Raees vs Kaabil: Does Rakesh Roshan feel Hrithik Roshan's 'Kaabil' won't do well?

Rakesh Roshan goes back on his own words?

Rakesh Roshan is acting against his own set norm with his decision to prepone Kaabil's release date. The clash of Raees and Kaabil has surely become the talk of the town form the past few days and the latest buzz is that the actor-director-producer has gone back on his own words by preponing his film.

In an earlier interview, papa Roshan strongly believed that a shift in the release date of the film leads on to the film not performing as desired at the box office. Stating his "superstition", Rakesh even mentioned his earlier films like King Uncle, which he preponed due to his daughter's wedding, which flopped on the big screen.

Now the question that arises is, if Rakesh Roshan somewhere already considers that the Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil has a similar fate of not doing well at the box office and has therefore shifted the release date or is he going back on his own words?
