SYNOPSIS
Ishita Iyer is the only daughter of Business magnate Vishwanathan Iyer and wife Madhavi Iyer. Naturally, she is extremely pampered, spoiled and stubborn because her parents fulfill all her wants and desires as she was born after many prayers and hardships. Vishwanathan, fondly addressed Vishwa by wife and friend's, is best friend's with Anand Khanna. Ashok, Anand's son and Ishita are childhood friends and Ishita has a supposed strong liking for him. Ashok buys Ishita expensive gifts from abroad whenever he goes on a business trip and Ishita enjoys it all. She feels she loves Ashok. However, in actuality, her greed for solitaire diamonds and branded purchases makes her want to keep Ashok closer. She confuses her feelings for materialistic things with liking for the rich, sole heir of his father's business, Ashok.
Raman Kumar Bhalla is Vishwa's Driver's son who Vishwa adores just as he would a son. A humble, down to earth Vishwanathan decides to get Ishita married to Raman. Ishita is obviously dead against this alliance and blatantly voices out her feelings to her parents believing that they can't force her in any which manner to get hitched in a match, totally against her will. However, Vishwanathan decides, for Ishita's own benefit to call the Bhalla's over to put a final stamp, over the alliance!
Ishita asks Raman to refuse the marriage as she 'loves' Ashok but he flips on her and agrees to the marriage which miffs her to no end!!
