Ranbir is not one person who is star kid, is he? Salman, Aamir, Varun bhi toh star kids hai.

Raj Kapoor had once famously said about his son Rishi (btw Ranbir's dad) about his debut - " Beta just like I can bring horse to water, but can't make him drink. Similarly I can direct a movie for you. But I can't make audience like you."

Difference between an actor with fans and actor without fans is longevity and stardom. Since Ranbir has survived 9 years with more than few good (and hit) movies and quite a number of fans, I think it is time to rest his case. He is Kapoor with good shelf life.
