Sonam Kapoor recently attended an Award Show where she was felicitated with the Best Actor award for her superb portrayal of real-life hero Neerja Bhanot in Neerja .
She took to Instagram to thank everyone for the award, but she also made it a point to address the elephant in the room i.e. the supposed competition between female actors.
Her message reads, "Thank you for the love..#bhanots#bling#rammadhvani #teamneerja A lot of conversation has been about awards and who deserves what. As an artist I'm just thankful for the experience of playing #neerjabhanot , That in itself was amazingly rewarding... all this dialogue belittles what this incredible woman stood for. Nevertheless all my love to #teamneerja , this is yours as much as it's mine."
Even Varun Dhawan was impressed by Sonam's words and said, "That's the best victory speech Iv heard".
