Pop-up: Rishi compares Aamirs Dangal to father Raj Kapoors Awaar

Rishi Kapoor has finally launched his much
talked about biography Khullam Khulla: Rishi
Kapoor Uncensored in the capital today.
Rooting for Rishi, the Kapoor clan including
wife Neetu, daughter Riddhima Sahni, son-
in-law Bharat Sahni and granddaughter
Samara were also present at the event.
The veteran actor who appeared to be
pleasant spoke about many things during
the ceremony.
Opening up on what keeps him going
professionally, the Kapoor & Sons star said
"Ab iss umar mai Kya career hota hai, these
words by Rakesh Roshan hit me and that
was the moment I decided I will prove it to
you."
He also reminisced about how Kabhie
Kabhie happened and revealed, "Yash
Chopra wanted me to me work in Kabhie
Kabhie and I said no to him and they
convinced me to do it so mai yeh sochta hu
ki agar mai yeh film nahi karta toh..."
Rishi was also all praises for Aamir's Dangal
and even compared it to likes to Raj
Kapoor's Awaara and Mera Naam Joker.

Awara has great songs.. I still listen to the music.. but that is where it ends..

Dangal much better movie.. it is actually not fair to compare them.. different genre..

I didn't understood the comparison between Dangal and MNJ, although Awara like Dangal was a hugely praised, acclaimed and ATG.
