Not long ago, Muskaan Mehani was reported to be unhappy with her character in Dill Mill Gayye and she even contemplated quitting the show. However, she then claimed to be misquoted. No wonder that episode irked her producer. Since then Muskaan has been choosing her words carefully.

So, was that report false? She chides, "I did speak to that particular scribe but never did I tell that I wanted to quit the show. It's a matter of the past and I don't want to talk on it anymore."

When asked whether she's happy with Dill Mill Gayye now, Muskaan replied, "I was happy doing the show from day one. Why should there be any discontent? After all, it's the no.1 show on Star One."

Dill.. is undoubtedly the No.1 show on Star One but compared to the other top dailies on different channels, its TRP is not all that great. Muskaan says, "I've never understood the business of TRPs. Often it's the TRPs that determine the future course of the show. In fact, tracks are altered in accordance with the TRPs.. Dill Mill Gayye too is going this phase. Trust me, today Dill Mill Gayye is not like how it used to be."

Isn't this frustrating for you? "Indeed it is but television actors have got used to it now. I've been in this industry for nearly four years and so you learn to take things in your stride. Besides, if we raise our voices, it would only create trouble for us. Our hands are tied," says Muskaan with a resigned look on her face.
