Bhaabi or Annika?

I don't whether it is just me but Omkara calling Annika "bhaabi" sounds a bit weird. 😛 Maybe it will take some getting used to... but I loved the way Om says Annika. Even before there was an inkling that Shivaay was getting attracted to her, Om always says her name with so much respect I find Bhaabi to be a bit unnatural.

I know it is as a sign of respect and to show that he has accepted her as his sis - in - law. For Rudy baby it comes out as totally natural.. but for Om maybe because they are the same age or something..

Just a random observation that I wanted to share. Not nitpicking stuff. 😳😛

I think its new to our ears that's why... Initially I felt difficulty in grasping Anika calling Shivay because I was used to hearing Billu jii from her...Guess slowly we will warm upto Omkara calling Anika as Bhabhi ..

Rudy always saw a sister figure and bhabhi in Anika so may be thts why it comes naturally in his case.. 😛

I think it's truly sweet. And it does show an acceptance of Anika's status/presence in their lives. That's especially important now that Pinky is trying her best to oust Anika. Anika needs all the support she can muster. Having her bro-in-law accept her as "bhabhi" is certainly a step in the right direction.

Yeah, I found it weird because Om calls Shivaye by name, so he should call Anika also by name only, not bhabhi IMO. It's not necessary to call bhabhi to give respect. True, It looks unnatural.

It could be because Om have never address Shivay as Bhaiyyaa... toh esliye Om calling Anika as Bhabhi sound a little funny...😆

That's it! that's why it sounded odd. He doesn't say Bhaiyya cause I guess he is closer in age to Shivaay. Annika must be the same age or younger. Usually associate bhaabi with someone older in tellyville ..😛
