Blame it all on showbiz
While Rakhi Sawant has been crying hoarse about the Nach Baliye 3 controversy and the rigged voting system, we spoke to Manav Gohil who was involved a similar controversy during Nach Baliye 2. Manav however feels the media should tone down while reporting such stuff. "During our SIM card controversy the media helped us initially and later got me into trouble as well. I am not denying that I didn't buy SIM cards. I did buy them. But it was for my friends and family. They wanted to vote for us but, they could not vote for more than a certain number of times. So instead of making them spend money on SIM cards, I bought some 200 SIM cards per week and inspite of not being the best dancing couple around, we used to get lakhs of votes. But a section of media wanted a story and even reported that I was interrogated by a cop which was untrue. But then this is a part of the job. Blame it all on showbusiness," he says.
