I have a feeling that they are divorced. Even if Dev files for custody, Sona should throw those prenup papers on his face in the court and tell him that this was precisely the reason why she did not tell the Dixits about her daughter. She can very tell the court that she did not want to be blamed by her ex-in-laws of trying to grab wealth using her daughter. I am sure the court cannot then think of even a joint custody let alone sole custody. The impact of Ishwari's plan will then hit Dev to the fullest and he will realize what a cheapo mother he had.
