Yesterday's last scene (the hug) truly made my heart Crying.
Dev said "from now we will try to be happy"..
Sona too agreed and hugged him.

It is the hug of a couple who never wants "heaven on earth" -they just longs for a simple- full of love life..
But the final look on their faces portrays their disturbed mind clearly.

A guy who loves both his mom &wife selflessly -
Wants nothing but a normal peaceful life-
Trying hard to balance between his two most important women but fails in his every attempt...

A girl who is strong and independent but hopelessly in love with her man and struggles hard to fit in his family but gradually realizing that she loses her own identity in that struggle. .

A mother's who often proclaims proudly "I love my son.I will do anything for his happiness" trying to get her hold in his life by her own twisted way.

A mother's love -which is often consider as a blessing -here creates nothing but suffocation to the couple.. Under this obsessive love and meaningless insecurities her own son lost his ownself and it brutally affects his wife too. .

They both r realizing that their happy moments r numbered .so getting warmth of love from each other.

P.S --The inner turmoil of devakshi was beautifully portrayed by Shaheer and Erica.
Wonderful cinematography. Beautiful back view.claps for the crew.

Wonderful post👏

Such a beautifully written post. You said it so perfectly. Ishwari is the luckiest person to have a son & DIL like Dev & Sona but Dev & Sona are the most unlucky people to have a mother & MIL like Ishwari. They honestly deserve much much better family.

From y'day night, only that hug, his dialogue & their expressions were constantly running in my mind. Esp, that worried expression on Dev's face was shouting lot many things so loudly. The best thing is, He is not any more oblivious about his mom's intentions or issues. Its just that he is trying to create a balance in their life and he himself doesn't know how long he can do that even though he was assuring Sona time and again.

I hope he comes out from Ishwari's cage(suffocating & conditional love) soon. I know that old habits die hard since Ishwari was training him constantly with her emotional blackmailing from past 20 years and successfully enjoying the control on his life as well as on his emotions. But at the end change is INEVITABLE.

Thank u 😊
And thank u again for a mind blowing reply 👏
Yes showed a clear picture of dev's state.
Its more like he is assuring himself by saying "I will be with u.we r together "

Thanks for your kind words. Did you observe one more thing in the last 2 episodes, How many times Dev assured Sona "All is well"? He was not assuring Sona there, he was assuring himself. He is not avoiding confrontation with Ishwari, He is actually avoiding the situation where he need to choose b/w Ishwari and Sona since he exactly knows the end result in that case. Unfortunately those days are near and he can't escape.

His condition is similar to a person who is drowning in water and doesn't know swimming. They will grab what ever comes in their way to save their life and some times their desperate actions may push their savior's life also in to risk along with them. This is exactly is happening with Dev & Sona at present. He is holding on to Sona for his dear life(their relation) and he is pulling Sona along with him in to troubles in his desperate attempts to save their relation .😊

Sooner or later it will happen for sure Sajini. Life itself is too short to escape from it, here its just a daily soap. We just need to have little patience to welcome that.

I love what you wrote below. A hopeless situation indeed for both Dev and Sona. I dont refute that Dev loves Sona but is he strong enough to fight for his love against his mother?. Sona loves Dev but is losing her identity the only way to retain her love?
Is Love just enough?
