Ishita turned and slapped Raman hard , Raman got stunned with her sudden action ,he didn't reacted for sometimes, then he anyhow composed himself and again ran behind ishita .Soon he caught her ,he forcefully engulfed her in him embrace and called a taxi ,ha make her sit in it and then settled beside her .He instructed driver to take to his appt .after a drive of fifteen min they were in front of his house, he pulled her out and take her in his appt ..He make her sit in couch and went to bring water for her while she was busy in crying .He passed the glass to her and told " ishita have some water first then we will talk ".
She got up from her place and spoke angrily " I don't want your concern ,don't act as if you actually care for me .aap kabhi nahi samjhoge raman , because you are boy but its a huge matter .This all your care and concern are momentary .".
R- its not like that ,I really care for you ,I really do .
I- you know what Raman ,I m just fed up of your concern ,aap meri care mat karo ,that day you tried to help me and ended up in bed ,another time you tried to help me to save me from ashok but now everybody is gossiping about our relationship and now this pregnancy. Do you even know what does this mean .,for you that must be a pleasure for sometimes but for me it was a life changing event ,boys ka kuch nahi hota raman sirf ladkiyon ki zindagi badalti hai .Today you are saying me that I shouldn't take any step ,but just think for once ,after someday when people will see my bulgy stomach ,they will mock me ,they will call me characterless, they will ask its father's name ,boys will look at me with lusty eyes while girls and woman will see me with disgust .No raman no I can't take it ,main mar jana chahti hoon ,amma appa ko kya bolungi main .
She brust into tears saying this ,Raman too was crying listening to her ,he pulled her to him and hugged tight ,she too tried to hide her in him and cried her heart out .Both remained in same position for much time ,then suddenly he realized that she has loosened her weight on him ,he pulled her from himself and noticed that she has fainted .He picked her in his arms and took her to bed ,placed her gently in bed and sat beside her .He caressed her forehead lovingly and waited for her to woke ,he too closed his eyes and tried to get some solution for this problem ,soon he too drifted into sleep ,holding her hand .After some hours Raman opened his eyes feeling some movement beside him and saw ishita trying to get out from his hold .He composed himself and asked " do you want something ".
I- ( meekly )- I want to use washroom .
Raman loosen his grip on her hand ,she without glancing at him went to the washroom ,he also get up from the bed and realized that he is having a severe headache .He went into kitchen and started making tea for themselves .He was done with making their tea and realized that ishita has not yet come ,he went in room and called her but she didn't responded, he called her again but again no response ,his heart skipped recalling her words that she wanted to bed her life .He pushed the door forcefully for sometime ,it got opened ,he saw her sitting in corner curling into herself ,crying bitterly folding her legs to her chest ,Ramans heart mourned witnessing her state ,he went to her ,again picked her in his arms and came out from bathroom .He make her sit in bed and sat beside her ,he kept her head on his shoulder and spoke " Ishita please be Lil strong, please listen to me and try to understand. ishita please try help me ."
Ishita didn't spoke anything and looked at him ,he was already looking at her ,they had an intense eyelock which Raman broke as his vision become blrry due the tears in his eyes .He closed his eyes and tears rolled from them ,he swallowed his saliva and spoke holding her both palms in his " ishita I know tumhare saath bahut bura hua ,bahut kya jitna bura ho sakta hai usse bhi bura ,but believe I didn't do this intentionally. it happened ,I know you are in very bad state but I m also not at peace .Its not you don't know me ,you know me very well ,I m from a very rich and we'll known family, I m president of our college ,a boy who is every girls dream and you know very well I was living like that only .I was a free bird never bothered about anything ,but I m with you for last one month like your shadow ,because I m guilty for that night .main tumhe dikha nahi sakta but I m also feeling same saffocation which you are going through .ishita I m also a boy ,I had never took any responsibility till now,but all of a sudden all this happened ,this is new for me too .I can understand your state but for once think about me too ,if something will happen to you I will never be able to forgive myself .ishita main koi criminal ya aisa ladka nahi hoon ki I m feeling happy looking to your state but the thing is I can't undo it ."
I- to main kya karoon bolo .
R- this is a great blunder and which is effecting our lives ,I cannot leave you like this ,na main tumhe chod sakta hoon aur na Marne de sakta hoon.
I- to hum kya karenge .
R- what you want .
I- mere chahne se kya hota hai .
R- I mean what you want ,do you want to carry this child or ..
Ishita again started crying and spoke " I can't do either of two ".
R- but we have to do something ,if you want to carry the child ( closing his eyes) I m ready to marry you and if you don't want ,we will go to a lady doctor for abortion .its up to you ,tum decide karlo I m with you in your every decision.
I- I want sometime to think about it .
R- OK you take your time and tell me your decision ,we will do accordingly .Now you go and rest for sometimes and mind it don't try or think about harming yourself and you are not going to your hostel ,you will be here only till we decide and come up with some solution .
Ishita nodded not knowing what to say and how to react.while raman went to make something for both of them.
Raman was making food for them and checking her in between. as he was scared seeing her behavior in the evening.but she was sitting silently like a statue like she has became numb to everything.
Raman look at her and felt more guilty.he too want to cry loudly hugging someone tight who can sooth his all pain but he don't have anyone other then himself.
Raman- no Raman,u can't be weak.its ur mistake and u have to fight with it.u have to keep her safe from anything and everything. phir iske kaaran tumhe kitni hi takleef kyun na ho,u have to keep her safe. he was thinking to himself while ishita was sitting silently looking at nothing.
After making food,he went to her and was about to feed her,when she said-I don't feel like eating.
Raman-for the baby,he is weak.
Ishita-aaj weak hai,kal shayad rahe hi naa.she said with moist eyes making Raman eyes moist too.he look at her,she was looking at him ,they shared a intense eye lock.pain was clearly visible in both the pair of eyes.
Raman looked away , wiped his eyes and said wiping her tears too- jab tak hai,we will care for him.eat a little for the baby ishita.
Ishita nodded and start having the food slowly.she ate a little food and said-I am done.
Raman passed the water to her,she had it,he make her lay down and pat her to sleep.
