The precap today was just like any other cliched scene in a romantic saga.. rich boy and poor girl in love but parents don't approve..they try to separate them in every way possible.. the mother treats the girl like crap and reminds her of her true aukaad.. can't even count the number of times this type of scene has been showcased.. too many to count..
What got to me was when Pinky called her roadside dust.. It made me remember the phrase
"ashes to ashes, dust to dust"...which basically means "We come from dust; we return to dust."
Why do people forget sometimes that there was a time we human beings were actually just a small ball of cells inside our mother's womb? We all were just ashes and dust till life was infused into us through divine intervention.
No one is bigger or better than the other. We all have the same organs inside our body. We have the same colour of blood coursing through our veins. we all win, we all lose. We all laugh, we all cry. A human being is a human being.
The passage of time is a very strange thing. One single minute has the power to change your whole course of life. Today she may be coming out of a six figured car and showing Anika her aukaad using her expensive glares.. but she needs to remember that in her yesterdays, she was also the woman who was not polished and sophisticated enough for the Oberoi name. She was also the woman who had to live her whole martial life feeling she was never enough and a disappointment to the khandaan. She was also classed as dust that needs to be pushed under the carpet by the society which included her husband.
I would have expected someone who has been through this grievance already to have at least some level of understanding to Anika's situation..'Alas not..
