Shivalika Sharma who plays an important character Gudiya in JD Majethia's new show Ek Packet Umeed, decided to get married soon after she started shooting for the show. Needless to say, the shooting was affected big time and the producer had to accommodate dates to make way for her wedding and honeymoon.

Shivalika got married to Sameer Deshmukh, an investment adviser based in Mumbai at the end of November. Interestingly, her shooting schedule started with a sequence where she was getting married on-screen too.
The actress getting wedding jitters but the crew members and the creative team came to her rescue. The unit members suggested she take a crash course in wedding and related stuff while shooting.
Says an excited Shivalika, "Like every girl, I was getting wedding jitters, but the entire team really helped me getting in sync with the idea. In fact, it was like a practise session for me, and believe me it really helped me.
Moreover, they accommodated my schedules when I took off for my wedding and a long leave honeymoon to Singapore and Thailand. Our shooting is going to start next week and I am really looking forward to it."

Producer J D Majethia says, "She started off with a wedding sequence and it was her actual wedding later. We adjusted her dates since she plays a key role.
All the actors obviously had a tough time with the re-arrangement, but I convinced them that we should co-operate with her so that she does not have a problem with her in-laws. Our second schedule is starting next week, and she is gung-ho about her work."
