I see I can relate to vividha and her dilemma more than anyone..
Having seen arranged marriage of someone break due to a very simple issue of the girl wanting to finish her studies and the entire clan of the guy's family not liking it and wanting her to give them a heir..the guy though great or mahan like ravish asked her to keep mum and not tell his family about continuing jer studies.. He wanted to support her..but was not letting her study either..
His words and deeds were pole apart.
but the family came across as shady and the alliance broke just within 3 months of the marriage ceremony..After the annulment the girl is very happily pyrsuing her studies she left behind due to marriage and is more happier than she was when she was married to that "good guy".. better and healthy

Vividha is my favourite.

She's compassionate and caring and hates hurting people. But she is strong too and has always been open about her love for Atharv. She does feel bad about what Ravish went through because of her but now she has found the strength to put all that behind her and start a new life with Atharv who has silently supported her in everything.

Vividha deserves happiness.

Wow thnx for sharing the incident. Brave is the girl coz i have seen so many girls giving up on their dreams so that they can be good bahus. Needless to say its very difficult fir such prople to be happy in life coz they can never forget their dreams. But time is changing, specially in india where girls are getting more aware of their rights n not only their duties.
Vv has done favor to herself as well as ravish's family by breaking the alliance. There was no point being the second suman of the house coz their marriage would still be loveless. No one would have geen happy there.

Defintely. Thers no point getting married just because that old uncle or aunty got the alliance for his/her entertainment..nonneed to get married because ur biological clock is ticking or because u have another female sibling.. girls shoudl get married if they wish to.. and this attitude should be encouraged

Thats a very interesting thought anu. Completely agreed that a girl or a boy should get married only when they want to.

I don't know why people see divorce is the bad thing? It is an act which will free a person from the lifetime sadness. People don't understand that living in this unwanted marriage, not only affects you but also affects your children (if you have any) too. I know this because I know someone who has grown up his entire life seeing their parents fight, even though his perents love each other a lot, and now he is avoinding to get married since he doesn't want to end up like his parents.

In our society ppl tend to think of what ifs more.
So very few take the risk to pursue what they want ..

It's always better to leave than stay in an unwanted marriage
