TRPs...Woohoo!

The trp's for last week are out and the show is on the 9th position of top 10 highest rating shows with a trp of 2.7! So happy and proud for all the actors working hard on this show and even the writers who have managed to keep the show at the top without making it overtly melodramatic and filled with negativity like some other saas-bahu shows on tv.

Yes Kaira engagement has bought an increase so happy about it. 2.7 is pretty good for a show going on for eight years.

I am so proud of Shivangi and Mohsin that they have made place in the viewers hearts as Naira and Karthik, the new lead pair of yeh rishta kya khelata hai, because trust me it wouldn't have been very easy for them. In a span of 7.5 -8 years a show makes an image of image of itself, there be a group of audience who dislike the show, a group who love the show for what it is, a group who just watch the show simply because it fits in their time schedule, and for yrkkh since it is a long running show probably a group jealous of it's long run. With Kaira as leads somewhere the image of yrkkh has been changed, though it retains the same positivity as before and the importance given to each relation is still unchanged, but with Kaira a freshness has entered the story, which was once about a perfect woman doing no wrong, it is now changed to a very much human girl who learns from her mistakes. From a story lf arranged marriage turning love, to story of two people in love not accepting just each other, but even their partners family and making their partner accept their own family, the image of yrkkh is changed but not all people are willing to see it, most of those who disliked it through out the years would feel how can they show be liked just because the lead pair changed, am sure it is completely like before, I am not wasting my time with this show. Most of those who were fans of the show were HiRan and NaKsh fans that left with the actors exit, most of these fans must have thought, we came here for the jodi Naksh why should we stay back for anyone else, maybe few gave previous fans gave it a chance. Those jealous o the show for having a long life, of course continue to hate it as Kaira succeed in catching more eyes. So the only group that's left is those whose schedule is free from 9:30 to 10 and they have nothing else to do. Still Kaira have managed to gain a large group fans who love them immensely, due to the way the creatives have so beautifully sketched the characters of Karthik and Naira, due to the freshness the writers have given in Kaira love story, due to Shivin portrayal of kaira, the couple have been a success. Despite of it being so hard Kaira and shivin have managed to tie the audience, despite the show running for eight years, the writers and makers are able to bring in new ideas that keep audience hooked.

My comment was only to say that how much hard work Shivangi Mohsin and the entire team are putting in the show, I only praised the characters, actors and creative team for their work. About me feeling bad about your comment on this post, I didn't even read it up until now, that too after I saw your other comment directed towards me, stating that my first comment was for you, it was then I read your first comment. And guess what your comment has no effect on me because what you think isn't important to me.
