Chapter 19 - Working with ASR!

Not Just Khushi and Arnav but everyone at Mehta House was crazy busy.

Meetings before meetings and after meetings to discuss any small thing, immediately brainstorm and work out solutions for any issues before they escalate, work late hours and continuous testing and achieving mile stones - They all were doing everything it takes to work as team and make sure project is successful.

It was different positive energy and spirit when working with real ASR! Everyone praised his energy levels and talent to spot any small intricate details.

No one wanted to miss the chance to work with ASR and learn under him. He was tremendous force to recon with...

No wonder he was Asia's number one Business tycoon at such young age and was on a mission to conquer Europe. He wanted to carve his niche in Europe with this project and he was on the right path!

His work ethics and energy had strongly rubbed all his project team...

Everyone was thriving and striving under him...

Khushi too was no exception. She really enjoyed working with Arnav this time. So this was real ASR everyone talked about and so desperate to be with and work under, she thought. No wonder, any one would love to work with him, she knew... Especially girls, as is he looked so handsome and when he was busy working his eyes looked laser sharp, his face would shine when he resolves something and that confidence to die for... Why she had to open her big mouth and say back then that I would never work with you? She really regretted it and yet happy she could work under him now...

Khushi was also doing her best with things she was expert at. She would surprise everyone by ordering variety of breakfast for early meetings and would order dinner whenever team used to work late.

Arnav had seen Mr. Mehta had given lot of liberties to Khushi to take many administrative decisions and approved a certain budget for her to use monthly. Khushi was making use of opportunity smartly.

Like the other day, team was exhausted and yet needed to work early morning in the office with India team. She arranged dinner and movie in office and rented out some sleeping bags for team to rest at work... So many times she tried to arrange different activities like games, quick pool party in the common gym area next to their office building etc. to provide dosage of fun while working... She even arranged board games for employees to use...

ASR sure was impressed. He thought to add the fun dose to his work style as well, once he goes back to India!

He also observed Khushi no longer hesitated to give her opinion. She would speak her mind openly and suggest something during design discussions while taking notes.

This time there assignment was on Fall Collection and they were discussing about jackets. During discussions, they were talking about packable puffer jackets, the latest trend that was invented in Japan swept Europe and America for its style, very less weight and can be folded in a very small bag...

Khushi openly put forward her thoughts saying she had seen plain or mostly two tone puffer jackets and they could introduce bold prints on fall color jackets and it would bring a new touch to the trend of puffer jackets...

Everyone immediately appreciated her innovative idea and Arnav happily incorporated it into the collection designs...

Arnav had heard Khushi informing Mr. Mehta about some classes and going two hours early on Wednesday. So she was continuing her education or some courses! How many more surprises are there in stock, he wondered...

Mr. Mehta gave her the best platform to flourish in her job which Arnav realized he had failed in the past to do for her... She was extremely talented and hardworking and superfast learner!! But he no longer dwelled in the past and encouraged her to speak her mind while working with her!!

Khushi never failed to surprise him... She cared for him so much... She would remind him of his meals, tablets and made sure he eats them on time... She would be herself mostly around him too joking, making fun of him or sharing something about her classes, talking about her roommates and all... As if he was always part of her life and besties!!

Arnav really liked how she would get extra food from home and offer it to both Mr. Mehta and him... And every time it would turn out to be one of his favorite dishes like puri and vegetables, kheer, veggie sandwiches... She made sure he did not miss home food...

He was just loving the comfort zone they had developed while working with each other... There was no hesitation or bad old memories lingering between them... Great Start, he applauded himself and her!!

Initial 2 months phase was closing in on soon. With two more weeks they would be completing major designing for Angels' fall collection and also have small Fashion Show with selective designs.

Ananya and Amit were both junior designers at Mehta House. They both were equally enjoying their new assignment under Arnav and were learning a lot. Even their couple of designs were selected for the project and they were both going crazy over it!!

In all the project was moving forward pretty smooth and so was Arnav and Khushi's relationship...

And Arnav and Khushi had no rivalries or arguments and taunts like they used to have before. Neither had any awkwardness while working together nor any issues while mingling together after hours with colleagues. They both had grown and were behaving as mature adults and rather enjoying each other's company even if it was in a group... They never really had time to go out themselves nor did Arnav really initiate it yet...
