They are so different from each other with different background, ideologies, principles and different expectations from life that they are like chalk and cheese. No doubt Shivaay is tremendously attracted to Anika and Anika is completely confused of her feelings or attractions. We can romanticize this as 'opposite attract', but love goes beyond attraction. I still do not feel that both 'love' each other. In the real world such things do not happen.

Shivika are not compatible. The are as different as day and night.

He is rich, she poor, he is manipulative she is innocent, he has absolutely no regards for other's feelings, she is very sensitive to every body (even Tia when Sindoor went inside her eyes), she is too good his is the bad boy, she does not give a damn about the world so not bothered with what any body has to say... he live for his family name so NKK.

So even if after the MU cleared, they can not leave being themselves. They can not comprehend , from where the other is coming from, so they will be doomed and will be better off with out each other (only in real world, in IB land this wont/cant happen. )

That is the main concept of ShiVika. Its Shivaay's journey in changing all this and how Anika will help him. Right now their love has not reached that level. They have to face problems,learn to trust each other. Shivaay needs to let go of his NKK thinking.
Their story still has a long way to go and develop.
Anika accepted Shivaay with all his faults and shortcomings but Shivaay was not able to accept her. This is his journey. Lets c where their story takes us and whether they will emerge stronger or will they fall apart.
