Again a fabulous post. 👏
I loved the episode.❤️
Not going to think about how rushed it was.
Nakuul was fantastic.
I wanted to c a scene where Shivaay is trying to sleep but he gets nightmare about losing Anika and then wakes up and sits next to her so he can stare at her and assure himself that she is alright and in one piece. But, oh well.
thanks!😳he was good, yes!And @ bold: I have written a scene like this in my ff😳
A silent plea for her to hold on a bit longer; a prayer to her wrinkled, wet hands to stay joined with his; cold, calculated rage against the man who dared to touch the woman he loves, who dared to enjoy the harm he had caused to his wife, the woman he had misunderstood to such an extent.
These were just some of the things going through his head as he saw her trapped and screaming for help, silenced because of a psychopath he had called his friend. She fell down, tired and unconscious, as he finally freed her from a prison of water and glass; this woman who used to throw water at him every chance she got and loved breaking glass. She had been trapped in his world of shards and poisonous, suffocating water, and he finally broke her free of a prison of his own making. And almost lost her.A man, frenzied with the loss of his heart, his soul, just a broken man pleading for his love to be returned to him, pleading with her to call him something, to bring him back into existence in her own way, holding her close as if to make her heart beat or to make his own stop so that they could be in the same world, this or another didn't matter. Not then.To think, his last conversation with her had been one filled with accusations and anger; to think, she would never look into his eyes, never ride roughshod over all his decisions, she'll stop being. No, he could not even dare to imagine a world without her words, without her smile, without her heart, without her.And then, a tentative light in the darkness of their minds: Shivaay. She had called out to him, to reassure, to believe, to calm: Shivaay. That was all he needed: for her to look at him, acknowledge him. And he held her close, sagging with relief that she was okay, she was with him, she was safe, alive, in his arms, and so he breathed again. But perhaps he had spoken too soon for she was silent. Seeing her break down and crying, he snapped. After her outburst, before it, she was silent. And he had no words. He wanted to solve things, figure things out, but what could possibly be figured when she refused to listen, just like he had? How could she not talk to him? She was Anika, and her not speaking would slowly drive him wild, as if, as if she did not exist at all, and he could not take that. Never. She needed space to lick her wounds, while he, he needed some relief from his guilt. And so he declared in front of his family, his full faith in her, that he would not take it if anyone insinuated anything against her good character. It was not much, but it was still something: a beginning of a journey of forgiveness.Guys, I tried...but sadly, the episode was too rushed for me to FEEL anything much; the editing was extremely shoddy, and there was no time given to even register anything. The pacing, the random song inserted in what should have been a completely background-less scene, so as to amplify emotions, made the whole kidnapping, her torture, seem trivial. The way it was quickly dismissed with a nod. It was quite disturbing.Anyway, I had to rant somewhere. But I won't ruin these words. I adored the way Shivaay reacted to her unconscious and when she gained consciousness.LoveGeet
