Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki is repeating the track of Soumya being a torture bearing, sacrificing and helpless person, viewers seek change in story track
Colors' show Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki is one of the most unique show on the Indian Television as no other show till now has shown a transgender person as the main lead character in the show.
Shakti is story of Soumya (Rubina Dilaik) who is a Transgender aka Kinner. The story of Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki is started off with the a mother's struggle to safeguard her kinner child. Though Nimmi was shown as a tough woman and rock solid support of Soumya, the character of Soumya was seen as helpless and trouble prone child. With Soumya becoming a young woman, Soumya's character became even more helpless and spineless. Soumya's father Maninder (Ayub Khan) always troubled and tortured Soumya, while Soumya remained under protection of her mother.
Nimmi continued to be strong and was joined by Soumya's younger sister Surbhi (Roshni Sahota) who again is a strong character. Nimmi and Surbhi are seen protecting and supporting Soumya while Soumya is seen as highly emotional and fearful person. Later Harman (Vivian D'sena) comes in Soumya's life and becomes the main person in Soumya's life who supports and protects Soumya. In Harman's house, Soumya is seen tortured and harassed by Harman's mother Preeto (Kamya Punjabi) for being a kinner. Even though Harman is supporting Soumya, Preeto manages to torture and even beat Soumya at times.

Now, the fans and viewers of Shakti are wondering when exactly is Soumya going to stand for her self and is going to be a strong person? Till when is Soumya going to be spineless and sensitive person? Will Harman help Soumya in becoming a strong and independent person? When will the makers bring change in Shakti story or will Soumya keep bearing the torture from Preeto and pain of heartbreak post Harman and Surbhi's wedding?
