Namik talks about EDKV culmination! (spoilers)

So as per Namik the wedding was always a part of the plan and so was the Aditya fiasco - Fair enough! And then what was planned were brief tracks like the hot secretory, Sumo taking class of Anuj bhaiya and the sexual tension between ShraMan coz obviously they would live in same room and be attracted. After which the MAIN track would come wherein somehow Nirmala would be forced to live with Malhotras in Malhotra mansion and the whole Ramnath fiasco would come in open. And how Shravan would be totally devastated and shattered after that...He would stop talking and be totally broken...And everyone will realize their mistakes (READ INCLUDING SUMO)...that how badly they treated him and how all these things have ruine d his life. And after that Sumo would take care of him Help him heal and care for him (i think both physically and emotionally) because of which Shravan will realize that she really cared for him and did love him a lot. He would feel good about her care and eventually they will have a proper confessio nand wedding. I mean like really???? Like Sony tv how could you even think of shutting a show when it had such a logical culmination planned to it 💔 I had never seen any hindi tv soap coming to such a sensible closure of sorts.

Very honestly, I think I said it many times, that what all Shravan needed, even before he stood up for Sumo or helped her deal with her issues or came to understand women better, was to feel loved and cared for. He needed to be ensured that some people love him enough they wont ever leave him even if he was at his most fragile unlovable self. He first needed to be healed himself and his self-doubt needed to be cured by someone (his life partner to be precise) putting their confidence and commitment in a relationship with him. He needed to know that Sumo cared for him genuinely. And there could not have been a better way of showing this than what was planned. During that phase even Ramnath had come to this realization that Sumo indeed loved Shravan so much and she would never leave his side even in his weak moments like Nirmala did. Also, Nirmala would finally see how badly her and Ramnath's deeds affected their son. Even Sumo would realize how Shravan needed to be healed rather than punished or judged and how she was so mean to him at times without realizing where he was coming from. I mean one track and all our wishes would be granted!! And I feel it wont have lasted more than one-two months? Even if they scrapped the mini tracks and straight away jumped to this, we could have got our logical ending in 2 months. But one channel just ruined it!! 😡😭

Which also makes me understand and realize that how right Namik was when he took a stand for the writers. I think if Dilip sir and Uday/Tarunima had something like this in their head...It was so so amazing!! This track meant that the whole media fiasco wont have happened and Sumo wont have left him. Rather straight from him trying to start fresh in his new office we would have jumped to the secretary track and their wont be any disowning of Sumo in front of media. I mean how cool was that! How I wish we could see our story get completed in the beautiful way writers had planned...but Alas!

PS - Two things I simply loved...Namik told how he was like why Sumo speaks such crap about Shravan in that dining room scene...Damn didnt we all had same feelings!! Yea like I loved Niki there...she wa son fire but very honestly Sumo saying all that to Shravan and downgrading him in front of his family was totally uncalled for and most of us didn't like that. (Though what Shravan did was also not right and both went over-board)

PPS - I am so glad he said about feeling disgusted when he had to speak that "women are needed only to warm a guy's bed" line...I was like so true Namik...I hated that line too. BTW I am so proud of the way he talks about women. How he said that the height of a girl doesnt matter and he doesnt classify ppl like that. And how he told that he wont have liked if he was in a relationship and wasnt responsible to the person. Then he even talked about body shaming and obsession with being skinny and then how he never said he enjoyed curves...I mean I love how he is always so mature on topics related to his female costars or women in general. He is such a level -headed and sensible guy. The way he so respectfully talks about relationships and women makes me respect him all the more. I so love him man...May god bless him always. 😳 ❤️

I really wish we had the chance to see it all. Like you, I too thought Shravan needed to see and to feel the love and care from Sumo before he could change his opinion. Would've been such an amazing track! It's just really sad.

Re Namik he is amazing and really sweet. His IVs are so much fun to watch!!! I understand why he stood up for the writers but as a viewer I feel (still feel) really cheated.

Hey no need to thank buddy I think talking about his chat session is something so natural with us now especially when he talks about EDKV...Its just bliss. As for the epis in end I feel as Namik said they had almost shot till he buying the new space for his office and stuff...which was like 5 epis which they shot when Nikki wasnt around and they couldn't scrap it because money was put in it. I think they got 7 epis for closure out of which 5 were already shot so there was no point showing a big track then as Namik said. They added the media fiasco thing so stupidly just to show Sumo was disowned and asked to leave so that she can be brought back and Shravan be made to look guilty...IMHO Shravan would NEVER do it.

But I do agree with the Sumo being mean to him part...I think she was the only one who knew about all sides of the story and she still couldnt stand by him...It felt really disappointing but then as we all know EDKV always was meant to have a flawed female lead...A female lead which was never an ideal bahu nor an ideal wife or lover..she was just a girl learning to survive like most of us...she did her share of mistakes...she was a ball of fire at times that burnt everyone who came in her way. She was not restrained like a typical sanskari girl .She was a protagonist in learning process and I feel that was what made us all love her so insanely! 😳 Though YES! I wish she understood him better and didnt treat him so coldly and even selfishly at times.

Just that I wish we could see the part which Namik mentioned and also some little track on how Shravan learnt to respect women and help Sumo deal with her share of issues...Then this story would be complete.

Regarding Sumo being flawed, I loved her because of that! But they did not stick to it! And that's why I was so Angry & dejected! I did not mind her insulting him. He did, so can she. But whatever she insulted him about was just senseless and false! And then they go on to show her mahaan! Also she knew everything and he did not! Yet she kept wanting him to do everything and when he took a step towards that she would push him away!

I honestly think the writers could have done a much better job while Nikita was away.

The whole media scene was trash!

I am still so angry!

This show had the potential to reach the heights no other show had reached.. Just a bloody One/two months extension..!!! Was it really that difficult to extend such an amazing show..!!! Pathetic...

I sometimes feel since the PH itself was new they could not crack a deal with the channel like other PH which has mediocre or below avg shows but still get their due time in air..

Also ..how he himself felt that what Sumo told Shravan off about her struggle and him getting everything easily was absolutely crap. .but how the public lapped it up...I myself found that scene very stupid and uncalled for...

And those probable scenes where Sumo would finally realise that she was wrong and take care of Shravan ..God. ..that was when it hit me how badly Sony snatched away that beauty from us..

With every chat of his Namik only reaffirms my belief that he is one of the most sorted and grounded celebrities around..he is such a treat!!
