Devanshi really believes she is Choti Mata or a Young Goddess. No amount of rationalization by Rajjo or Vardaan can wipe out that belief from her mind. This is because ever since she was an infant Sarla has embedded this thought in her head. Sarla knows that Devanshi is no Choti Mata - nevertheless she went ahead with the brainwashing because she wanted to make money by showcasing Devanshi as Choti Mata. Unfortunately for Devanshi, that thought is now ingrained in her!đ
On the other hand, Vardaan knows his mother KS is a fake mata. He senses her cruelty towards his father and those around her. He intuitively knows that all is not right with her. This is why he does not believe in adulation of a person as Mata or support a religion that does. He believes in doing good and serving others - and he likes this bit about Devanshi. But, he does not believe the bit of worshiping Devanshi as Choti Mata
