind, earlier, that this was unfair to Naina not only because this was happening due to conditions but also because Naina didn't know about Karan. Yet, now what occupied his mind was: This might be actually good for Karan.
Now, he is caught between Meghna and their vachans - and his brother and that which he thinks might be the best for him. As we already know, Kunal will choose to support NK. From the segments, it seemed like he will do so because his Dad was insulted; but the greater reason for him to do so is that he think this will be good for his little brother. This might bring happiness to him. And Naina's a good girl, Meghna's sister, she might be good for Karan - honestly? I didn't see this coming! 😆 It's a great twist by the CVs! And I must say, Sandhya knows how to play her game 😛
"Kunal, tum bade ho. Tumhe apne chote Bhai ka khayal rakhna ho ga - jaise Meghna Naina ka rakhti hai." - I think that was the Hook, Line, Sinker 😉 Sandhya's good with words 😆 And am curious to see how much Kunal will follow these words; might cause some interesting conflicts in the future!
