Sahil & Shivaay rocked!
From the moment Sahil gave Shivaay that waist hug to the pinky promise moment, it was the highlight and salvation of the episode for me.
For me as well. It was so intuitive of cutie Sahil that his Taddibaaz 'Jiju' needed a hug to make him feel better. He is such an amazing and lovable kid who gives his affection freely when someone needs it - just like his sister- asking nothing in return.
His innocent hug from the heart made everything better for Shivvay and actually was a solace for him.
Once again for the better of the Family he had become the 'bad one', the ruthless, uncaring and cold hearted Shivvay who did not even care for the feelings of a little child. Once again Shivvay sacrificed his image and his love to keep the Family safe. Once again he was alone - shunned for hurting her innocent trusting heart. But he was used to being the 'BAD GUY' , it was not a new thing for him. Shivvay never expects anyone to think good about him and has resigned his fate to always being the 'bad' one.
But then this little angel saw through the mask he wore - the mask that was in place to fool the world that it did not matter to him what people thought about him. The mask that hid all his pain and his longing to be loved and called good at heart. And that is what the angel proclaimed him to be - a good man and an awesome brother. He raised him up from the status of a Devil from the depths of darkness to an Angel who did good without expecting a reward for it.
Sahil has seen Shivvay's true self and his tender heart. This boy is going to be Shhivvay's best ally and his equal. We are going to see many discussions about serious topics between these two - Man-to-Man.
Shivvay normally had Annika in his corner when things looked bad and bleak but today Sahil took over from where Annika left off. He was Shivvay's support and his comfort. And what better way to celebrate that comfort than with a bowl of ice cream (comfort food...lol)
Shivvay has 'his own little Family' now. His circle of support, love, pinky promises and magic hugs that come with no strings attached and nothing expected in return. All these beautiful emotions are given freely and without any reservations. ❤️
For all that he may have sacrificed at the 'Family Altar' all these years, without expecting a boon or reward from the Gods, the Gods have smiled in benevolence and have given him a "khidkitod Family by marriage' as a boon.
Watching Anika hurt & sobbing, Shivaay feeling so helpless, and Tia and Mrs Kapoor's smirk of satisfaction (aaarrghhh!!!) was nothing short of heartbreak.
I had tears in my eyes for Shivvay today. I could feel his pain, his suffering, his helplessness and his anger (at being made to dance like a puppet). I do not envy Mrs. Kapoor becuz when he reaches the end of his patience we have seen how dark this man can become. Annika IS is Family now and so is Sahil. This was a direct attack on his respect and his pride.
After all that, it was heart warming, to say the least, to watch the bond between Shivaay, the big time businessman, and the innocent street child, Sahil. Amazing how one's status in life becomes a non sequitur when the only agenda is the need to bring solace to a fellow human.
Beautiful scene so well portrayed by the actors. Shabas , bravo, kudos 👏
