My Vividha.
You know I've always wondered what Vividha's actual reaction would be if she thought Atharv had died. I mean the last time when he had disappeared, Uma had lied to her and told her Atharv had moved away, so her grief was different. But this time, everyone is telling her Atharv is dead and is not coming back.
And I got my answer today. Vividha is on the verge of madness.
When the police told the family that the search for Atharv should be stopped, Vividha nearly tore the mans throat off! How could he stop when her Atharv was still out there. She knew he was going to come back to her because he always does. And as a lifeless Vividha sat watching the door, waiting, she hallucinated that Atharv was back. Not baby Atharv, but Atharv Sujata who gave her a smile and a nod. But as Atharv's figure disappeared into Ravish's, her silent distress spoke volumes.
I know many might be wondering at Sujata's non-reaction. She had just lost her son, her Atharv who she can't live without, yet she seemed quite calm. But to me, Sujata was shell shocked. I don't think she can still quite believe Atharv has gone. Like Vividha, she too has hopes that he might somehow find his way back. I think when she sees the final rites actually being done tomorrow, the realisation will hit her hard.
Today, Ravish finally understood that he has no standing in Vividha's life. Her whole being, her memories her love, they are all for Atharv. To me it seemed that today, Ravish closed the book on any hopes that he may have had with Vividha when he closed the door and left her alone to her grief.
And Vividha.
How heart wrenching was it to see her search for Atharv because she thought him being missing was a nightmare. How difficult was it to see her break down and hug Atharv's possessions in the hopes that he would come back. And finally how agonising was it to see her hallucinate baby Atharv coming back and insisting he feed her before he let her feed him. And then when the dream broke, so did she, shattered and exhausted as she realised that she was all alone.
Vividha didn't care who came back to her, whether it was Atharv Sujata or baby Atharv, she can't live without him.
Shivani Surve deserves an award for her unbelievable performance as Viviidha. I just have no words to express what a wonderful actress she is. Today, she made Vividha's pain and hurt so real. What a fabulous actress!
