Geet had just got her work station just opposite to Mrs.Mini's desk and finishing her first day's job of getting her dues from Mrs.Mini right from the moment she got the appointment has order...Mrs.Mini is not a lady hitler as most of them like to think but a tough task master whom Geet found had a lot of command even over her boss. They she is very close to the chairman of the firm. Both are close buddies it seems.

After a little tour of the office and introduction session Geet had enough time only to serve hot chocolate and green tea to te MD. She wonders if she has been hired as an office girl instead os an office boy as her new MD liked girls more. Still it's only the first day and she need not jump to conclusions in a hurry.

Next morning Geet gets ready quickly as she didn't want to be late for work. But this Pinky is always munching something and still loading her lunch box.

Geet: Pinky, jaldhi kar na

Pinky: aathi hoon Geet, chal chal

They are already late...Geet didn't want to give the impression that she is taking th job for granted as she didn't even ask for it...

As they enter the lift Geet hastily pushes the close button and continues to apply all her strength that the closed door springs open. Geet panics and finds a pair of neatly polished black shoes intruding the path. She gets angry that the door has been deliberately opened and now she is going to be late for sure.

No sooner the door opens Geet starts scolding the person not even bothering to look at his face...

Geet: what's the hurry? Don't you have any manners? Can't you wait for a moment? Is it your first day too?

She starts blabbering not knowing what she is speaking...

Pinky tries to tell her something...but she doesn't listen at all...

Pinky : Geeet, pinky shakes her and makes her come to her senses...

Geet feels her duppatta being pulled and she has worn it around her neck and one end is being pulled while the other stuck to her cloth...

She then looks up and finds the man in black suit holding her duppatta...

Her anger rises again...

Geet: you rascal, how dare you

He throws it on her face as she keeps calling him names...

That man stares her and luckily for Geet his coolers shielded the wrath else she should have been burnt in their scorching flames...

Geet tries to shout at the top of her voice...: help hellp call the security halo koi toh aao

"Chup Bilkul Chup...", yes it is the MSK...

Hi manly authoritative voice silences Geet atlast...

He then turns back and walks off as if nothing had happened...

Geet keeps looking at him till the door closes and he disappears from her sight...

Pinky: Geet, what yaar? You shouldn't be so careless, what if he didn't come?

Geet: what?

Pinky: your duppatta was flying outside the door as it was closing

Geet: so what?

Pinky: what? you are lucky that Maan sir saved you at the right time

Geet: he saved me? Are you kiddng? he was pulling my duppatta Pinky

Pinky: but what if it had stuck between the doors and the lift started moving up

Geet: it's just your imagination

Pinky: no Geet, you didn't see it, you were meddling with the switches then

Geet: it's all b'coz of you

Pinky: what?

Geet: see I'm late on my first day

Geet doesn't care and rushes to her seat...

Mrs.Mini is on time and preparing the schedule for the day...

She looks up as Get says Good morning...

She looks at her age old HMT watch and looks at Geet...

Geet: sorry, I'm late, but it won't happen again

Tasha then comes with a bunch of flowers, Red ordhids, and gives it to Geet...

Geet looks at it and looks at Tasha...

Geet: where should I keep this?

Tasha: how do I know? It's your problem

Geet then looks at Mrs.Mini who is still staring Get, maybe she is looking for an excuse from Get for being late...

Geet: woh it's all Pinky's fault

Mrs.Mini: Ms.Geet, it's time to get to work now

Geet: yes m'am, please tell me where should I keep this?

Mrs.Mini smiles and looks at confused Geet with a little pity...

Geet: I'll keep it on the MD's table

Mrs. Mini stops Geet then...: halo Ms

Geet turns and smiles as finally Mrs.Mini broke her silence and is ready to help her...

Geet: Geet, Geet it is

Age has not helped Mini remember Geet's name...

Mini: yes yes, I remember

Geet then goes to the MD's room without waiting for Mini's advice...

She enters the cabin: good morning sir

MD: it's a very good morning indeed Ms.Geet

Geet searches for the vase and finds none...

MD: what's the matter?

Geet: I want to keep here

MD: here?

Geet: yes, isn't it beautiful?

MD: I know you would love it? That's why I ordered Red Orchids

Geet looks puzzled... : you ordered, but for whom?

MD: for you only

Geet: me, but Dev sir, what's the need?

Get is going to work for Dev Khurana...

Dev: isn't it your first day at KC officialy?

Geet takes a closer look at the note..."Welcome to KC Ms.Beautiful", it reads.

Geet doesn't like that welcome much, anyways it's all part of her job...

Geet utters a forml thanks and leaves immediately...

Geet gets used to her circumstansces and except some casual flirting her MD is just a nice man it looks...

Geet is slowly settling down with her job and also started going to college...

She makes a few friends at the college too...but the thought of channi and her brutal end keeps haunting Geet...she can't rest in peace until the culprits are punished and channi get justce for her murder...

Geet keeps looking for opportunities to accomplish her mission...she doesn't want to hurry and alert the culprits who will immediately start blackmailing her family and thus put an end to her studies as well...she silently starts collecting information about the fundamental rights and other laws in force to protect women and also about the importance of evidences, witnesses and the motives behind such a crime.she has to find out who is the real culprit and also the people behind such crimes. She wants to put an end to all this once for all and no more channi's in Hoshiapur.

Meanwhile she meets this Adi, who is the one handling KC's legal matters at KC. He might help her with her case...she fnds out that Adi is fond of Pinky and the two are good friends...

Once when they are at a coffee shop Geet asks Adi about honour killings...

Geet: Adi sir, you must be knowing a little about criminal laws too

Adi: oh yes Get, why would you ask me that?

Pinky: Geet, here is your latte, and your capuchinno Adi sir

Adi: thanks Pinky

Geet: just curious

Pinky: Geet, just chill, it's the time to eat and enjoy life

Geet: life is not just eating and sleeping Pinky

Geet turns philosophical...

Pinky: OK Geet mataji, I surrender, but I'm happy as long as my tummy gets yummy treats

Adi: you got a point Get, I've also thought a lot when at college, you know with those big ambitions to put every criminal behind bars and end all the crimes, but that's all just a dream, reality is so cruel and now we are ruled not by the laws but by power and money

Geet: so true, but there must be something we can do

Adi: most of them who want to change the society end up changing themselves under pressure

Geet: someone has to tie the bell

Adi: it's not in our hands Get

Geet: don't say that Adi sir, everything is in our hands only, we just have to promise ourselves never to give up

Adi: it's always easy to say than to do it

Geet: how can you kill people? These stupids are obsessed with falase discriminations

Adi: some are

Adi doesn't get whom Geet is targeting...

Geet: those morons have no respect for the constitution what so ever, they make and break laws as per their wish, but these policemen who swear to protect people just sit and watch people killing people

Adi: it's every where, suparis take it as a profession

Geet: Who gives you the right to take a life? you are not God, not even human, bloody beats

Geet becomes emotional...

Pinky: it's OK Get, I know it's all bad that happened back at Hoshiapur, but you are here to forget it, just let go of it

Geet: I can't Pinky

Pinky: calm down Get, just forget everything, it's no use thinking of it again and again

Pinky knows how much Geet is upset and how hard it is for her to hold herself together and act normal...

Geet: every life is precious, and I believe every single life is secured by the law

Adi: it is actually, on papers

Geet: but why?

Adi: that's how it works

Geet: then why all the laws, courts and judgements, who are they trying to fool?

Adi: good question, but shot at the wrong person

Geet: no one is right, all are wrong only

Adi: maybe you are right

Geet: I wish I could hang them all in one go

Adi: you seem to be pretty upset Geet, but some things never change, you just have to accept it and move on

Pinky: OK OK guys it's getting too hot here, whose up for an ice cream? Come on Get

Pinky takes Geet out of that place...

Geet later vents her anger and frustations to Pinky and tells her about her wish to fight for channi one day...
