"Aww" Sameera pouted. "Look at how sad my baby is" she stroked Crystal who was sitting peacefully in her arms.

"Stop babying Crystal. The stupid cat already thinks she's some princess" Anisa shook her head.

"Di be quiet. Don't say anything to my baby ok?"

Geet just then entered passing them a smile. "hello" she ticked crystal beneath her neck making her purr in satisfaction.

"Bhai nahi aaye" Sameera asked looking behind.

"He's coming"

"Coming?" Sameera rolled her eyes. "Here I thought he'd be coming with you since you both hardly stay away from each other"

"Sameera its nothing like that ok?" she pouted.

"Oh please bhabhi admit it bhai se door nahi reh sakte" she nudged Geet with her shoulder.

"You're impossible"

"I know" she chuckled.

"I want to play with crystal now" Simrah walked over demanding to play.

"Dream on kiddo. Last time tujhe di mere baby ko bahar chodke chali aayi" Sameera scoffed narrowing her gaze on Simrah.

"Hello" Geet tapped her shoulder. "Whats your age and hers? Stop being so mean"

"Bhabhi don't. you sound like badi ma then"

Geet chuckled and bit down on her tongue seeing badi come from behind, she cleared her throat and crouched down before Simrah. "Princess would you play with maami?"

"My names not princess maami, its Simrah"

"She's so dumb like you di" Sameera commented. "Bhabhi's calling you lovingly"

Geet looked at her shaking her head.

"Sameera leave my baby alone"Anisa told her.

"Anyways bhabhi you didn't let me finish. Sit down" Sameera held her hand making her sit, Geet stretched her arms for Simrah and placed her on her lap.

"Badi ma ne pata hai ek baar..."

"Kya kiya Sameera?"

Sameera stilled and turned around, her eyes widened and her lips pouting. "Woh.. um.." she passed a nervous smile and tried to gather herself "main toh aapki tareef kar rahi ti badi ma" she responded in an over enthusiastic tone.

"Tumhari tareef bohut accha se janti hoon" she narrowed her gaze on Sameera to which only smiled nervously though mentally she rolled her eyes. She noticed the atmosphere tense whenever badi ma had come always and realized how much everyone respected and feared badi ma, she herself had come in their category now.

"Maan ne aaye?" Saira asked coming into the hall.

"Woh aa rahe hai" Geet answered softly.

"Aa rahe hai nahi bhabhi aagaye" Anisa gestured to look behind, she turned her head and looked as he walked in.

"Bhabhi bhai ko ghoorna band kijiye" Sameera nudged her, Geet dipped her head lowering her gaze, chewing on her lip trying to keep herself from blushing.

"hey baby" Maan settled next to Geet and caressed Simrah's cheek.

"Maama I'm not baby" Simrah responded frowning. "I'm a big girl now" she stretched her arms showing him how big she was.

"Has my baby gone big now?" he took her and brought her to his lap pulling her cheeks.

"I'm very disappointed at you" she glared, everyone laughed hearing her, badi ma rolled her eyes.

"Sameera aur Anisa ke tarah usse bhi spoil karo taa ke bade ho kar woh bhi zabaan ladhai sab ke saat" Badi commented.

"Di bacchi hai" Saira defended.

"Bacchi? Zabaan khenchi ki tarah chalti hai aur tum usse bacchi bula rahe ho?"

"Whats she saying?" Simrah asked Maan quietly as she was a little weak in hindi.

"She's saying Simrah is a good girl"

"So khenchi means good girl?" She asked, Geet chuckled listening to her, she was just too adorable.

"Hmm" Maan nodded inwardly laughing.

"bade nani" Simrah called.

"kya hai?"

"Aap.. aap bhi khenchi hai" she stated so proudly, Geet covered her mouth with her palm and looked down as Badi ma glared at Simrah, whereas everyone else burst out laughing.

Badi ma shook her head. "Teri waje se sab aise hai? Koi izzat nahi hai" She looked at Saira who stifled her smile and nodded. Badi ma walked away heading into the kitchen and Saira followed suit.

"Oh my days. Did you see her face?" Sameera laughed like a maniac still seeing badi ma's shocked face then her glaring.

"Do you have to laugh like a witch?" Anisa asked seeing Sameera having a laughing fit.

Sameera laughed even louder, Geet looked at her stunned at her laughter she looked at Maan as if asking him is that her real laugh to which he nodded.

"Alright that's enough" Maan said and noticed Crystal on her lap. "Do you always have to carry that fur ball?"

"Well do you have to carry that fatty?" she gestured to Simrah.

"Maama" Simrah whined.

"Leave her alone" Maan told her.

"Bhai you leave my baby alone"

"One day that cats going to come under my car"

Sameera glared at him, Maan only smirked.

"That's it" she muttered and released Crystal towards Maan, Maan pushed back as if wanting to move but only hit the sofa back whilst Geet bit down on her lip seeing him do so.

"Sameera" he glared at her as Crystal moved away towards the exit.

"That's for saying that about my baby" she turned her head showing him attitude.

"Its seriously not funny Geet" Maan said as he saw her grinning a little too much.

"I wasn't laughing" she responded.

"Chalo sab nashta tayyar hai" Saira called them over.

The day passed in the mansion, from getting to know them to helping in the kitchen, Geet did it all enjoying as she came to know more and more about her family. Maan had gotten himself busy in his work as he didn't have nothing much to do right now since Geet was in the kitchen helping out.

He walked up stairs before going to the outhouse to work and knocked on Saira's door, once she'd called out he entered to see badi ma also sat with her.

"Kuch kaam hai?"

Maan decided it'll be good if he tells them together so he entered and sat on the edge before Saira.

"Mujhe aap logoun se baat karni hai. Do teen hafte baad main busy ho jaunga toh maine Geet se kahan ke agar woh kaam karna chahegi woh kar sakti hai" he started.

"Maan dekhiye hume aitraaz nahi hai ke woh kaam kare lekin abhi woh nayi hai, usse ghar ke riwaaz, todh tareeke seekhne dijiye" Badi ma responded before anyone else had spoken.

"Badi ma office ya koi school nahi jayega kaam karne" he replied. "Woh ghar pe baccho ko sikhana chahti hai. Jaise woh karti ti uske maayke mein. Qur'an tilawat." He continued.

"Waqt kahan hai aur jaga..." She asked.

"Hamare ghar hai badi ma, aur waqt kahan hai matlab? Aap hi sab se behtar jaante hai, Allah ke naam pe kuch karna waqt nahi dekhte"

She turned her head clenching her teeth. "Hum sirf puch rahe te Maan"

"Waise bhi maine aap se nahi pucha, maine ammi ki haan ke liye pucha"

"Badoun ke izzat karna sikho. Saira ne sab ko bighar ke rakh diya" she stood her her feet and stated firmly, Maan looked away holding onto his temper as she stormed out.

"Maan" Saira called him gently.

"Ammi don't" he grumbled.

"Gussa kyun hogaye? Di toh sirf puch rahi ti?"

"Ammi koi itna puch ta hai kya? Badi ma ko sab kuch se aitraaz hai"

She chuckled. "Accha yeh sab chodho pehle yeh batao Geet kaisi lagi?" she asked him.

"Jaise bhi hai bohut acchi lagi" he told her expressing himself, he'd never hidden any emotion from her and now Geet.

"Khush ho na?" she asked caressing his cheek lovingly.

"Haan" he smiled softly. "Bohut khush hoon"

She couldn't be more happier and hugged him tightly. "Bas tu khush reh mujhe aur chinta nahi hai" she knew how much he'd gone through and he'd never once complained and saira couldn't be more happier seeing his happiness.

"Allah tum dono ko khush rakhe" she pressed a kiss to his forehead.

He smiled then excused himself as he's got some work to catch up on.

Geet looked around as they set the table for dinner but Maan wasn't there. "Ammi woh nahi aaye?" she asked Saira as she'd last seen him going into saira's room a couple of hours back.

"Maan toh outhouse chala gaya, woh kaam karne gaya hai. Maine phone kiya ta utaya nahi"

"Main jaa ke dekhti hoon" she offered.

"Pehle kha toh lo" Saira gestured.

"baad mein khalungi" she replied.

"Tanda ho jayega, main khana wahan bejwati hoon taa ke dono ko aana jaana na padhe" Saira suggested to which Geet nodded and left wondering why Maan didn't respond to Saira's call also how come he hadn't come to eat.

As she entered she bumped into Alisha who ignored her and walked away, Geet wondered for a moment what was she doing here but brushed the thoughts away and went to look for Maan.

She sighed shaking her head wondering where he was, she'd checked all the room upstairs, and the kitchen so where was he?

She chewed her lip for sometime wondering where he might be. "Sab hi jaga toh dekh li" she muttered then remembered the gym and headed there.

"Gym mein bhi nahi" she looked around and turned to leave and noticed the adjacent room, the one sided mirror allowed her to see him swimming but not him to see her. She stood there for a moment simply watching him as he swam, cutting through the water with his muscular arms, his jaw tight and his eyes only focusing on swimming.

She turned her head realizing she was staring a little too much and bit her lower lip blushing to herself. "Meri thodi galti hai woh itne handsome jo hai" she uttered beneath her breath reasoning with herself. She was about to leave but then remembered dinner was ready and it was going to get cold if he didn't come so she opened the door and slowly walked in.

Maan turned his head stopping and looked at Geet as she walked in with her head dipped down.

He concentrated on her face for a moment and wondered why she wasn't even looking at him then realized she may be just shy with him bare like this.

"Geet" he called and turned around fully facing her. "Sharm aa rahi hai?" he asked.

Geet glanced at him. "Nahi.. dekhiye khana laga rahi hoon kapre pehan ke aajaiye" she informed him quickly and turned to leave.

"Geet suno"

She stopped but didn't turn around.

"Mujhe aise hi aana padhega maine kapre nahi laaye"

She closed her eyes shaking her head trying to keep herself from blushing but failed and ran out, Maan laughed watching her reaction and swam another lap before getting out.
