What is Milind’s romantic quotient?

Warning: This is a rather long post. So read it only if u have patience and the time. I sort of came out of semi-retirement from the forum to write this.

Of late, we've been hearing a lot about the proposed 'romantic' moments between our beloved pair.

But, what is our take on the romatic quotient of our rather unconventional Milind?

So far, he hasn't behaved in the typical flowers and chocolates kind of romantic. Somehow, that's Neev, Puskar (KS), Ayan (Kit) Anurag (KYZ) style.

If you cast your mind back, there are no moments like this between MP and thank the lord for that. If my memory serves me right, to date, Milind hasn't even bought Prachi a piece of jewellery, let alone flowers.

But, what he's given her surpasses all this silly stuff. How can ayone forget the odds he beat just to get her a saree in that terrible flood? That was the turning point for Prachi and her feelings for Milind. The saree, of course, is merely a symbol. The dangers that Milind undertook to get this insignificant piece of cloth is nothing for him compared to his acknowledgement of Prachi inner beauty and innocence. Which is perhaps why he chose a White saree instead of a coloured one!

That saree also is the medium by which he first acknowledges his growing attraction for Prachi. Remember how he stopped in his tracks when he spied her tying it on? The following scene when he ties up the strings of her blouse will forever remain in my memory because it was deeply romantic and erotic at the same time!

Admitted, it's a tried and tested one but somehow this scene stood out as it brought out all the aspects of romantic love and physical attraction.

So, if Milind isn't candle-light, flowers, chocolates and balloons type of a lover, I for one am gald!

For me, his romantic quotient lies in that special look in his eyes when he sees Prachi, that slight lift of his lips when he teases her, the look of desperate hunger for her when he thinks she'll never be his, the anger fighting anguish in those same eyes when he thinks she's been unfaithful and the pain he feels when she's in pain and his helplessness to assuage it.

All the expensive gifts in the world can never compare to all that he feels for Prachi. And, Prachi is his ideal soulmate for she doesn't crave for these materialistic symbols of love either.

So, the creatives can go ahead and do their worst by this lovely couple. For us Michians, the couple will never be destroyed in our eyes. Knowingly or unknowingly, the BT creatives have, for once, created a pair of lovers that are close to immortal.

I would have compared them to Romeo and Juliet, Isolade and Thesbe, Heer Ranja etc. But I daren't as I don't want the same fate to visit them!

Just something to tide you all over till god-knows-what senarios those madhatters are going to throw at us in the following weeks.

👏 👏 👏 Great post dear. The thoughts you put across are exactly what attracted me to this jodi. They take pleasure in the small gestures of their spouses. Prachi's present of that famed white shirt was Milsi's most precious gift. The dhoklas she makes are the most tastiest food items he has ever had. These two are so happy and contended in each other's presence the rest of the world just ceases to exist. They do not want the riches of the world but each other's undivided attention and love. Yes Michi were, are and will all be my favourite jodi.

Pippa darling......beautifully written👏 and I for one like you too am glad that he was not one of those annoying....over the top Romantic....chocloate heros....urg🤢...hate those type...even in real life...😆

I love...the Man he is...and love Prachi for the woman she is too...as for both...materialistic things never ever mattered at all....😃

To add one more thing to how Milland changed Prachi.....was...accepting..her for what she was....he never imposed his decisions on her...thus...for the fist time...Prachi...truly was an independent person...an individual....who made her own decision...be it wrong...or right.....

And Prachi....brought out the softer side of his...and was the only one who looked beyond his rough edges...and hard exterior...to see what a warm, loving, caring person he truly is....

Michi for me ....are the best Jodi😳..that...ever graced Television....and will remain...my Favourite...Forever...😃

@Pippa, you right except for the saree, he has never bought her a present and I'm glad for it. His faithfullness (consciously & unconsciously), dependability and honesty speaks volumes more about his love than any grand romantic gesture would.

pippa hunny... knowing mills he will bring prachi a gobi instead off flowers 😆 ....

the guy doesn't gives a damn about those things ... his charm lies in the way he makes prachi feel special.... his gaze and smiles...and those small gestures are enough for prachi to understand his love and affection towards her...they mean more to her then the gobi 😳 ...

( although ramu kaka would make a fine dish out off it 😆 ...)

great post hun 👏 👏 👏 ...

Oooh Pippa interesting post... Sad to say but I am a sucker for those 'gestures of love' like flowers chocolate etc... I always got boyfriends(though it's in plural there were very few of them) who seriously didn't care about these things but I forced them to care and I has always been successful 😃

Back to Milind... Yup I agree... he has other ways of showing his love and it's so mesmerizing basically I agree with your whole post (but if he's mine he will change or better word 'broaden' his ways *ducks*)

What a wonderful post, Pippa.

Milind is lucky that he has a woman who can see the little child inside this strong macho man, and love that little child - when he's trying to please her, yearning for her attention but also when he's tormenting her in childish ways like pinching her or breaking her bangles. She can still see the love.

In a lot of ways, I feel she mothers him. Most of their romantic scenes too have that badmash boy - loving mother quality.

I would love to see Milind in the care taking, man mode with her. Like the time he held Ayesha's hand when she tried to strike Prachi. I hate to see it, but if there is a separation, and he later learns the truth and woos and woos Prachi and fights to have her in his life, I definitely would like to see that.

She's come too easy to him, and sometimes I feel he fails to appreciate her fully. He insults, yells, mistreats her, and she still stays. I especailly hated the 'mujhe khilake tera is ghar me dana pani nahi chalne wala hai' I think any other woman would have walked out hearing that.

I'd like her to really leave once, maybe just for a night and let him pine for her.
