Chapter 16

The moment Jalal enter the room he felt his heart stopped. His Jodha bind in various wires. System indicates her heartbeat.hamida followed him.

Due to some sound Jodha open her eyes. She blurrly saw a male figure in font of her. She close her eyes n again open it. Now she could see him. But she saw another figure behind him. She smiled a bit then said in mild voice,

"Hamida aunty"

These two words was like thowing stone on both of their heart. Hamida was shocked. Jalal was before her but Jodha called her, that too HAMIDA AUNTY?? Why didn't she called jalal? She loved him the most.

Jalal's condition was no difference than hamida. But there is a fear started growing inside his heart. No he will never let the fear come true.

He again heared , "Hamida Aunty.."

Hamida walked towards her. "Jodha beta." She touched her hand. Jodha's eyes split a few drop of tears. It was like some where she got he touch of someone close. Hamida gestures jalal to come close. He come close. Now he sat opposite side of the bed and touch her hand and grapped it. But with his shock Jodha didn't gripped it tightly. But he ignored thinking she is too weak to grip. But the next set of words shake his world of dreams.

"Arry hamida aunty jalal kitna badal gaya hai na?" then turn to his side "kaise ho tum? Or tum yaha? Maa ne bola tha bank ke exams de rahe ho? Pass hue? Ya fail?"

Jalal was shocked beyond limit. "Jodha...tumhe pata nahi hai? Tumhe to pata tha na?"

"Kya? Jodha said with weak voice."Mujhe kya pata hoga? Main to kitne dino baad tumhe dekh rahi hu."

This time not only jalal but hamida also shocked by jodha's word.

Jalal's hands started shaking and his head started to spin. No...No this can't be happened. He still want to conferm once again.

"Jodha, tumhe pata hai kya tumhari shadi ho gayi hai?"

Jodha smiled slightly. "Kya jalal. Tum to aise Mazak nahi karte the. Meri kab shadi hui? "

Now jalal can't sit like that. He stand u with fear and devastated. He looked at hamida who herself was confused by her behaviour. Jalal can't stand now his legs are shaking. His most horrible fears come true. He thumped his body on the nearby chair and looked at her with tearful eyes he had never wxperienced any situation like this where his love deny to know him as her husband.

Hamida looked at jalal. Then she came to him as she see jodha's eyes were droopy she can sleep any moment. She sat beside him and place her hand on his shoulder. Jjalal look at her and the next moment he hugged her tightly as his life depend on that hug.

"jalal tell me u know this na?" hamida asked him placing her hands on his cheek lovingly

Jalal looked at her with tearfull eyes. He is devastested yet broken. He said nothing but nodded a yes. Hamida immediately hug him tight. As a mother of her son she definaitly know what is going on him. She knows jalal had very few power to love anyone but if he love someone he can do anything for them. But now its about his wife who actually forget him.

Hamida don't know what to do. They didn't call her mother and inform about this accident. But she have the right to know about her daughter.

She caress jalals face and asked him, "how come you know this?"

Jalal didn't look at her just answer her in grumpy voice, " doctor said about this possibility but he also said tat she also can be normal. I didn't expect this really." He hugged her tightly.

Hamida caress his hair and sooth him. She doesn't know how jalal will hold himself further.

After some time jalal stand u with determination? He will not give up. But his mind ask him question. How? She forget you. She know you only as Your ammi's sn and her friend, not as her husband. She even forget about her and your marriage.

He came out of the room silently like a robot. He was numb from mind and paralised from body. Mirza maina Humayun and others came to him.

"what happend beta? Kya kaha jodha ne?"

Jalal was shocked. Shocked to the core. What he will say. But he has to say.

"She forgot everything."

There was a radio may be outside on the street playing songs. Jalal was standing on the door f her room looking at her with slite tear. He laughs on himself. Her room! If the situation was normal she would be now in my room, under me!! Jalal scolded his mind."How dirty you have gone." He remembers that day outsde the hospital he broke down. Then only his another mom consoled him and her words gave him a new courage to be strong and determind.

"Jalal u can't be weak now. U has to be strong and face the situation!"

"How can i maa, she didn't even remember me the moments we share our marriage our love. What if she comes to know all this and then push me from her far??"

"How can be you so sure about this that she will go far away from you? Listen jalal when she have memeor she loved you. I could see tha n her eyes that day on the station itself. The way she was looking to you. I know her inner sence still can recognise you. It's like she needs a clue of its confermation."

Jalal look at her with tears in his eyes. And just hug her tight.maina caress his hair and sooth him.

"I want her back maa. I can't live without my wife. I can't."

Maina cuped his face and rubbed his tears with her aanchal. She saw jalal from his childhood and loved him like her own son. But his tears making her heart cry.

"you have to try again jalal. Try to make her fall in love again with you. Doctor said she forgot her 1 year memory that means she didn't remember that she have a boyfrnd name Vikram. So she is free now. Try jalal first make her fall in love. Make her realise that how much you love her."

"Will she love me back maa?" jalal asked her like a innocent child.

Suddenly she fel a touch on his shoulder. He looks back. Hamida was standing there. "She will jalal. She loves you. But just she forgets that feeling. Bloosom the feeling on her again jalal. She needs you."

He looks both of his mothers. They are so determind.he cant be weak now. He will fight. Fight to bring his love back to him.

He remember that maina said that there was no one who could care for jodha in this time so she wants jodha to live with them till she get well. Jalal know he had only this time. So he said he and hamida will take care of her. When he wll not be at home hamida will be with her. But he didn't want to keep jodha on dark about her memory loss. But after knowing jodha became restless. So they told that she will come to know slow by slow. She have to wait till she get well. Jodha give promise not to talk about her past and move on. Jalal felt a shy of reliefe knowing this.
