Top 5 Beyhadh moments of the year

As we say goodbye and wind up another year, I though what better way to countdown the last 5 minutes of 2016 by going over the Top 5 Beyhadh moments of the year? I have written my 5 favourite scenes from the program below, make sure to share your top 5 moments from Beyhadh so far in the comments!

5. At number 5 we have the time Maya confronted Ashwin. Remember that mid-November episode when Maya and Jhanvi had gone shopping to the mall and Arjun and Saanjh happened to be at the same place? How Maya stood up against Ashwin would have definitely taken all the courage in the world. And for that, I'm so proud of you Maya!

4. My fourth-favourite moment of the show has to be the conversation Maya and Arjun had at the terrace a few episodes back. They opened up to each other and that's definitely a milestone. Plus, it lead to Arjun and Vandana's reunion, can we ask for anything else?

3. At the third place, I go back to episode 1. That Saajun conversation at what I guess was a flyover. Back then, that was one of the first glances we had to Saanjh and Arjun's friendship and their individual personalities. We were made known to the big dreams and aspirations Arjun has and of the simplicity that dominates Saanjh's life and how satisfied she seems with everything around her.

2. The elevator scene. Do I need to say anything else about it? For those of you who don't remember, it was back when Arjun had trapped Maya in the elevator of the office just when she was about to leave. That lead to the first ever hug Maya and Arjun shared, and for me, it marked the beginning of ArYa.

1. Anddd my favourite moment of the show so far is... *drumroll*

There's a tie. Between the police station episode and the Saaya dinner.

The police station scene/episode. Wasn't that unexpected? There is something about that episode that makes it so special for me, I'm not sure what. Maybe the essence of power, maybe the symbolism that Maya will be there for Arjun, maybe the fact that Saanjh is in a helpless position, whatever it may be, that has been my absolutely favourite scene so far. It shows what Maya is capable of and how bitter revenge can be. It shows her very well planned mind-games and her cunning thoughts (like when it came to slapping the police officer behind closed doors with no one to witness it).

Saaya dinner. That time when Maya invited Saanjh to her house for dinner only to talk about Arjun throughout the night and not allow Saanjh to have a single bite of food (if you don't count that Gulaab Jamun she basically showed down her throat). That was one of the most intense moments of the show so far, but it was strangely amusing. I loved seeing both of these antithetical personalities enclosed under one roof. Maya and Saanjh are so different, yet hold very similar places in Arjun's life. There's something about Maya and Saanjh sharing screentime, it's almost like the TV is going to explode from awesomeness.

+ Since it's New Year's Eve and a very happy moment, I've got a bonus point too!!

Bonus point 6: Throwback to the time Maya locked Arjun in the office washroom for 6 hours, yep that's an incredibly long time. Arjun munna was taught his lesson. Also, may I add, that has been one of the most hilarious episodes so far!!
