maya knows how influential saanjh is in Arjun's life and now she is in love with him, how does any girl cope with that. Even if she trusts Arjun, will be she able to saanjh? If there is no other option, then better to tell the best friend to not the cross the line beyond friendship.

Maya should trust Arjun. She has zero trust on him, she even said it. That's why she ran after him. Not because Saanjh said stuff to her. Her insecurity gets the better of her, always and for the most trivial reasons. That is not normal or healthy.
