This is me copy-pasting from the AT.
So a discussion began about why exactly our boy deserves our girl. I'm not too great at these analytical posts and I mostly paraphrase dialogues instead of quoting them, but here's my take on it.
Why does Chakor need Suraj?
Surely she could find someone closer to her idea of the perfect man, someone with whom she doesn't have a horrible history, someone with whom she can begin anew.
Why then should she settle for a former typical UP ka gunda and her childhood tormentor?
Maybe because he understands her so well. Back when they hated each other and she was trying to get out of the Lucknow trip and faked illness, he knew immediately what exactly she'd done.
Unlike everyone else in her life, everyone who's claimed to love her and happily joined in her plans and who ultimately had nothing but accusations to throw at her scheming when it didn't exactly benefit them, he knows that is who she is and he admires her for it.
"Kaash Chakor yahan hoti. Uska dimaag bohot chalta hai aisi baaton mein."
Maybe because he has zero effs to spare for the world in general. After the whole bride swap her own parents did her antim sanskaar in front of her eyes. Why? Because she broke Vivaan's heart. And who exactly is Vivaan to them? What has he even done for them? The kind of career Chakor has, she's constantly under the scrutiny of so many people. What people are saying/thinking of her could really get to her. What does she need in all this? Someone who will tell her
"Log kya sochte hai, kehte hain koi farq nahin padta. Tum sacchi ho, sach bolo."
Maybe because it is so easy for a man's ego to get in the way of her udaan. To be insecure and jealous because of her fame. To ask her to sacrifice her career because he doesn't want the world to know him as "Mr. Chakor". Suraj on the other hand memorized the details of all her achievements. That is just how proud he is of her. He has zero qualms admitting
"Ismein nayi baat kya hai? Tum humesha se hi humse aage rahi ho."
Maybe because she needs someone with a backbone of steel like she does. He may stand aside and watch half amused when she picks fights, but he will tear the hide off the person who dares to harm her. He's not the kind who will run at the first sign of trouble. He's the guy who will stay by someone he loves, no matter what because,
"Hum jaise bhi hain tumhare saath hain. Yeh jo musibat aayi hai, uska hum mil kar saamna karenge."
And most of all maybe it's because he has the capacity to love like she does. Selflessly, unconditionally and intensely.
Oh and it's definitely because she's already in love with him.
