Shahid Kapoor Questions Credibility of Critics

I am so glad I joined in on this forum. I feel, as viewers, we give more importance to the acting and overall performance of actors and the content. Unfortunately, channels and gossip sites continue to only cover just that, the private lives of actors and the dramatic twists of shows and not enough praise for the actors. It is unfortunate that only shows such as Beyhad (I love Jennifer and Aneri!!!😳) and other youth oriented shows get picked up by the media for recognizing the performance of the actors. That's true.Media coverage is what creates & sustains the buzz around a show & contributes to its popularity. And that's why I stopped watching shows like SBS & SBB cause all I could see in there was them covering the shows doing well on the TRP charts,a thing they still keep doing I guessI have seen so many shows such as YVR, Sanyukt and Afsar Bitiya on Zee TV with actors like Rinku mam and Ankush who perform much better and have shown much more shades and have been so much more versatile. ðŸ˜Love this last line of yours. So true. These shows have been some of the best shows I have seen with some very good actors.Sad in how much like movies where actors are branded superstars not because they are good actors but because of the box office earnings they ensure,in TV too it's the TRPs that lend the product more visibility, more marketability, more popularity & more success
