"They killed my baby!!" He tightened his fist and Tej, Shakti, Om and Dadi walked to him. "They killed him!!" The four of them hugged Shivaay but he pulled out of the hug.

"I have to find each of them and make them pay for killing my baby, for hurting my love." He roared.

"Shivaay stop." Om said.

"Anika needs you." Dadi added.

"More than anything." Jhanvi said and Shivaay entered Anika's room.

She was looking at nothing in special. She was just holding her now empty belly crying silently.

"Anika.." He said cupping her face. And she gave in, crying helplessly.

"Shivaay.. They killed our baby!" She cried and he hugged her tightly. "They killed him!" She tugged at his shirt as they cried together . He tried to put the support she needed in this tight hug but even he needed support too. He needed support in order to support his Paanika...Because he felt that in the first time he was weak. He was weak because this death, her pain affected him way more than what he could imagine.

"Don't worry jaan, everything will be okay." Shivaay said, his voice cracking at the end of the sentence but even he didn't know what would happen.

He stayed with her until she fell asleep. As soon as he left, Anika opened her eyes and left her room. It was way too dark to sleep there. She walked to the section for babies and looked at the babies in the nursery. Her heart broke on realizing that the baby she was carrying wouldn't see the world..The baby she carried wouldn't bring her to life..Because even though she had Shivaay and Sahil, even though this baby was illegitimate, this baby was the only one she could call her own.

Shivaay too wasn't good when he stepped in the mansion. He closed the door of his room and leaned against it. He remembered her tears, her pain and out of anger he threw his phone in the ground and it broke. His eyes were red just like blood when he stepped out of his room.

"Tej Singh Oberoi!" He roared. All the family looked at him.

"Today I just realized how much you must be hating me! Just because I'm leading the Oberoi Empire? Then take it. Take it if you want but give me my baby back! Give me my baby back!" Shivaay said and collapsed in his uncle's arms. He knew that Tej wasn't really at fault but he just needed someone to blame.

"I am sorry Shivaay. If I could do something to go back in time and stop my car, I would have done so. I promise, I would have done so." Tej said and for the first time, he looked like a father calming his son.

Shivaay went back to the hospital in the morning when she woke up. She was going to be discharged in a few hours so he had decided to go back to the mansion first before coming back to pick her up as the doctors had to run some tests on her.

"I want all of you to promise me that you won't say anything to Anika about her sterility." Shivaay said to his family and they looked at him taken aback.

"Kya?" Dadi said.

"Please, just don't. It's not a big deal." He said.

"First she doesn't have a name then.." Shakti began and Shivaay stopped him.

"That's exactly for this papa. I used to judge her because of this until I got past this. Anika is in a period of her life when she needs our support. I don't want her to live each day knowing that she won't be able to give birth to our children." Shivaay said then he left to his room to come back with suitcases.

"I'm going on a trip with Anika and when we'll come back next week, we'll get married." Shivaay said. Now he was only thinking about Anika's well being.

"Shivaay you can't throw decisions at us like this!" Pinky said.

"I'm sorry ammi but I'm doing what I believe is right. Anika has saved me, she has saved us a lot of time. It's time for her to be happy." He said then left. Dadi, Om, Rudra Saumya and Prinku looked at him leaving and they smiled. On the other hand, the parents were tense that he'd do a mistake because of his blind love for Anika. However, they didn't understand that this love would heal them both.

For the very first time, Shivaay Singh Oberoi didn't put his family first.. Well, no he did once again because Anika is now his family too.

A year later.

(+18) Anika woke up due to the lazy thrusts of her husband and she smiled.

"I thought last night was enough!" She moaned and he chuckled as he continued moving lazily in and out of her warm channel.

"You'll never be enough.. And sorry but this time I have to be selfish." He groaned as he emptied himself in her. Anika understood and didn't pay attention to that. Because he hadn't finished. He carried her to the bathroom where they continued their 'morning routine'. (End of +18)

"Jaan, I have to go for my meeting with the Patel family. You know how the groom-to-be is selective." Anika said while she finished drinking her coffee. The family looked at their daily show. Rudra and Soumya counted in their head, 3...2..1..

"Anika, I think you should take a break. They always need you and then we don't have time together. Plus this Amir Patel or whatever his name is, seems drooling over you!"

"Billuji please!"

"Paanika please!" He replied, she groaned and got up.

"Paanika the discussion isn't over!" Shivaay said behind her.

"Of course it is Billuji, since I'm leaving." Anika said and the older ones looked at the scene surprised. Anika seemed very irritated lately. Even Anika didn't know why she was this angry.

Sahil now counted in his head. 3...2..1..

"I'm sorry." Anika came back and kissed Shivaay on the cheek.

"I'm the one sorry Anika. Just go, okay? " Shivaay said. He couldn't be angry at her since he understood that he could lose her any time.

Once she left, and Soumya went to drop Sahil school, Dadi said.

"It's time billu. Anika is beginning thinking about having children. You have to tell her."

"I know." He just said. He had prepared a private dinner in their room and was just waiting for his wife to show up.

Anika too had something to tell to Shivaay, something very important. When she arrived home, she found that everyone had already eaten.

"Where is Shivaay?" She enquired. Dadi looked at her with tears in her eyes and Anika furrowed her brows. Even Jhanvi and Pinky were sad.

"What happened?" Anika asked. She thought that Shivaay had finally chosen to get rid of her.. She always thought that someday he'd get bored of her cheap attitude but she didn't know that it would happen this fast.

"Anika, Shivaay is waiting for you in your room." Tej said and looked at the woman he know loved as his own daughter.

Anika rushed to the room only to find a table in the middle of the room and there were candles everywhere. The atmosphere was quite romantic and she only thought that it was probably to make the break up easier for her to cope with.

"Shivaay?" She called and he got out of the bathroom.

"Oh you're finally here!" He said and pecked her lips.

"Is everything okay? Dadi and the parents are all looking depressed!" She said as she dropped her bag on the bed.

"Well, let's eat first yeah? I was the one cooking today." Shivaay said and he seemed tensed. Anika stared at him suspiciously but she eventually sat down to eat. They ate and talked about their day but Anika noticed how her husband was getting more stressed.

"Shivaay/Anika I need to say something.." They both said together and Anika smiled sadly.

"You first." Anika said and Shivaay sighed.

"Well, just remember that I'll forever love you. Anika when you had your accident a year ago and you lost the baby, the doctor told me that you were sterile and I told the family not to say anything to you because I didn't want you to live with the fact that we'll never be able to have children any more." Shivaay said and Anika looked at him as if he had grown three heads. He walked to her and fell to his knees. Then he began crying. Anika had never seen him this way before. He seemed so vulnerable.

"Shivaay..the doctor he ... he made a mistake." She said cupping his face and she wiped his tears away. She pecked his lips tenderly.

"Shivaay, it's impossible that I am sterile because I'm pregnant, baby." She added and Shivaay looked at her taken aback.

"What!" He said shocked.

"I'm pregnant Billuji!" She said again and he hugged her tightly.

"That's amazing! I love you Paanika!" He cried tears of joy and Anika giggled. She was happy because in her womb was growing the proof of their love. And they expressed their love again and again this night by making love.

On the morning, they were glistening with joy but Anika wanted to play a trick to the family along with Shivaay complicity.

They came downstairs with sad faces and Anika sat away from Shivaay. She sat between Sahil and Soumya.

They didn't glance at each other once. Rudra and Om noticed how Shivaay and Anika looked irritated.

"Shivaay? Anika? Kya hua?" Dadi asked.

"We're getting divorced." Anika said sternly.

"O my Mata!!" Pinky exclaimed and Shivaay hid behind his newspaper to chuckle.

"Why Anika Didi?" Rudra and Om asked.

"Because she won't be able to be the good wife I wanted for me and for this family." Shivaay said.

"It's because you're too selfish Baghdad Billa! Just thinking about your ass and nothing else!"

"Watch your words Paanika!" He said.

"Don't fu**ing call me that!" Anika answered.

"Your words Anika!" He said and he thanked this year of practising because he would have collapsed on the floor, dying with laughter by looking at his family's face.

"Please, Shivaay, Anika, don't take decisions like this." Jhanvi said.

"Yes Jhanvi is right. Please take your time to think about your future." Tej said.

"My future will be better without him/her!" Both said and the family looked at how Anika and Shivaay got up and left.

"Shakti, Pinky, go and talk to them." Dadi said but as soon as she said this, the couple came back laughing. Shivaay was supporting Anika, holding her tightly by the waist.

"Actually, Anika and I aren't getting divorced." Shivaay said between laughs.

"I'm pregnant!" Anika said and all the family was shocked.

"Pregnant?" The elders of the house said together.

"Yes. Our doctor is incompetent! Because we're going to have a little baby!" Shivaay said and all the family rushed towards Anika and hugged her.

"Thank you Anika. Thank you for the happiness you're bringing to this family." Dadi said and kissed Anika on the forehead.

3 months later.

Anika was in her room crying helplessly. She was eating chocolate while tears were streaming down her face.

"Open the damn door Anika!" Shivaay said banging the door.

"Nahin!" She shouted back, crying some more.

Rudra ran to Shivaay with a smile plastered on his face.

"What do you want Dumb Singh Oberoi?" Shivaay said sternly.

"The box, it has arrived." Rudra said and Shivaay sighed. He was finally saved. He followed Rudra to the hall and picked the box from the deliverer.

"O God thank you!" He said and Dadi smirked knowingly while her grandson ran back to his room.

"Anika! I got it!" He said and Anika got up from her bed and finally opened the door. She picked the box from her husband's hands and ran to the bed excitedly to open the box. She smiled and her face beamed with joy when she discovered the strawberry flavoured soaps. Yeah, you got it right. Anika Singh Oberoi was crying because she wanted strawberry flavoured soaps. Shivaay sat on the couch and sighed heavily while his wife was putting her soaps in her closet.

"I love you Billuji." Anika said sitting on his lap. She kissed his neck and Shivaay groaned.

"I think it's time to teach you a lesson Mrs Singh Oberoi." Shivaay whispered and carrying his wife to their bed, he prepared in his nasty mind how this little wife of his would pay.

3 months later.

"O that's so cute!" Anika whined on seeing the little onesie for her little girl. Yeah, you read it right. Another crazy girl was going to join the family.

"Anika, it's way too pinky." Shivaay answered.

"Shivaay it's a girl dammit!" She said.

"Exactly, it's a girl! She's not an unicorn." He replied.

He should have watched his words because next thing he knew was that Anika began sobbing. She was making a scene in the middle of a shop for an onesie which looked like an unicorn had vomited on it.

"Anika, please, don't cry. Don't take it that way, I didn't want to offend you." He said, gently wiping her tears away. He kissed her forehead and she breathed in deeply. Her hormones were playing tricks on her or I should say, Anisah was enjoying in making her father's life a living hell through her mother and she wasn't even born yet..

"Are you okay now?" He asked kissing her knuckles.

"Yes I'm sorry jaan, I just overreacted." She said and looked at her feet (If she could actually see them).

"That's okay lovely, let's go back home, you seem tired." Shivaay said and Anika hummed. He led her to the car then came back to the shop with a fake excuse to buy the onesie, because he couldn't deny anything to his little Paanika.

On their way home, Anika fell asleep on his shoulder and he smiled. He knew that she was exhausted. This pregnancy was hard and he knew it. She had almost lost Anisah because her body wasn't recognizing the foetus as being a baby. But she had been treated quickly so they managed to prevent the miscarriage. Then, she was taking a lot of medicine due to her anaemia. He felt so sorry for her current health.

Shivaay parked his car in front of the mansion and carried Anika to their room despite of her now heavy weight. He kissed her forehead and went to Om's room.

"Okay, I'm ready." He said and Om chuckled.

"Anika Didi won't be happy! She wanted to do it." Om teased.

"Anika exhausted." He said and they went to the room next to Shivaay's and began doing their work.

When Anika woke up three hours later, she found herself in their room. She caressed her belly was Anisah was kicking and she smiled.

"Where is your father now?" She asked while rubbing her belly. She got up and left the room.

"Shivaay!" She called but Rudra stopped her from going further.

"Anika Didi! Can you come for a second! Sumo needs you!" Rudra lied. He led his pregnant sister-in-law to his room and locked it behind her.

"Saumya!" Anika called.

"Wait!" Saumya said and folded Anika's eyes.

"Kahan ho tum Somu?" Anika asked.

"Don't worry Didi! I'm here." Saumya answered.

Anika felt a hand holding hers and they began walking out of the room. They walked until they arrived in front of a closed door. Rudra opened it and someone walked behind Anika and held her shoulders, kissing her neck.

"Shivaay.."She said and he unfolded her eyes. Anika looked before herself and was amazed. She began crying out of nowhere.

"Hey baby, what's wrong? Am I this bad at painting?" Shivaay asked.

"Nahin! It's so beautiful!" She cried and Shivaay smiled while he hugged her.

"Wait I want to show you something.." Shivaay said and turned off the lights. The roof was shining with stars.

"Wow! That's so beautiful!" She was beaming with joy.

Shivaay admired her smile while she was looking at the room. Anisah's room. She hugged Om, Rudra, Saumya and Shivaay and thanked them for this beautiful gift.

They were all happy to see her smiling.

At night, when Shivaay and Anika went to their room, they were at peace. For the first time in ages, they weren't worried about the pregnancy, they were only living the moment, enjoying each other's company.

"Can't believe that in 3 months, we will be parents.." Shivaay said.

"We are already parents Shivaay. We just aren't holding her in our arms now. But we're already parents." Anika replied and Shivaay.

"I'll never be able to have the last word with you, right?" He said.

"No, never." She said and pecked his lips. She nuzzled into his neck and kissed his chest just above his heart then she closed her eyes.

"I love you Shivaay." Anika said and Shivaay kissed her forehead.

"I love you too baby." Shivaay said and admired her angelic face while she felt asleep.
