Secret Behind The Secret & Some Questions

What could possibly be the secret behind Manish, Swarna & Kartik's Mom's triangle? It's actually possible that K's mom isn't dead but what's the reason behind their separation? Their love triangle isn't look that simple like S join M's office as his secretary & then they fell in love for which K's mom did suicide or left the house, so is it possible that M & S used to love each other when they were in college but cause of some circumstances they become separated & then M marries K's mom but when S came back in his life after a long time they once again couldn't help but start loving each other again? & is it possible that M & S have a love child which is supposed to be K's elder brother (if he really exist) about which M didn't know but when she came back in his life he came to know about him and all these possibly was the reason behind K's mom's death or leaving the house? and if this brother really don't exist then possibly he may be going to be shown as K's cousin or may be simply not going to exist in the show in future but then again is it actually possible that S doesn't have her own child? or is it possible that the problem was actually with K's mom & she had an affair with someone n that's why she did suicide or left home? [which is least possible though]
another question is for how long K was separated from his family? did he leave the house after his mom's death or after growing up n finishing his education?

It was mentioned that he was away from his family for 6-7 years by one of the goenka's. It was either akhilesh or manish who said it. I know for a fact that predictably it will turn out that it was karthik's mother's fault in this situation and make manish the good guy.

Edit - I just remembered one thing so thought to add this too - in 1 of the on location video (it was M's real life birthday) he was saying to S that he doesn't have any child with her in the show so does it confirms that K dosen't have any elder brother? Or maybe till that time creative's didn't finalise any child track with S?
