I actually had to make this post after reading Kel's thread. There is too much pouring in my mind to not make this thread.
First of all, Kel raised a question as to why didn't Suman slap Ravish when she slapped Vividha for hiding the fact. But the real question should be- "Why didn't Suman slap Ramakant when he was ACTUALLY two timing?". You see me using caps for the word ACTUALLY. Because only Ramakant was two timing while Vividha was very clear on her love for Atharv from the beginning.
So this woman Suman worshipped her husband all her life even thou he bloody two timed and she has 3 children with him. Yet she never questioned him and worshipped him like God. She went on to the extent of fulfilling his last wish true in making Vividha as bahu. Why didn't she question?? Just because he was a man. Why didn't she question her dadaji who got SUman Ramakant married? Because he is a man. Why didn't she question Ramakant and move on? Because she was a man. But why is Vividha being questioned, bcus she is a woman!!!! Typical irrational thinking ! Disgusting on the part of few people questioning around Vividha's character.
Today Suman is giving lecture on saying that it is "paap"(sin) to marry someone and love someone else. Why didn't she feel the same when Ramakant did it? Why didn't she stand for justice then? Does that mean it is ok for a guy to have extra marital affair. It is ok for him to commit the same "paap" . But when a girl loves someone out of her marriage its the crime of the century!! Eh? đł
Since time immemorial we hv seen serials on Indian TV where guy has extra marital affairs. Its all accepted and not shame to Indian marriage and society. He is not tied by marriage rituals, by MS or Sindoor. But when a girl loves someone outside of marriage its immoral, shame, disgusting. Its insulting to MangalSutra Eh? đł
Is it a sin to be born as a girl? This is not even an extra marital affair for God's sake. Vividha is clear from the beginning that she loves Atharv and she has confessed it in front of her so called husband. This husband himself has agreed and accepted her love for someone else! Then how is it disgusting?!
All those people who are talking of Mangal Sutra and Sindoor, does these society rituals exist only for women?? Whenever extra marital affairs of a guy were shown in Indian TV, for example in Balika Vadhu where people had innumerable marriages and affairs, nobody said that it was an insult to the institution of marriage. Nobody said a guy having an affair spoilt the meaning of marriage? Just bcus Vividha loved someone else and is having MS or SIndoor she is disgusting, cheap, inhuman, insult to marriage etc etc. Do u guys realize how much a woman is let down in society ? More by girls itself. đĄ
Vividha has clearly said she loves Atharv and clarifies that this marriage is nothing to her. She has called off this marriage long back. Vividha has worn MS by herself after Ravish removed it. Whether she wears it or not its none of anybody's business. This girl is clear in her actions. People need to see and appreciate that.
Last but not the least, a woman is not a substance to be tied by Mangal Sutra or marriage. A marriage happens with 2 people. A woman is not alone obligated. Nobody can tie her by tying her a Mangal Sutra. A woman is free in thoughts, actions, feelings and in life. I pity those who dont see this. I pity people who dont understand this.
I feel sad that girls are treated like shit in d world.. Every Girl feels atleast once in her lifetime that she should hv been born as a guy. Thanks for the society who still makes her feel so time and again!!
