Why should she stay married to move on?

Okay, so Everyone thinks Atharv is dead but how is staying married to Ravish the only solution?
Vividha has stated clearly that she can't love Ravish. Ravish too knew that someday Vividha would leave from his life right?
So how is it that all of a sudden he does not want to let her go? He is talking about promises and commitment moments after his brother's final rites? (Whom he supposedly loves).

My point is why should she stay back in a marriage where she has nothing to give? I am not saying Vividha shouldn't move on but it should happen at its own pace, she should take some time off and live in a different ambience, get a closure with whatever happened to Atharv etc etc and may be at a later point she might meet someone who might make her heart flutter again etc etc or she could just live in his memories and stay happy by doing other productive things. How is staying married to Ravish a solution?
So it's difficult for Ravish to move on from vividha, but it's okay to assume that forgetting Atharva is going to be a cake walk for her just because they are married & Ravish loves her?

Even in yesterday's episode Suman mentioned that she asked Ravish to move on but he refused? Then how are they assuming it's going to be easy for Vividha? That too just 11 days after losing the love of her life?

Vividha said to R today that for her this marriage was nothing but an obstacle in her life. She acknowledged that he was hurt and that she was his culprit but she explained to him that she can never love him or give her 100% to this marriage and therefore it is better to end it so he can find someone who will love him. R wants to keep Vividha because he is infatuated by her. He refuses to let her go because he was hoping she will bury Atharv's memories and give him what he wants (NEVER HAPPENING)! He admitted today that he DOES NOT WANT TO LET HER GO, which goes to show his intention was to always keep her whether or not she wanted to! R's feelings are nothing but a mere infatuation and if we want to be kind, we can term it as one sided love, which means he can easily move on, unless he wants to be a psycho but VITHARV love EACH OTHER. It is not one sided, they have faced so many things together, deepening their bond, it is not a relationship that can be forgotten! And that if the difference b/w Ravish's one sided feelings with VITHARV's love for one another.

To be honest I always believed that you can't really help whom you fall for but Ravish is really making me rethink that. He is in love with a girl whom he didn't even know anything about! and now he is talking about commitment and letting go? I mean why should she stay? because Atharv is dead and he thinks his chances are more now?

Because the rules of staying on or moving on are simply different for men and women 😡 ...
Isn't this what this has been all about ...
Ravish pain is pain , vividhas has no meaning ...
Ravish 's love is love ( actually I would not even call it infatuation , it looks more like a childish crush which he never had ) , vividhas love does not matter ...

Purely the rules are gender biased ...

While ones existence means everything ----------- ( reference to R here ) ,
The others death means nothing ---------------------- ( reference to Vividha here )

Because woman have different rights to men... plain and simple. Woman have to stay in an unwanted commitment for family respect whereas men can do whatever they like and can get away with it. Usually the same culture in every developing and 3rd world country.
Because Indian television have set stands that whether an FL is physically/mentally/emotional/socially abused you have to stay with your husband. They have no rights to move on and live their own lives.

What is life without Melodrama?!
But I'll tell you what - For ages, women have been considered subordinate to men. In all societies. Their purpose? To keep home and hearth, a warm bed, bear children and raise them, cook and manage the house and at best be well groomed social consorts for their husbands. Few women have had the strength and character to raise above this in the past. And a few societies, because of some strong women, recognised and bestowed upon women the right to live. Did you know that Women in Britain were subjected to similar torture and their rights were first recognised in Britain in 1928, with women over 30 being allowed to vote only in 1918? What would you know?! Britain!

The general thinking is that a woman is incomplete without a man. Her life is a void without the broad shoulders of a capable male. Forgotten ofcourse is the fact that Women, being as capable as men, could find simple happiness and fulfilment in a vocation, and IF she is lonely, she is capable of finding a partner with or without help from friends and family. But that would be rather dry in an Indian Television show, wouldn't it ?- lets forget for awhile that if they DO show that, it may empower some young girls who need the encouragement to break free and lead personally fulfilling lives, with or without the brawn and bronze of a male companion.

So to answer your question minus my rather long rant - it is the formula of melodrama that keeps our Indian shows well oiled and always running (sometimes for 10 years)!. So, the greater the fuss you create the longer your show can run on prime time tele, giving tele watching aunties something to smile about while they lay their heads to rest on their pillows at night - the torture of a fellow woman at the hands of society in general and men in particular - their thinking; 'if my life sucks, let the woman on tele go through a more harsh trial by fire'!!!

No, she does not need the man with a moustache (or not) to hold her hand lead her through life. And his tears would not should not move her, as I am SURE the gang of loonies in the vashisth mansion plan and hope. But what I fear, having seen the episode, is that the POWER of fire, and the greater power of the very mangal (not) sutra, and the greatest power of institution of society and marriage AND (hold on), The monumental power of the man's tears and (well there can be NO greater power than the expectations of the loonies) will break Vividha's resolve and she will step back and decide to stay in the marriage. Phew!!! So the ulta pulta logic (or lack of) pheras will have worked and the aunties will sleep easy with less acidity (who needs hajmola?!). But my simple, dimpled question - what is to be of the eternal love purported for SO many months if Vividha does that?

I preference would ofcourse be that if the accessory is needed, then one of the loonies suffers a panic attack and the ceremony gets postponed. Would be the best outcome. Else, my watching this soap is a waste of time. Because today when Suman and Sujata spoke about Ulta phera, my only thought was 'what the hell am I watching?!'

Btw, are you acquainted with Bak Bak Chicken? No?
Rewind and watch Sujata - Bak bak chicken
Suman - Mother of all bak bak chickens.

Me?- headless chicken, dude! Especially after saat phere, vacchan,
MS-BS (bull shit), so on and so forth. What do I do for my acidity?!
