Going by Suman's angry tirade at Vividha today, her double standards have come out in the open. She implicates Vividha of something to which she herself has been a victim of. While her motherly concerns for Ravish can be justified, the way she put the entire blame on Vividha screams of her internalized misogyny - that women are supposed to 'adjust' and conform to the crutches of asphyxiating societal norms ( the same way how the forum thinks Vividha should suck it up and stay put in a love-less marraige just because she's a woman) however absurd they might seem but a man can continue to keep loving someone else and he's simply absolved of all his impropriety just because of his gender,Today's episode subtly highlighted this aspect of the society especially among females and kudos to the makers for underscoring the perils plaguing the society time and again.👏

Time and again the societal pressure of adjustment especially in marriage has always been on women. It is just expected to be that way with no questions asked ... And a lot of these norms set are also by women just like Suman irrespective of how their own lives have been ... Goes to say that women are indeed women's biggest enemies .Through vividha the show is slowly trying to question the age old concepts and contrasts between real love and a forced marriage ... No wonder we have so much resistance from a certain section here .

Totally right!
The line : Tum isse pyar karte ho? Shaadi ke baad bhi.
Sums it all up doesn't it?
These are the thoughts that need a change, as a mother her pain is justified, but to question Vividha for continuing to love Atharv is stupid. She of all people should know that marriage doesn't guarantee love.

suman to question vividha as to how she can love atharv even after marriage is epic. like she cribbed right from the beginning to have lived a loveless life, hated to see sujatha's omnipresence in her marriage and even at a point asked her son can he stand love for another man is vividha's eyes, to say this. is disgusting. but that is what her character is. she then hated sujatha instead of RK and now she hates vividha. had only she got it right then she would have done what sujatha did, back-off. but then...
