The next day was a Saturday.Arnav watched Khushi getting inside the car.They were silent throughout the drive to office. Arnav observed her and she was aware of it.
Khushi tried some patterns of bridal sarees.She took it to Arnav's cabin.Before commenting on it he asked: Khushi..Are you ok?
Khushi:Yes
She suddenly changed the topic and showed more patterns.Arnav suggested some changes. Before leaving the room,she said:I want to go home in the afternoon today.
Arnav:Anything important?
Khushi:Nothing..but just wanted to relax
Arnav:Ok,I'll ask the driver to drop you at home.
Khushi:No...I'll go on my own.
Arnav frowned.
Aman came in while Arnav was finishing his lunch.
Aman was at Mumbai for the promotion of AR's new showroom.He returned only the day before.
Aman:Hai ..Who is the handsome guy with Khushi?
Arnav:Guy?
Aman:Yeah..she left with him just now in his car.
Arnav felt angry but he said:I don't know.
Aman:So he didn't meet you?
Arnav:No..she told me that she needs leave in the afternoon.
Aman:Let her enjoy with her boyfriend.What about yours?
Then only he remembered that she had a girlfriend.
Arnav was totally upset .
when he reached home in the evening,he found her there.
He didn't ask anything.
The next day,Sunday,he couldn't find her anywhere at home.He asked Nani.She said:So she didn't tell you?She went to her aunt's house with her cousin Vinod.
Arnav was fuming with anger.He went to his room feeling totally disturbed.
It was 8 o'clock at night.She didn't return.All were waiting.Anjali was feeling very tired and went to bed. By around 9o'clock the door bell rang.Arnav rushed to open the door.He saw her standing outside.She got in with Vinod.
Nani: Khushi..this is too much. Where were you?Why didn't you answer our calls?
Khushi kept silent.Vinod answered:Sorry,Naniji,as there was severe traffic block we couldn't reach on time.
Khushi:And regarding phone,there was no charge in my mobile.Sorry Naniji.
Nani:Anyway ,you cannot repeat this as long as you reside with me.
She understood that Arnav and Nani were very angry.He was silently observing everything.
Vinod left and Nani went to her room very annoyed.
Khushi went to her room.She sat on her bed closing her eyes.Later she took a bath and changed into a night dress.She kept her hair open and she had no idea how alluring she looked.It was almost 11o'clock at night.She felt hungry and went to kitchen to check whether there is anything to eat.As she was going through the living room,she heard a voice which startled her.Where were you today?She turned around and could see him standing in the dimlight glaring at her.She tried to switch on the lights,then remembered that her night dress was very thin.She turned to go.He stopped her and asked:answer me.Where were you?
Khushi: I told you know..I was at my aunt's house.
Arnav:Liar..you are a liar.You were enjoying your day with your boyfriend.
Khushi was angry.She said:mind your words.
Arnav:Why are you behaving as though you are different,you don't belong to this world.Why are you shrinking away from me but very comfortable with your boyfriend?
Khushi:He is not my boyfriend
Arnav:If an unmarried girl spends time unconditionally with a boy,that relation cannot be called sublime.
Khushi:That may be your way but I'm not used to it.
She turned to go but he was quick.He caught her by the waist and dragged her to him.Her breasts touched his chest and he could feel it as her dress was too thin.His breath was on her face.the smell of his cologne,the smell of his skin were killing her .His left hand was interlocked in her right hand.An undeniable desire aroused in both of them but his words flinched her.She struggled to be free from his hold but he pressed her harder to his body.
Arnav whispered in anger:Did you enjoy the day?Where did you spend your time?Entertain me also.He drew her face nearer and whispered:Have you ever been kissed ?
Khushi struggled in his hands:leave me alone..leave me..
His lips were very near.It almost touched hers.
She began to cry and then by taking Arnav into surprise,hugged him tightly, laid her head on his chest and cried her heart out.He was stunned and stood motionless.
She murmured in between crying:Don't do this to me.I haven't done anything wrong. Please...She was still hugging him,then suddenly raised her head looked into his eyes and said:I won't mind what others think about me but it would hurt me if you think wrong about me.
Arnav was speechless .He hugged her tight and kissed her forehead.There was tears in his eyes.He said:I'm sorry..so sorry. She couldn't take it anymore.She detached herself from his hands and rushed to her room.Arnav stood there as though he was hit by someone. He sat on the sofa and covered his face with his hands. He sat there for a few minutes and then slowly rose to his feet.
Khushi lied on the bed crying bitterly.At the same time she was wondering about her response to Arnav.She was wondering.What made her to behave so close to him?
She heard a knock on the door and wondered who it was.
To her surprise she saw Arnav standing there with food.He asked permission to get inside and then came and placed it on the table. He was leaving the room,reached the door,then Khushi called:Arnavji...
Arnav was stopped in his track.He turned around and saw her standing behind him.She looked very alluring with open hair.Her dress revealed the smooth curves.Arnav found it a very hard moment to control himself.He was already touched by her approach,could feel her body when she hugged him.She stood very nearby.She said:Thank you Arnav ji and I have to leave after two days to my aunt's house .
Arnav:Why?
Khushi:They need my presence.
Arnav looked at her and said:we'll talk later.Good night.
That was another sleepless night for Arnav.

That night was a turning point in their life.They began to feel for each other,became aware of each other.Arnav ran his fingers through his hair and stood near the window of his bedroom.It was midnight and there was a cool breeze making his hair untidy.The fragrance of the flowers kept near the window was making him crazy with mixed feelings. He stared into darkness and was recalling the way she hugged him.He felt ashamed of his rude and unrefined behavior to her.He could still feel her body close to his. He shut his eyes and tried to forget everything but can't.
Khushi was feeling the same.She couldn't sleep.She realized that she has started feeling for him.She told herself;No..it should not happen..never..She decided to leave Raizada house forever.

The next day Nani again scolded and questioned her.Khushi:Naniji..I'm so sorry but it was not done purposely.Then naniji I'm going to my aunt's house for a few days.she is not well.
Nani asked Raj to call her aunt.Raj confirmed that her aunt was seriously ill.
Arnav didn't want her to go.He was totally annoyed.
He decided to meet Khushi's aunt.
On the way to office Arnav told Khushi:I'm coming with you tomorrow to Lucknow.I want to meet your aunt.
Khushi:No..No,,Vinod will come .
Arnav:Inform him that I'll drop you.Give me his number.
Khushi was not willing .So he collected the number from Raj and informed that she would be coming with him.
Khushi was very tensed and disturbed.Nani was also not so happy regarding their journey together.But Anjali told Nani that it would help them to know each other better.
It was almost eight hours journey.So Arnav decided to go by flight. AR designers had its branch in Lucknow and Arnav had two apartments in Lucknow.He decided to spend a day there.He contacted his office and asked the driver to come with car in the airport.The flight reached Lucknow at 5.00 pm.It was a cloudy evening .Khushi's aunt lived near shahpur, kilometers away from the airport.Arnav asked the driver to go back to office catching a taxi and he and Khushi continued their journey alone.It started to rain heavily and was difficult to find the way.
Khushi was well cared by him and she was so aware of him sitting near her in the flight.Their hands touched and both were enjoying the journey together.
Khushi helped him to find the way to the village.There was thunder and lightening and the car got stuck in the mud.Khushi was very afraid of thunder and lightening.They looked around and saw only a few lights in the nearby area.
Both got out and was drenched in rain.Hand in hand they ran to the nearby area where they saw lights.It was a tea shop.There were only one or two people inside.Khushi was shivering with cold.Arnav asked for hotels nearby.They told that it was far away and for night stay small inns were available nearby. The shopkeeper offered them hot tea.They waited for the rain to stop.The shopkeeper asked them about their whereabouts to which Arnav answered diplomatically.He thought that they were husband and wife.
Arnav:Is there any workshop nearby?
The shopkeeper: 1 kilometre away.Anyway it is difficult to go there in this rain.While talking a truck came and halted near the shop.The driver came in and asked for tea.He gave Khushi a sly look.Arnav wanted to kill him.Arnav glared at him.He left and Arnav found it was not safe to travel further.
Arnav asked the shopkeeper:Is the inn nearby?
The shopkeeper:Yes,if you want I'll arrange it with my brother.He is running one .
Arnav:Yes..please
Khushi was afraid and embarrassed.But there was no other way.
The man called his son and asked him to manage the shop and went with them to show the way to the nearby inn.The rain was somewhat stopped.Arnav and Khushi walked together in an umbrella provided by him.Khushi took her and Arnav's bag from inside the car .Arnav put his hands around her shoulder and carried the umbrella.Their body touched and there was a fire ignited in them.Arnav looked at her and found her looking at him.
They reached the inn.It was a small room with an attached toilet.There was a small bed,table and chair.It was neatly kept.There was only a small bulb with very less light.Arnav closed the door and Khushi was so afraid and embarrassed.
Arnav:Khushi...there is no other way.Have you seen the way that man looked at you?I wanted to kill him.
Khushi:I know,but how can we spend the night together?
Arnav:I'm not going to rape you.
Khushi:I didn't mean that
Arnav:Khushi..first of all,let us change our clothes.
They changed into casual wear.The lady of the inn brought them dinner.It was a simple meal.
The lady:both of you look made for each other.God bless you.
She left.
Khushi tried to contact her aunt and Vinod but could not get through.
Arnav:Don't worry Khushi..I'll explain...I'll manage.
Arnav found her very beautiful in a simple kurtha.
The rain was so strong that the electricity had gone.There was total darkness and Khushi was very afraid.She hugged Arnav.
