i was reading that black buck case
so i really want to know has anyone got punished by court for killing an endagered animal in india ever

Yes After Saif got into trouble for killing endangered black buck in 1998 in Rajasthan, his father Pataudi Sr did the same thing in 2005 in Haryana and was arrested despite his connections to the congress party and several attempts to by police to bury the case bcz of pressure from animal rights activists

In 2015 six people connected to that hunting trip were convicted for three yrs in prison, Pataudi Sr died in 2011

What's with this family?

Pataudi Sr used to go hunting every week, whenever he got into trouble his congress connections helped him, but this time a whistle blower helped nab him...

The gun he used to kill was owned by Soha Ali Khan who was issued that weapon in 1996 when she was 18 but the legal age for gun permit is 21, she was held guilty later and her gun license was cancelled

And we all know about Pataudi Jr

In an other case in 1997, Pataudi and his wife Sharmila Tagore were booked when they shot some 100 migratory birds in Kashmir's Hokersar wetland, despite the ban on bird hunting.

They wanted to keep feeling like they were Nawabs of the olden times. It was probably difficult to see themselves as the normal citizens and they want to hold onto the Nawabi feeling in their head. Plus show off, of course. Unfortunately, the birds and animals had to pay the price for these people's sick brains. But what else can we expect from these royals who would throw their own people under the bus just to ass kiss the angrezi rulers.
