Chapter 8
Next morning.
Shravan opens his eyes slowly, trying to check out around, it looks different and the bed is so messy and yes,he's shirtless!
: Where's my shirt! Its not that I was drunk yesterday, then why don't I remember anything!? - He murmurs, surprised.
Suman comes out of bathroom after getting shower, looks at him smiling & blushing. Shravan gets more confused, he looks on. She collects her clothes which were lying here and there, something hits on his mind & gets up on knees.
: Crap!! - he groans.
She giggles, turning back.
: Suman, did yesterday, I mean me...You & me... - he tries to coherent sentence but fails to get some proper words.
She comes near him & pushes him slightly, blushing.
: Shit! Why don't I remember anything! Wait up...Varun bhaiya came here as Vandy hhabi kicked him out of their room, and he slept here, you went to bhabi. Varun bhaiya snored badly, I got hell irritated, but I slept...then how you...

: And I was asleep. Crap! I had fallen asleep in ourweddingnight!
Suman giggles.
: Then why are you blushing so much? I thought...
She laughs mischievously.
: I got it, you did this to confuse me? Isn't it?
:Relax, hubby! itsnothing like that we made out and youdon'trememberanything!
She laughs out loud, he gets up, pulls her by waist. She gets stunned by their sudden proximity. He leans on to kiss her, while Kamal knocks at the door, as everyone is waiting for them in breakfast table. Shravan gets irked, while Suman blushes, seeing him disappointed.
: We'll continue this later - he whispers in a husky voice making her turn red.
: Go and take your shower. I already had mine.
: Woah! Do you mean that I should wake up early from tomorrow so that we can save water and time? - He winks.
: May be! - She whispers into his ear making his heart swell up with love & leaves, grinning.

: No need to worry. Its just a sprain. But Mrs. Malhotra you've take complete bed rest for at least 2 days! - The doctor says.
Suman sighs in disappointment while Shravan is standing there tensed, biting his nails.
: Doctor, are you sure she didn't get hurt that much? - Shravan asks making everyone smile at his worrys.
: Yes, beta! She's fine - Dr. Arora assures him, patting on his shoulder lightly.
Its been 2 hours when Suman skipped two or steps on the stairs, fallenand sprained her right leg, Shravan heard her wincing in pain & found her sitting on the stair holding her leg in pain. He immediately went near her, asking what happened. She asks him to help her to get up and her overprotective husband took her in his arms in bridal style making her embarrassed that anyone can see them, Shravan groans irked that still she cares who's watching them in such a situation. So she just puts her arms around his neck, placing her head in his chest, right over his heart. She looked up admiring her husband's concerned face, which made her forget everything around.
Doctor leaves.
: Everything has a good side I believe. Suman sprained her leg accidentally, but now Bhaiya will get to spend more time with her as she's always there to do household chores all the day long & pays less attention to my hot & handsome bro - Pushkar teases.
Shravan, who's less attentive to his words, staring at his wife, who was blushing profusely at her brother in law's words. Shravan is just concerned about her, what if she would get hurt badly? He can't see her in pain. Its been two or more weeks of their marriage, arranged marriage, but she's has become a habit, a beautiful habit, something wonderful.
: Pushkar stop this okay? Suman, take rest darling, don't stress yourself. And if you ever, asks Shravan bhaiya only. I am sure he's not gonna leave you alone for a single moment - Vandy says smiling, adoring the cute couple in front of her.
Everyone leave the couple alone in their room. Shravan sits near Suman. He kisses on her forehead.
: Thank God! You're safe - He whispers, pausing his lips on her forehead.
: What if I wasn't? - She says mischievously which makes him sad.
She could sense his sadness.
: Easy, Mr. Malhotra. Your wifey is okay and completely fine. Should I get down from bed and jump high to prove that?
: Don't you even think about it. You're taking complete bed rest for next 2 days and I'll make sure of it.
: How will take shower then?
: Well, I can help in that.
: I don't mind by the way - she whispers making him smile.

Shravan is at kitchen, making soup or trying to make. Its been 1 hour and he's still confused what is he doing actually, he can't trust Vandy bhabi's cooking skills but he has to. Vandy says him to mix salt & gets busy with attending a phone call. Shravan gets clueless & mixes salt as much as he could.
: Seems like the Soup is ready- Shravan says to himself happily.
He serves the hot soup in a bowl and goes to his room. Suman is sitting on the bed, holding a novel in hand. She looks up & finds Shravan stranding there with a sheepish smile.
: Hey wifey, look what I got for you! Your favourite thai soup - he says excitedly causing her to smile lovingly.
He sits in front of her, keeps a napkin over her lap, get some soup in a spoon and blows over the hot soup. She stares at him lovingly which she used to do often nowadays. Watching him so close, caring for her so much always make her eyes tear up with love. Will he be ever able to know how much she loves him?
Shravan brings the spoon near her lips, while she is lost in him. He arches his brows amused, she just smiles and sips on the soup which he's serving to her. She finishes the whole bowl without saying anything, just admiring her husband's adorable face. He then makes her drink water which makes her laugh.
: What - he asks confused.
: Seems like I am a baby who can't even drink a glass of water ownself.
: Haha very funny! I am just concerned! - He says making a sad face.
: And I love this - she says causing him to smile.
At kitchen.
Shravan comes to put the bowl and finds Vandy there.
: Hey Shravan! Sorry I had to attend an important call and needed to go. Are you done?
: Yeah bhabi. The soup is here, you should try.
: Of course I'll.
Vandy smiles and tastes the soup, her smile fads away instantly.
: Did you serve this to Suman?
: Obviously bhabi! After all I made this for her!
Vandy sighs.
: What happened, bhabi darling?
: Just taste it.
Shravan takes a spoon to taste the soup made by him. He tastes and almost splits which made Vandy laugh out loud.
: I can't believe Suman ate the whole without saying anything - he groans frustrated, still feeling the over-salty taste on his tongue.
: Well thats not surprising at all - she winks.
At Shravan's room.
Shravan enters, finds Suman sleeping peacefully. He goes near her, puts the blanket over he properly. He turns back to leave but a soft hold on his wrist makes him stop & turns back. She makes him sit beside her.
: And our wedding night got ruined yet again! All because of me - she says.
: Nothing is more important than you, Mrs. Malhotra - he says, kissing her palm.
: You're pretty amazing & I hope you know that! - She gets up hugging him.
: I don't mind waiting for you for the rest of my life - he whispers.
: That sounds romantic, hubby!
: Sure! And eating up a whole bowl of super salty soup just because your husband made it thats romantic too.
Suman giggles tightening the hug more, getting into more of his warmth, making him sigh in content.

: And here're your tickets to Goa, bhaiya! - Pushkar says giving the flight tickets to his brother.
: Thanks chotey.
: Accha suno, enjoy your honeymoon. for God's sake please don't work on any case being there and don't bore my beautiful bhabi at all.
: Yeah yeah.
: Now I should leave. Finish your packings soon, the flight is at the noon.
: Hmm!
: Happy honeymoon, Suman - Pushkar wishes smiling.
Suman smiles at him. Pushkar leaves while Suman is packing their belongings. He hugs her from back.
: I promise I won't let you get bored for a single moment wifey. It'll be the best days of your life so far - he smirks.
Suman smile, caressing his stubbles lovingly.
: And why are you packing so much clothes? Don't tell me you think I want to see your typical sanskari looks in our honeymoon too. Its okay if you don't take any clothe along with.
She turns red and whacks him causing him to laugh out loud.

Shravan & Suman enter their hotel room at 7pm.
: Its beautiful! - she says happily, still holding his shoulders.
: Lets get fresh and go to the sea beach! Although you still look fresh - he says mischievously leaning into her.
: Its because I'm the happiest when you're around me! - she says letting their foreheads rest on each others.
: Well that sounds so well!
After a while.
At the beach.
: such an amazing view! I always wanted to walk in beach at the night under millions of stars - Suman says while walking with Shravan intertwining each other's hands together.
She is wearing a dark pink saree in which she's looking devine while He is wearing ice white shirt with light blue jeans.
: Anything else, Mrs. Malhotra?
: Well I had one more wish!
: And whats that?
She smirks, holds his both hands, standing in front of him on her tip toe, looking deep into his eyes, then looking at his lips, leaning slowly.
: Like seriously? We're doing this? - he teases.
: You talk too much - she says in a husky voice, inches away from his lips making him gulp down.
: Then I am not being gentle anymore! - he says and is about to capture her lips with his while she pulls him little lower and pecks on his nose.
And she bursts into laughter making him irked.
: You're such a tease, wifey - he says, disappointed.
: Deal with it - she smirks.
She walks ahead and sits on the sand without caring about her saree much. She rests her head over his right shoulder as he sits beside her and they hold hands lovingly.
: I heard you sing so well!
: And who lied to you?
: Ahh your aunt!
: Hmm elders use such silly tricks to get their daughters married to a perfect groom - she giggles.
: So? Did the trick work?
: Yup I guess so!
: So you can't sing?
: Well, everyone can sing hubby, its like someone sings well while someone's sounds torcher - she burst out into laughter and he stares at her smiling.
: And someone's laughter sounds like music!! - he adds.
She smiles and starts singing making him surprised well.

He smiles. God!! She sings so well -he thinks.
Suman stares at Shravan without looking away for a single moment andcontinuessinging.

He gets mesmerized. Tears are streaming down from her eyes, but there is a fond smile on her lips while looking at him. She doesn't bother to wipe them. The sight was so heart warming that he felt like he can spend his rest of life here, just here with her.

She recalls every moments with him. She finishes singing with a content smile, looks at her husband's stunned smile.
: That was amazing! - he says.
: Not more than you! - shewhispers.
She smiles, moving his hands away, sitting on his lap. She holds his face lovingly in her both hands & takes his lips in a passionate kiss.
