Chapter 20 - Continued

The show was a tremendous success. Angels' executives were delighted to see the results and wished Arnav and Mr. Mehta the best for the next phase.

In all show night was a great achievement followed by dinner party. The slow music was still on and everyone was relieved and was enjoying the after party...

Khushi and gang slowly moved towards the dance area next to the drinks counter.

Initially Khushi, Ananya, Amit, Mark, Harry and Jia all danced to a fast number and went to grab a drink... Khushi was a great dancer so should really manage to dance gracefully in the long gown and high heels as well... Arnav was watching Khushi's every move.

Suddenly one of Angels' executives, Cathy pulled Arnav to the dance floor. Arnav could not say no. By the time he realizes, Cathy had already walked with him on the dance floor. Slow music had just started and Arnav and Cathy started dancing. Khushi and gang came back and Khushi was surprised to see Arnav dancing with Cathy.

"Wow, I wish I was in place of Cathy. He dances so well. I love his suave moves!!" Ananya was blabbering as usual.

"Who is Cathy? Khushi asked seriously. She was seeing Cathy for the first time today...

"Oh, she is Angel's CEO Mark's younger sister and one of the executives in Angels. She is young and smart. Another Harvard graduate just like ASR, his junior. They go long way. Cathy has a big crush on ASR and always looks for opportunity to be with him... I have heard some stories..." Ananya enlightened Khushi with all the details and internal gossip...

Khushi was beyond jealous now. She was feeling very angry and decided to look away.

Arnav managed to stop dancing after the song was over and excused himself... He had seen Khushi watching him with angry face and was more than happy to see her reaction... He could clearly see that she was jealous and angry! He smirked as usual...

Another slow song and Khushi's gang was getting back to the dance floor... Before Khushi realizes, she was pulled into arms for a dance by Arnav...

"Jealous, are we? But you don't have to be... You look the best of all in this dress even better than those models Khushi..." Arnav asked the same question Khushi had asked him long time ago...

"No way, I don't care and I am not jealous..." Khushi shrugged her shoulders but did not look into his eyes... Arnav did not want to tease her further and dropped the topic right there... He would rather focus on them, he decided...

"Ok... My lady in red, you look much more beautiful in this dress than I had imagined" He complimented Khushi and smirked. He assumed she had already guessed it...

"What? You sent this dress? And I thought it was wrong delivery by mistake" Khushi felt she could have easily guessed it if she would have thought through about it... But she was super busy with last minute checks and had hardly few minutes to get ready, she could not think at all... Red is his favorite color... Urrh I should have guess it, she was now embarrassed.

"Correction baby, I just did not send any dress for you... I designed it exclusively for you for tonight and sent it along with accessories... See it matches with my shirt as well. Come on Khushi, you won't fit in so perfectly in any dress, would you? Arnav asked smirking at her innocence...

"Thank you so much Arnav, I loved the dress so much and the accessories... No wonder they are the best since you designed and handpicked everything for me... And yes, even my dress matches the shade you are wearing" She realized it all now, moved a step closer to him and reciprocated his affection for her by whispering "Thank You" in his ears. He would always look out for her and she felt overwhelmed...

"But how did you know my measurements?" Oops... Khushi asked a question without even thinking and immediately regretted and even felt embarrassed and so shy!! He was the best designer she had ever met, so her question was irrelevant... He knew his job too well...

"Baby, wrong question. Do you really want me to answer that? Maybe not today but I would love to explain it in details some other time how I know your exact measurements! Who knows it might requires some demo as well!" Arnav whispered back in her ears almost kissing her cheeks... Arnav did not leave any chance to flirt now...

He made a bold move and loved her reaction. He felt he needed to... It was high time...

Is he flirting again with me again? Of course yes, and it was a very direct claim he had made. Khushi thought about it and was blushing heavily now... He was still close watching every reaction from her face and enjoying it... She couldn't look up knowing he was smirking at her...

"Khushi, you nose is red" Arnav teased her as usual, flicked her nose and walked away once the song was over... Khushi was so lost, blushed furiously and was all red...

"What did he say to make you blush so much, Khushi? Did he compliment you on your dress? What is going on?" Ananya bombarded Khushi with her questions...

Was her blush so visible? Khushi decided to walk in the dim area little away from dance floor. She could feel Arnav's eyes still on her... She could feel her heart beating so loudly and haywire after a long time... And it was again only him...

Only he could make her feel butterflies in her tummy or make heart beat so crazily, she knew...
