For the Heart knows no reason and sees no boundaries. It is undaunted by hurdles; recognises no rules and holds the belief that it can scale the highest peak. The Heart is irrational and rational at the same time. It does not need a crutch and can hold its own. It is a weak heart that bends down to societal norms.
Of the Heart and the Brain, one would think that the Brain is the smarter, more logical. But infact, the heart KNOWS and comprehends. Ofcourse, it can miscalculate but some decisions taken with logic and reasoning turn out to be wrong too.
So in Vividha's case, she knows that she would be unhappy and make others unhappy, if her heart remains unfulfilled. And that does not mean having Atharv with her- ofcourse that is what she would obviously prefer. She is not ready, and possibly would never be ready, to offer his place in her heart to anyone else. The Heart wants what it wants. It is stubborn and cannot be forced.
In Atharv's case, his heart knew and so it waited patiently for Vividha. And it pursued dreams because she was not bound to anyone else- there was still a chance that her affinity towards him was love. Often she showed signs of falling in love and being in love. And in love, she was indeed. If she did not exhibit those feelings, his heart would have taken a step back. His heart wanted what it wanted but would not have accepted a compromise and could never have been satisfied with half measures. He loved with a boundless passion and anything less from his partner would not have been acceptable to him.
In Ravish's case, his heart wants what it wants, but Vividha is not unattached and is bound by love and promises to another man. She will not love Ravish totally and completely. And so it would be prudent to let her go. It remains to be seen if Ravish's heart really DOES want what it wants that it settles for less than half measures. Where Atharv always wanted to be the priority in Vividha's life, Ravish seems to be content being the compromise. No man should feel that way and it is best he moves on.
I still maintain that the concept of Ulta Phera is rubbish. And the importance on the MS is equally so. Should Atharv be insecure in Vividha's love for him? Not at all. Because she stood up to the highest echelons of society and proclaimed her love and devotion for him. When he was not there. He did not need to be there, with her, in person. He has always been there in spirit. Atharv was always there between Ravish and Vividha, but Ravish cannot come between Atharv and Vividha - that is a non equation. So any insecurity would be baseless. But ofcourse it would depend on who he is when he returns. The same Atharv who stood up for what is right; or another Atharv, indebted to others who bends under the pressure of gratitude and false values that please society.
